Lovely quiet place to stay ☺️

Alhena and her amazing property in Caroline Bay was absolutely amazing. The aesthetics of this place is just Devine, it is such a beautifully presented place to stay. And also so practical for a family to use (we have two children under three). It was spacious, great location. We had a wonderful welcome from the owners upon arrival. A lovely guide book of the area which for food especially we really appreciated. For someone who has never been to Timaru this has definitely made our stay even better. Also such an amazing view from the lounge room. Wish I could take some of the furniture home with me 🥰

Rachel's place was lovely and quiet. nice outside area to sit and enjoy the sun. really cozy and comfortable

Great place to stay. Great location. Nice and clean. Appreciated the fruit, milk and cookies from the host. Clear instructions for check in, check out and usage of the appliances.

We were back again for a third visit. A place to relax and unwind in comfortable private surroundings. Denise is so helpful and friendly. Thoroughly recommend for a great place to stay in Geraldine.

This is a modern, newly renovated house located near town centers, where you'll find gas stations and restaurants. The house comfortably accommodates our group of four people and includes two full bathrooms. The TV offers access to Disney+, Netflix, and YouTube for our entertainment. The outdoor space is expansive, featuring a fireplace, hot tub, and BBQ grill. Self check-in was quick and easy with the digital lock. Thanks for the consideration, we received a helpful Chinese version arrival guide with all the necessary details. The swings in the backyard are an added bonus; I can easily imagine spending the whole day there, enjoying coffee and reading a book.

As a university professor on sabbatical, the month I spent at Drew and Sally’s was exactly what I needed. A beautiful, peaceful, quiet place to write and the perfect place to be refreshed too. I wish I could give it 10 stars. More than anything else, my parents and I appreciated their kindness and warm hospitality. We were welcomed as though we were dear friends and were given many fresh eggs, produce from the garden, tales of adventure (Sally climbed Denali and Drew mountaineered and protected people in Antarctica), and walks with Koa, the friendliest and sweetest dog ever. I loved seeing the stars and Milky Way at night, the cute town of Geraldine with the Talbot Forest Walk, the biking/walking trail right by Drew and Sally’s house, the nearby Peel Forest and beach at Timaru, and great day trips to Lake Tekapo, Mt. Cook, and where LOTR filmed Edoras. I only stayed a month but I feel homesick and hope to return someday. We’ll stay in touch, Drew and Sally! Love from Laurie

Amazing house next to a farm! You could see the cows in the morning! The place is very clean and well built and everything is working good. Definitely worth a stay to explore the surrounding places! It might just be a bit dark to enter at night like most rural houses.

Spacious, Modern & Relaxing. This home is amazing! It’s large, beautifully warm, and stylishly decorated upstairs with a modern touch. A true hidden gem, surrounded by lovely gardens and featuring a stunning deck—perfect for relaxing. The added bonus of a spa bath and sauna made our stay even more special. Communication was seamless from booking to check-out, making the whole experience stress-free. We can’t wait to book again!
