The house has been there for 478 years at time of writing this and on our trip here we’ve created more life long family memories that add to this incredible historic and amazing home. We had a fantastic stay over Christmas. On arrival we had Prosecco and chocolate which was a very thoughtful touch. Rebecca’s house is fun and quirky, it has a very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds with lovely clean linen and fluffy towels, there were even lots of fun board games. It is a beautiful location and we would love to go back in the summer.

The place was stunning and felt amazing to be there even if it was for only one night. Daniel was very friendly and showed us around. Would definitely want to visit again when i am in the area.

Back from a fabulous weekend at this beautiful, quirky, country farmhouse. I booked it to gather with friends & family for a special birthday & it exceeded our expectations. Bursting with character, we loved the way the house is dressed, a lovely mix of old & new. It was extremely well equipped & the welcome basket was a nice added touch. The bedrooms were all nicely decorated & the unusual layout didn’t cause any problems for us. Our only issue was the main hub of the house was chilly & we couldn’t seem to get the heating to work properly but that said it was unusually cold temperatures during our January stay and the lounge room & bedrooms were nicely heated by electric heaters. We enjoyed a nice walk around the church next door, the famous yew tree is well worth a visit. We would definitely return, maybe for a summer retreat next time & make use of the lovely garden.

Absolutely loved the stay! Sarah and Reuben are fantastic, professional hosts; Sarah was swift and helpful with responses on any queries we had during our stay, and Reuben helpfully prepared some extra firewood for the pizza oven, as the logs we had were on the larger side. Everywhere was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was perfectly private and idyllic, with supermarkets only a 10 minute drive away. Of course, no review would be complete without mentioning the amazing hot tub - a wonderful, relaxing experience! We would highly recommend staying at their lovely property!

Sarah was an Amazing host and I couldn't have asked for a better host or a more wonderful house. Sarah's home was stunning and was so lovely to be near a wonderful big park.

This is a lovely old nineteenth century house, oozing charm and character. The kitchen/diner is the focal point, where we spent most of our time, a log burner making it particularly cosy in winter. There are other rooms where you can escape for a bit of peace and quiet. The kitchen has everything you need, a huge fridge/freezer with ice maker, a big cooking range with induction hob, and every appliance you can think of. Sadly the English winter limited our outdoor enjoyment, other than a log fired hot tub in which we wallowed at night, drinking champagne (a big birthday) and looking at the stars, and there’s also a wood-fired pizza oven. In better weather there’s loads to entertain children outside, in particular a trampoline. Lots of wildlife around, we startled a deer in the garden one night! The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay and wished it had been longer.

We stayed 5 nights. The room was spacious, WiFi perfect, relaxing place, dining place, the bedding was of a very good quality. When we arrived, there was fresh baked bread, eggs, butter, coffee, tea, water. Annemarie is always willing to help. Very kind family. Don’t hesitate, go for it! We enjoyed our days!

Had a fantastic stay here, beautiful, spotless flat with everything we needed in a great location. Easy to get everywhere, endless things to do - Brighton is fantastic! Couldn’t recommend this accommodation more, fantastic value, felt right at home. We will be booking again in the summer!

Had the bestest serene birthday! So happy to find Jasper’s place. The accommodation is exactly what is posted online. Stunning sea views in the morning 🥰🥰🥰 Jasper is so ever helpful and responsive. We had the best quiet time just admiring all the interiors and the view of the house. I would love to gate keep this little nook we found but it deserves a spotlight. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved this little space. I'd taken myself away for a couple of nights me time and meeting old friends. Zoe was great, she let me use the driveway but the road looked to have good parking. The space was quirky and fun it even comes with a record player and a great selection of records. I'll definitely be returning. Thank you Zoe.

A stylish and upmarket home in an excellent location for proximity to underground. Lovely local bars and restaurants within minutes walk. The home had every convenience we needed and more. We were visiting our daughter in Fulham so it was ideal. Would return in a heartbeat!! Thanks Adam and Taran for a fabulous week’s stay.

lovely and peaceful. great pub 1km away and an off licence, petrol station. for anything else you will need to drive. remoteness is a reason to take this property. comfortable bed. Nice accommodation but if you're tall the ceiling slants so the shower might be a problem. the WiFi is patchy.

We had a wonderful stay at this stunning St Leonard's house! Marsha was a warm and responsive host, and her place is so spacious and filled with light. Everything was spotless and we had all that we needed. Would highly recommend!

Can’t really fault it. Was as described, spotless clean, easy to find and very easy walk to the things we wanted to see in Dungeness. The pilot inn gave us an outstanding meal both nights, and overall it was a good value, clean, modern and (mostly quiet - except for the odd early morning truck) peaceful. Cant say we’ll stay again as we have now seen dinginess, but anyone wanting to visit the area for walking or having a look around this is a great place to stop a night or few.

We had a great stay. The cabin is in an incredibly peaceful location. Our kids loved the field, trampoline, swing and the heated pool. Just right for a few days’ break from city life!

Look…. It’s just great end of. All I can say is there is No WiFi and the signal inside is not great however outside signal is great. The outside bath is epic! The option to have a fire is great. Mega cozy, great to just have some you time! Oh and donkeys…. Yeah I wasn’t ready to see them as I walked to the place haha! Top tier accommodation!

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely shepherd’s hut! The hut itself was modern, spotlessly clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable getaway. The host went the extra mile by leaving us a welcome bottle of champagne, which was such a thoughtful touch. Throughout our stay, they were incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The peaceful countryside setting was perfect for a relaxing weekend away. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cosy retreat. I’ll definitely be back!

Nick was very helpful prior to our stay . Gave us direction for Bolney Vineyard and the Cider Tap room . Allowed us to check in early . Cabin was as described a comfortable bed and peaceful surroundings . Nice overnight stay with a bottle of wine looking at the stars . Will definitely be returning . We had a really lovely stay. Although we was in the back garden essentially, we couldn’t have received more privacy from the owners. Alyson was very helpful and provided us with a lot of insight as to what activities were around and near by. Would stay again 100%

We loved our stay at Pancake Lodge, beautiful views, immaculate lodge, hot tub was a very good quality one, outdoor dining area was unique and creatively made, all amenities needed and clear communication throughout. Kari also was kind enough to add a birthday banner for us before arrival and helped plan for a later check in putting on some lights warmth etc. Very thoughtful extra touches were appreciated. Would highly recommend and will return.

Larissa’s quaint little cabin was a wonderful escape from the hustle & busy world we find ourselves in. She was responsive & left us some fresh eggs & also delicious homemade jam. We are a family of four & and whilst we were very comfortable the place is small. Our girls slept very well on the futon bed in the lounge. I imagine this place comes to life in summer when you can utilise the outdoor space; like the dining table. We found it quite crammed at mealtimes. The pool, even in November, was fantastic! Fresh & an absolutely wonderful experience. Thank you Larissa.
