We loved our stay at the cabin! It was clean and the kitchen was fantastic. Shelley was proactive in communicating what to expect. The hot tub was lovely, and the perfect way to relax after hiking around the local Provincial Parks. This was perfect for exploring the Thunder Bay area!

I stayed at Kari’s place with my husband and three kids. We all had enough place to sleep, and to spend time together. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The coffee and the basket with snacks were appreciated. The entire place was well cleaned and modern. We all enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. The kids really liked the game room.

Absolutely magical winter getaway! This cabin in the woods is a true gem. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a peaceful winter wonderland, with snow-covered trees and crisp, fresh air. The cabin itself is cozy and beautifully decorated, complete with candles that create the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The hot tub was a highlight, offering a warm escape while surrounded by the serene winter landscape. After soaking, we enjoyed the sauna, which was the ultimate way to unwind after a day of hiking and snowshoeing through the snow-covered trails. The views from the cabin were breathtaking, and stargazing at night was an unforgettable experience—such clear skies and endless stars. If you’re looking for a tranquil, nature-filled retreat, this is the place. We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and rejuvenating experience. The host was friendly, helpful, and very responsive. Highly recommend!

This home was absolutely gorgeous! The photos listed were great but it was even more immaculate in person. Such a cozy spot with great views of Lake Superior. We will be coming back for sure :)

This cabin was perfect (location, size) for a getaway with my dog! They were very welcoming to me & Toby-even leaving him a treat and towels. They were responsive and helpful when I had a question. It is very evident that they take a lot of pride in making time at the cabin an enjoyable and comfortable experience.

This was such a comfortable and cozy place to stay. It can get cold at night on the north shore in October, but a nice fire in the fireplace kept the cabin warm. The cabin is right off the road but perfectly secluded and private. There were a lot of nice extras like books, games, etc. I will most likely stay there again in the future. It was perfect!

Great, quiet, and remote cabin – perfect for a peaceful getaway while we were in area to fish on a lake nearby. Unfortunately, we had to leave early due to a family emergency, so we didn’t get to fully enjoy our stay. The hosts were very kind and responsive throughout. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, and I'm sure it's even more enjoyable in the summer when you can make the most of the outdoor space.

Ivan was awesome! There was no surprises everything he said was spot on. Place was great. I will be definitely renting from Ivan again.

Wanted to check out this tiny home on my work trip and it was perfect for what I needed.

This cozy cottage is the most peaceful little hideaway from home! It has everything you need for a short trip. My fiance and I enjoyed our stay with a lake view out of every window. Nice private lot to bring your dog along. It's close to all the must-see spots and the beach across the street is worth a visit.

My husband and I loved our stay! The cabin was so cozy and cute, and was remote enough for us to have some privacy, but also close enough to order food from restaurants or go to the general store if needed. Perfect weekend getaway!

This cabin was an incredible stay. My wife, dog and I visited for a long weekend and it was exactly what we were looking for. Very private, surrounded by beautiful nature. My wife and I both worked remotely, and the setup worked perfectly (ample desk/table space, fast wifi). Eagle mountain was just down the road, which was ideal for some memorable winter hiking!

This place was amazing! The view was unbeatable. We happened to hit it during peak Fall colors and during a local studio art tour- what a treat! Lots of parks and hikes around! Sunrise!!!! Restaurants are plentiful in Grand Marais. The shower situation and outhouse was a little less adjustment, but we made it all work and it definitely wouldn't keep us from coming back! In a sweet way the privative living made us appreciate our lives more and added to the experience! This place is just perfect. Plan to carry your trash out! What a treat!

We loved spending Thanksgiving weekend on the Lake! the cosy cabin with the warm fireplace was the perfect place to celebrate as a family. Plus have a few great saunas! Thanks for having us!

This is a great little cabin located in a very private area. It was winter, so we weren't able to enjoy the net hammock but we wanted to :-) The circular staircase to the lower level (where the second bedroom and third bed are) is very tight. Our suitcases were small enough to get down there, but we would have struggled if they were bigger. I also missed the fact there wasn't a dishwasher. Luckily my sons were put to work.

Sweet and comfortable Cabin. Very quiet and private. Wonderful path through the woods to hidden lake. A short walk down the rustic driveway to Lake Superior where there was lots of rock climbing and comfy places to sit. The cabin was cozy - had everything we needed. We had a couple of power outages during our stay as there was 35 mile per hour winds outside, it was crazy but fun at the same time. We kept a hot fire going to keep it warm. Leanne was very helpful during this time - it was not her fault as the entire town was out of power. We thought of it as an adventure. The beds were comfortable, in fact the bedroom upstairs was my favorite spot. Everything was great and we enjoyed ourselves.

Such a nice cabin. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again. The bed was a little firm for our liking, but that's a preference thing. Still a very nice bed, and bedroom. Cabin was well stocked, and it was a great weekend of relaxing and taking a break. Thanks so much!
