We wanted a calm weekend in a lovely cabin and that's exactly what we got! Lorna was absolutely lovely and so considerate - she even asked for our dietary requirements and provided appropriate treats as well as some delicious marmalade! The cabin was clean, beautiful, and serene. The hot tub was so relaxing. Lorna was so welcoming and helpful. Can't recommend this cabin enough!! We had the best best time! Thank you, Lorna!

We had a great stay recently. We attended a wedding nearby and the location was good. Very modern, clean and comfortable. A hot tub would make a brilliant addition but we can't fault our trip.

As always this is my fourth or fifth time back to here. Always have a great relaxing time and plenty to do. The caravan is very well equipped. Everything you need. Also take my great nephew who is 6 yrs old here sometimes and he absolutely loves the play park on the grounds. Monica and Stuart are the perfect hosts. Always at the end of a phone if required. 5/5

I booked the cottage for a suprise holiday for my son and his family. There was a mix up with the cleaner, but this was very quickly sorted out for them. The rest of the holiday was not affected by this, and they had a wonderful time in such a beautiful surroundings. The cottage was absolutely stunning and had views to match.

Well-furnished and outfitted picturesque cottage with stunning views looking out over the sea! Really enjoyed the sitting in the sunroom enjoying those great views!

Had a great overnight stay. Very helpful and clear instructions given. All the little extras thought of. Wish I wasn’t needing to push on or I would’ve happily stayed another night.

Had a fantastic stay here with our two families. Beautiful place and surroundings. Few little recommendations for the host though, a welcome pack would be helpful, codes for tvs and instructions for bins, how to work heating, laundry requirements for check out etc. WiFi wasn’t working for passwords given either, but figured out other wifi Also some more mirrors in bedrooms would be really useful. Brilliant hosts, quick response when asked a question, loads of linen and towels, toilet paper etc, well kitted out kitchen, lovely house! We had a great stay. Thank you!

We spent a fantastic 6 nights at No 5 The Grange. It is in a great location for walking to the beach (0.5km down the road, no pavement but few cars and all slow and courteous). Shonagh was communicative and helpful from the beginning and sent clear instructions to find The Grange. Number 5 is at North East corner of the building. The residents parking bays aren't labelled apart from a blue sign for No. 5, that was very helpful. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very functional - clear instructions about the bins, a heated clothes dryer, vacuum cleaner and very well equipped kitchen are the sort of homely touches that really elevate an Airbnb. The bed was extremely cosy, both showers hot and powerful, and an unexpected bonus of TVs in both bedrooms also. We travelled with our dog and he felt immediately at home. Of note, The White Horse (10 min walk) and The Cock and Bull are dog friendly. Thank you Shonagh, we loved Balmedie and will be back!
