Wonderful farm life experience. A very special and unique stay, with an educational tour of Julie and Tony’s farm. Great hikes around the area.

Wow I don't even know where to begin. Lou and Dion were so warm and welcomed us into their house (which is situated on the farm). The highlight of our stay was the farm tour. Highly recommended for BOTH kids and adults. It's a separate fee of 250nzd at our time of stay and it was well worth it. Dion took us up to his farm up on his 4WD and we went up the mountains where the views are unparalleled and we could get up close and personal with the cows, sheeps, and his sheepdog as well. He shared personal experiences as well as interesting facts about the farm. This beats and commercial stay or visit to a farm. Lou was also very welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. We met with a situation where our car was in a ditch and Lou was so kind to send her nephews Isaac and Hamish to help tow us out of the situation. My family is extremely grateful for their help and hospitality. If you're visiting lake tekapo or any of the surroundings, just stay here already!

What a bloody beauty! We actually talked about selling up (Sunshine coast of Australia) & moving over. Stunning house and extremely well appointed. Comfortable beds with quality linens, shag pile carpets in all bedrooms. Sleek kitchen and bathrooms and beautiful living room. We all made use of the outdoor hot-tub, such a wonderful addition to have. The surrounding landscape is a visual treat. It was hard to leave, but we will be back. Rowan was the most thorough host with communication and instructional info on operating everything involved with the house. An absolute pleasure:)

willow retreat was exactly as described. A cosy place to relax with my partner and dog. the outdoor bath is a nice addition. The accommodation was well kitted out with everything you need and the included breakfast was a nice touch. Will stay again.
