This was a great getaway spot. Loved the big windows for beholding the lake and sunsets. Very clean and cozy with a well-supplied the kitchen and big wood supply for maximal enjoyment of the sauna and fireplace. The only added comforts would have come from some updated beds and pillows and a heads up about other guests in the space. Would definitely go back!

Ross’s house was in a beautiful location, and he has many beautiful photos all around to study. The windows in the back of the house were so fun to look at the waves, ice formations and aurora borealis.

Kapil’s place was amazing to stay at. It was more the hospitality that they had and being there to answer any questions or requests that we had. He was so accommodating and understanding. The place was clean and just like the pictures! I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area! He was so accommodating for all of our last minute requests!

I can’t thank Ashley enough for her incredible hospitality and flexibility. I originally arrived two days late for my three-night stay, and just when I thought things couldn’t get more complicated, I got stuck due to a snowstorm. Despite all of this, Ashley went above and beyond to accommodate me, ensuring I was still able to stay for the full three nights I had originally booked. From start to finish, the service was superb in every possible way. The kindness, understanding, and effort to make my stay as smooth as possible did not go unnoticed. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for exceptional hosts who truly care about their guests. Thank you again, Ashley…you made a stressful situation so much easier!

Lovely space full of thoughtful touches. I was spending most of my time in Thunder Bay at the Tournament Centre, so the location was great. I'd absolutely stay again!

The home is very comfortable and clean. There were 4 adults in our group and there is plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen has new appliances and good space for cooking. Everything is easy to use. Beautiful and quiet yard and peaceful setting. Katie was very responsive with any questions we had about check in etc.

Everything was as advertised! The street is pretty busy and loud, but our white noise machines worked just fine for sleeping, and everything else was good. Nice location for getting around Houghton. Kim's descriptions and instructions were very accurate and helpful. Would stay again.

I have stayed here several times now for work. Great location and house is very comfortable for a group. Jay is always very responsive and helpful.

Nice place close to the airport. Be mindful there is only a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker in the kitchenette. the one washroom is located through one of the two bedrooms.

Everything was amazing, from the cleanliness to feeling at home! We had everything we need there. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here !

The level of cozyness at Suzy’s place falls short of words. We were treated like family and felt right at home the moment we arrived. We walked into a bottle of wine and lots of goodies. The space was cozy. Clean. Spacious. Quiet. We stayed for about a month and half and I wish we booked sooner! Maxie and Nexus (the dogs) were also great hosts. Loved being greeted by them. Super well trained and friendly. The best. Our dog, Rambo also loved it. He especially enjoyed the fireplace. I’d 100000% recommend Suzy’s place. Honestly one of the best people I met. We had paint night and it’s the best souvenir from TBay! Lotsa fun. We’ll forever keep in touch. Super kind, sweet, giving and warm. Always baking yummy goods and leaving them as surprise treats. Even made us dinner one night. She also super accommodating. If you’re in Thunder Bay, I’d say you’d regret not booking this place. Best experience. Thank you for everything. We hope to see you all soon.

Jory is a really helpful host. He worked to arrange a last minute booking and made our stay work out great. This is our second time here. We would recommend it highly.

The apartment is nice and well priced. I would say the pullout couch doesn't really sleep 2 well, at least not two teenagers. One of our kids ended up sleeping on the floor. Other than everything was great.

We loved our stay at the Cozy Bear Den! It’s cozy, peaceful, and there's plenty to do along the north shore any time of the year. It was clean and had everything we needed. We loved relaxing in the sauna after a day of hiking. Great dinner and music just down the hill at Bluefin Bay. We would definitely recommend.

I was in town for two weeks and absolutely loved this place! It had everything I needed - laundry, full kitchen, living area, comfy hanging chair and the most comfortable bed! You can tell a lot of care went into furnishing this place. Would definitely stay again.
