We loved our short stay at this beautiful lakefront vacation home. It was quiet and peaceful, and it has a lovely scenic view of the lake as soon as you drive up. It definitely exceeded our expectations. We would gladly stay here again.

Rachel‘s adventure cottage was the best place for a Valentines getaway! It was peaceful, it was private, and had great hiking opportunities. The hot tub at the end of the day was definitely the cherry on top. One thing to be wary of is coming during the rainy season. We came during late winter so as the snow was melting it was also raining which flooded the incoming roads. Regardless of the little hiccup on our trip, we brought enough groceries so we made the most of it!

We had an amazing time at Heather and Scott’s cottage for my sister’s bachelorette weekend! It was the perfect little getaway with everything we needed and more. The cottage was charming and cozy, and the location was ideal with plenty of fun local activities to explore. Heather and Scott were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. We loved every moment and would definitely return! Highly recommend!

Our group loved this stay in Wintergreen! Extremely accessible to the slopes, with multiple amenities included within our airbnb. Plenty of room for everyone, and plenty of supplies from top to bottom - if you forgot something, chances are the house has it! However, we found that the hot tub was not clean prior to our stay, and the bathroom floor heat was unavailable. Overall though, very nice stay and would recommend to others!🙂

I came to this place to celebrate my birthday and I brought my two children and one of their friends. We enjoyed the hot tub and the boys took their bikes out for a little adventure. Eventually, we relaxed to the sound of the creek behind the house and we made a fire in the fire pit by the rock. I was happy with Zeb and Ellen’s responsiveness as it related to communication. Although I experienced a small problem and was unable to communicate with them, I was happy that I was met with an understanding response. I wish Zeb and Ellen all the best!

Very lovely cottage and vacation experience, within walking distance of east coast wings and star bucks. Hot tub and fire pit were lovely additions to the cozy feeling.

Great stay, just what we needed. would recommend coming well equipped, it's remote and not the most well stocked rental.

Fabulous setting with Old World charm! I loved my stay at Rhonda’s villa. Perfect space for me and my pup as I traveled for work. Super comfortable bed, pillows and awesome linens! Rhonda had so many thoughtful touches-special treats for me and my dog. Fresh ground coffee and muffins:-) checked in on Mocha for me during the day-so helpful and friendly and available when I. Needed it! We will be staying as much as possible on future work trips!

We were in the area from 3/15/25 through 3/18/25 for our son and daughter-in-laws baby shower. We were truly blessed to find Tamara and Luis's airbnb!! It is a beautiful, cozy little cottage that has EVERYTHING you need!! Tamara goes above and well beyond in making sure the guests have all of the amenities of home. Oh my, and then there is the homemade banana bread and fresh eggs on the counter to welcome you as you enter.....so delicious and a genuinely special added touch :) We brought our black lab, Storm, and he and Buddy, Tamara and Luis's golden doodle, became fast friends and enjoyed running together in the beautiful open area. The entire property is meticulously maintained, and it is such a peaceful and beautiful getaway. We enjoyed our talks with Tamara and Luis, they are the kindest and most welcoming couple. We felt like family, and we will definitely stay again when in the area to visit our son, daughter-in-law, and grandbabies. You will love your stay here!!

Space space space! We were greeted by half a dozen deer on the expansive lawn when we first arrived 😍 The home is cute and has lots of charm. We enjoyed the open spaces of the living room, kitchen and oversized bedrooms. The bed had comfortable linens and there was extra of everything! The shower had hot water and lots of water pressure (a major plus for me!) and the front porch swing was peaceful and comfortable- a perfect place to spend a slow morning or to settle in at night. The location was super close to downtown and the local Food Lion was literally within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay! The only thing I would warn against, and it is only a negative if you have an allergy to pets, is that the space is pet-friendly so our allergies were flaring up a bit while there. However, you wouldn’t know it was pet-friendly if you didn’t see the pet items and the listing, because it was squeaky clean!

This beautiful cottage was perfect for my 3 gear old son! The walk was casual and the waterfall was very easy to access!

As usual, Cierra's Vintner's House was a warm, cozy, and inviting home for a long weekend. We actually stayed here last year for a horse competition in nearby Lexington. When our daughter qualified again, we immediately looked at each other and said, "Let's book at Ecco Adesso, again!" Immaculately clean and comfortable, decorated with warmth and function, and the most peaceful, picturesque atmosphere makes one feel as if you've landed in a storybook. We will mostly certainly be back. Thanks, Cierra!

It was a restful & relaxing weekend with my family. Beautiful scenery and we enjoyed the lovely & friendly animals to pet each morning. If we need to stay in Bedford again, we will definitely be staying here!

The cottage is adorable and the beds are very comfortable. The extra amenities in the kitchen were appreciated. I fell in love with that sink LOL! The views are breathtaking and the cottage is so peaceful. The local nature trail is closed due to reconstruction fyi

The cottage was adorable! My kids and I stayed while we attended CFAW at Library University. The location was perfect in proximity to the campus! The hostesses were very helpful; from booking the place, all the way to checkout. The cottage was very cozy but had every amenity we needed. It was clean and smelled nice when we arrived. Checking in was a breeze! I would definitely recommend staying at the cottage if you plan to be in the Lynchburg area.

This is our 2nd time staying at Mike's place. The cottage is perfect for our family of 4 (kids are now 4yo and 5yo). It's about a 10min drive to the top of the mountain to snowboard at Wintergreen 🏂 we will def stay here again!

The Maury Treehouse was a dream! The house is spectacular and carefully thought out. The view is worth every penny! To walk outside and immediately hear the sound of the river is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. The owners have done a wonderful job of making this place a true country-side oasis. My personal favorite was the automatic blinds in the master suite. We traveled with our two children over Spring Break, and found pure joy in sitting by the river and fishing, admiring the wildlife, and enjoying the fire pit. We hope to be back in the fall to take in all the pretty colors once the leave change. Thank you for a great stay!

This place is amazing!! Beautiful, relaxing, comfortable, everything you need. A short walk to a convenience store and short drive to amazing restaurants, wineries, etc. Tyler is a very responsive, friendly, and thoughtful host. Highly recommend staying here!!

Meticulous and well-appointed! Really nice place in a semi rural area amongst the Virginia mountains. The home is tastefully decorated, and the hosts are thorough and thoughtful. We enjoyed hiking, and visits to 2 breweries, 2 wineries and a distillery during our 2 day stay. We recommend the Sugah Shack highly!

Karen’s place was really neat to stay in. It was peaceful and quiet and a lovely place to walk our pups and spend time together as a family. The location is really unique and fascinating. It is also an incredible spot to star gaze. We had a lot of fun learning the history of the property and even had a chance to meet Karen and see more of her artwork and tour her studio. She and her husband have built a beautiful little enclave of artists and it was inspiring to speak with her in person and share in the journey and hear about their vision for the property. She truly has such a passion for her craft. I also bought a cute little painting from her that I adore and will treasure. While the accommodations are basic, they meet one’s needs appropriately and provide a convenient place to stay while exploring the Natural Bridge area. We enjoyed several little excursions in the area and are grateful to have stumbled upon this sweet little Airbnb. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

We had a great time exploring Lynchburg!! And it’s just a great place all around to just sit back and relax off grid!Debbie was a great host!! And it’s very private!!!

Anne's place was so welcoming and comfortable. She really has thought of everything! Her amenities list was extensive and so helpful. We were traveling with children, and she had so many comforts of home that made our stay easy. Anne was kind and helpful. The home was clean and tidy. You can hear the creek water running and the frogs singing. Overall, a wonderful experience! Would definitely stay again!
