This house is amazing! It's a little in the middle of nowhere, but close to a little grocery store, and not far from Lake Morena, which is a great place to go boating. We also used it as a base from which to go to Julian to enjoy apple picking and fall activities. The house itself is huge and so comfortable! Four bedrooms, a huge living room and family room, a dining room, a giant eat-in kitchen, a huge master bath with a whirlpool tub. The kids enjoyed the chess board table. And Cindy was really nice when our dog left a surprise on one of the bedroom rugs and we didn't notice it before we left (oops). But the best thing is the grounds. There's a wonderful hot tub, not one but two fire pits, and a very friendly horse, Splash, who let us pet and feed her. We even played cornhole in the front yard. We met Cindy and she couldn't have been friendlier. I'd definitely recommend this house to any large group coming to the area!

Daniel is a wonderful host. Very friendly and gives great tips on the area as he used to live there. The house is in a secure and beautiful location with both the beach and estuary within walking distance. Everything was as described and the layout was perfect. The Mexican people you find in the neighborhood are very friendly. If you don't speak Spanish, though, this is probably a good choice - the gated neighborhood is full of Americans as is one of the local eating/shopping areas. There is a beautiful horse stable on the trail as well which is fun to check out. Daniel is doing some work on this house so I won't mention some areas that need attention as I'm sure he'll address those. You will need a car to get to most places but could hike to a local store and to get prepared food if you don't mind a 20ish minute walk. It was my favorite of all the places I've visited in Baja (4 o far) and I'll definitely be back if I can!

Great place! We stayed there for a college visit to SDSU and found that the location was excellent. It was pretty convenient to everywhere - beach, little Italy, airport, old town. The area is quiet and comfortable - walking distance to a grocery store and good restaurants just minutes away. The house is clean and spacious with plenty of room for everybody and everything you need. Our host was quick to respond, friendly, and accommodating. Love San Diego! Hoping my daughter commits to SDSU - would definitely stay here again.

Listing is as advertised. Very quiet, cozy, and 10 minutes from a ton of stuff. Street parking is generally available within a block of residence and Lyfts are plentiful. I would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at Max's Airbnb in Crownpoint! The location is perfect, with several local favorite restaurants just a short walk away. The photos on the listing were spot-on, and the space was exactly as described. Max was a fantastic host—extremely friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. One of the highlights was the Jacuzzi, which we enjoyed each night. Our dog loved the grassy area, and the overall pet-friendly vibe made our stay even better. It’s clear that Max goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy, convenient, and welcoming stay!

Our stay was amazing from check in. Harrison and Megan provided clear instructions making it easy to check in. The house was exactly as described and super clean. Everything we needed from flatware to coffee was provided! Our hosts were super responsive and had great kid friendly recommendations for us. There were even toys and games for the kiddos! It was an amazing stay overall and super thankful to Harrison and Megan for making our spring break special.

Was down for a concert at Pechanga Area and this was a great place to stay - only 6min drive from the air bnb to the concert.

Thia ground floor appartment is full of thoughtful details. Host was very friendly and communicative. Place is close to shopping centers and to SeaWorld. I recomend.

I'm so grateful for Linda's quick communication and care for us while we were staying at her place! The location itself is beautiful and close to so many yummy restaurants/grocery stores. The staff at Calafia was so friendly & made us feel so safe while within the community. We definitely would stay here again!

What a gem! Highly recommended from just about every angle. The home is cozy and beautiful, but what really stands out are the amenities and the thoughtfulness of super-host Kim. The hot tub is perfect, as is the fire pit, and the home is decked out as fully as your own home, just much better organized and labeled. Dozens of games, a stocked kitchen, a shed full of beach and outdoor equipment, and so much more. Kim's 40-page homemade booklet of San Diego recommendations informed our stay in meaningful ways. Go for it -- a perfect base for your San Diego stay!

We had a great stay! It was close to the beach and easy to walk to restaurants and coffee shops. Bradley was very responsive and helpful!

It was exactly as listed. Very cozy and nice decor. The blue accents are very pretty. Very comfy bedding. Kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. Bathroom was very clean. A nice big closet to hang clothing and store your luggage. A giant TV screen. A beautiful park across the street with a nice playground for the kiddos and then the beach. We took lots of nice walks on the walkway next to the beach. We had a very nice stay. Rex always responded quickly to any questions or requests we had. He is a great host.
