We had a truly wonderful stay at Ca Pedrot! The cabin is super cozy, we loved the sauna, and the views are fantastic. We loved the little touches like nice bed linens and towels and luxury soaps. There's an extensive range of pots/pans, cooking utensils, etc. The cabin has plenty of privacy. It's also is on a nice snowshoe path, for winter visits. We were particularly impressed by Andy, the host, who was super communicative, got the fire going in the wood stove for us because we were arriving in the evening, gave us pointers for using the cable car and finding the cabin in the dark. True hospitality! Can't wait to go back.

Wir hatten eine wirklich schöne Zeit im Chalet. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Luana war eine sehr gute Gastgeberin. Die hat stets und sehr schnell auf Anfragen reagiert und war sehr entgegenkommend und hilfreich. Vielen herzlichen Dank Luana :)

Exceptional host, exceptional place! We loved our stay in Wild Field Lodge and, as hosts ourselves, greatly appreciated the thoughtful amenities available throughout the property. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids under 5, and so it’s tricky to find accommodations that are actually relaxing, let alone loaded with toys and kid entertainment. This place is serene, fun, well equipped, and beautiful. The host’s communication and generosity were outstanding. You can feel the love invested in this property, and that makes for a very special life experience. Highly recommend!

Wettertechnisch hatten wir alles mit dabei. Bei schönem Wetter waren wir Wandern im Verzascatal und auch direkt vom Haus aus, was sehr zu empfehlen und wunderschön ist. Bei Regen haben wir einen Tag mit Spielen im Haus und ein Besuch im Splash e Spa genossen. Für unsere Familie mit zwei Kindern (7 & 9) war das Haus absolut perfekt. Die Heizung mit Holz im Kamin hat uns sehr entsprochen und für eine wohlige Wärme im Haus gesorgt. Wer's wärmer mag, konnte sich direkt beim Ofen aufhalten, minimal kühler wars in der Stube und in der Küche, und angenehm kühl zum Schlafen im obersten Stock. Die Elektroöfen waren für Aussentemperaturen von 10-18 Grad nicht nötig (einzig kurzzeitig vor dem Duschen :D).

Das Häuslein ist wirklich entzückend und Sarah eine ganz tolle Gastgeberin. Die Treppe in den Spitzgiebel ist nichts für Kinder und behinderte Menschen. Ganz toll ist der Schwedenofen im Wohnraum. Die Küchenutensilien sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber für 2 Personen ausreichend vorhanden.

Tolle Zeit - danke für die Möglichkeit Ruhe in der rauen Natur erleben zu dürfen. Die gute Organisation des Schneemobils bei hohem Schnee abreisen zu können, war einwandfrei.

We found this hidden gem in the middle of nowhere and it‘s the perfect cozy stay before / after a long hike. Jana provided us with the option to get dinner and breakfast in the restaurant next door and the homemade and freshly cooked food was just amazing. We cannot recommend this place enough! We‘ll definitely be back to try more hikes nearby and enjoy the beautiful nature. Thanks a lot Jana & Joel

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.. Anna war immer erreichbar bei Fragen. Check in und Out waren super über das Hotel neben an. Alles sehr sauber, schön modern und mit Liebe zum Detail.. ruhige Umgebung, Supermarkt, Bäcker 15 Minuten Fußweg erreichbar. Ebenso 5 Minuten entfernt sehr leckere Käserei. Ausflugsziele wie Lugano, Locarno, Como, Ascona und sogar Mailand sind keine 2 Std. entfernt. Passwege waren auch im Winter gut zu befahren.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Es hat uns eigentlich an nichts gefehlt und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Ausblick ist einzigartig und diese Ruhe echt klasse. Alles bestens verlaufen ☺️

Die Übernachtung in diesem Haus ist für mich wie ein Geschenk – es ist ein erlebtes Stück Zuhause auf Zeit. Kommen wieder :)

Perfect place to disconnect from reality! We were 2 adult with our 3 kids (8,6,2 months). The big kids played all day outside (there are swings and a lot of space to run around). They were not bored one second, always exploring the beautiful nature. Inside the house everything was very clean and nothing was missing. We had really everything we needed. Make sure you do the shopping ahead so you do not have to go down again (35 min one way).

It was a dreamlike experience - truly a place I could only dream about. Absolutely private, silent, and secluded - we spent New Year's Eve there and didn’t see a single person around. The views, the silence, the mountains - everything was perfect. The hosts, Joe and Kya, were amazing. Super friendly, helpful, and responsive. They even helped carry our belongings up the mountain before check-in and back to the car on the morning of January 1st (!). Such kind people! I cannot fail to mention the heartwarming welcome pack with food, sweets, wine, and even treats for our dog, which made us feel so welcome. Even though we visited early in the season, we had so much fun sledding, hiking (with our dog everywhere), relaxing in the cozy house, and enjoying the sauna - followed by jumping into the snow afterward. So you have a lot to do :) Highly recommend it to anyone looking to escape the hustle and truly enjoy the mountains!

Unsere Familie hatte eine sehr schöne Zeit in diesem Haus verbracht. Lage: Perfekt für Leute die es ruhig haben wollen. Alles zum Einkaufen ist in Faido vorhanden. Haus: Sehr gut ausgestattet, mit viel Liebe zum Details. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Host: Die richtige Menge an Kontakt, jedoch wurden unsere Anfragen immer in kürzeste Zeit beantwortet. So stellt man sich gute Unterkünfte vor.

Lovely place to get away from busy city life. The hike up is no problem and mostly stairs in the forest. We even hiked it with headlamps at night (1km about 250m elevation). Bring a hot-water bottle if you come in fall or spring. The valley is beautiful and offers lot's of easy and more challenging hikes. We had a great time and would come back!

Cadre idyllique et paisible. Chalet bien équipé avec tout le nécessaire accessible par une route carrossable et un chemin de terre. Nadia est une hôte serviable qui nous a aidé avec nos bagages et au transport de la cage de notre perroquet car ma voiture était trop basse pour le chemin qui mène au chalet. Le seul voisin de Nadia a été accueillant et nous a offert des prunes de ses arbres. Le fromage et le saucisson de la ferme sont excellent. Nous avons passé 4 jours avec nos 2 chiens et notre perroquet paisibles et reposant en pleine nature.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft. Sie haben uns sogar einen leckeren Kuchen, eine Happy Birthday Karte und einen Sekt bereit gestellt gehabt es wirklich sehr sehr nett war. Auch hatten wir unser Raclette Gerät vergessen und Ivan ist sogar extra zum Haus gefahren um uns eins zu geben. Super hilfsbereite und nette Gastgeber! Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber! Die Lage ist perfekt um in die Berge zu gehen
