Felt like home, spacious, provide all you need and more, clean and tidy. This special home is far more comfortable than all the places I used to hire all the years I hire accommodation in the area. We will book this in advance every time we will go to Timaru.

Lovely quiet place to stay ☺️

Alhena and her amazing property in Caroline Bay was absolutely amazing. The aesthetics of this place is just Devine, it is such a beautifully presented place to stay. And also so practical for a family to use (we have two children under three). It was spacious, great location. We had a wonderful welcome from the owners upon arrival. A lovely guide book of the area which for food especially we really appreciated. For someone who has never been to Timaru this has definitely made our stay even better. Also such an amazing view from the lounge room. Wish I could take some of the furniture home with me 🥰

We had a Manager stay overnight and he was very happy with everything: clean and tidy, comfortable bed, quiet and good location, good heating/cooling, and had everything he needed. Communication with the host was excellent and he said he would stay there again.

New owner in place since Feb14. He is lovely and always keen for a good chat. Very helpful too. He helped us with a cot and highchair

Great place to stay. Great location. Nice and clean. Appreciated the fruit, milk and cookies from the host. Clear instructions for check in, check out and usage of the appliances.

What a bloody beauty! We actually talked about selling up (Sunshine coast of Australia) & moving over. Stunning house and extremely well appointed. Comfortable beds with quality linens, shag pile carpets in all bedrooms. Sleek kitchen and bathrooms and beautiful living room. We all made use of the outdoor hot-tub, such a wonderful addition to have. The surrounding landscape is a visual treat. It was hard to leave, but we will be back. Rowan was the most thorough host with communication and instructional info on operating everything involved with the house. An absolute pleasure:)

The house was absolutely beautiful and located in such a peaceful, scenic area. From the moment we arrived, we felt a sense of calm and relaxation. The surroundings were serene, and being in the company of cows and even spotting a few deer made the experience even more special. It truly felt like a retreat away from the noise of everyday life. Highly recommend to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature’s beauty.

Great value for a family place to stay, in a cute small town. Could probably sleep at least 6-8 people if needed, and quiet at night.

Our group loved our stay here, was so lovely to relax in a lovely home after a busy time exploring Timaru. Plenty of space for a big group. Thank you for having us!
