I’m so incredibly happy with our stay it was the perfect two days of seclusion and relaxation. I was hesitant as I’d seen a past review about privacy not being as stated, but it was perfectly private! Also saw someone say that the balcony gets wet when it rains, it rained the whole time we were there and yes the balcony was wet but being in the bath in the rain was so relaxing!! Will definitely be back Thankyou zoe! X

We enjoyed our stay at this large house due to its quiet location, comfy beds and walking distance into town. We loved having breakfast on the large verandah. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. A visitor booklet provides lots of local recommendations. We'll return next time we're in town.

Best Air bnb we've ever experienced! Unbelievable location First class equipped kitchen ... Amber has literally thought of everything. All the little touches that make it a home away from home! Firstly the layout of the house has been well thought out and suited our party of two families of all ages. Enough space for everyone to spread out but excellent to all gather on the deck or in the huge living area! We just loved it and communication with the host was excellent. Would definitely recommend this property and host to everyone.

Had an absolutely amazing stay. The house was lovely and Mary was very accommodating and great with her communication.

Beautiful little piece of paradise. Short stroll to the lake. Short drive to the town centre. Comfortably housed our little family. It was cold and rainy the whole time but the space provided us with a warm home to come back to. Definitely would stay again.

Kylie is a wonderful host and Melrose House is probably my most favourite airbnb to date. She thought of everything and more! We had a not so great experience with our last host and had to leave, only after 1 night. Kylie was so thoughtful, she gave us an early check in, and then, a 12pm check out! 😀 We refer to Kylie as the Super Duper Host! We also loved Tinaroo 👍🥰

Amazing house that makes you feel at home. We stayed there for a week and immediately booked two other weeks, Ann and Steven were so nice and helpful, and the view is amazing from the terrace. I definitely recommand it!

A fabulous property. Great lounge, modern kitchen, super pool and very comfortable bedrooms. Close into Cairns to drive or Uber. 15 mins from airport. Hosts super responsive and replaced the BBQ with a new one the next day. We had a great week in the house. Highly recommended.

Good location, you can walk to mall in 7 min. A lot of restaurants around the house. You can access to Cairns city by bus and bus stop is also close to the house. Friendly host, she treats the guests well.

Beautiful home, games room was incredible! Host was welcoming and had clear communication. Whole family had very pleasant stay.

The apartment is spotless with massive space to accommodate our big family. Kids loved the swimming pool. Mark is very friendly, responsive and warm hearted. Greatest host I’ve ever had. I will definitely come back if we travel to Carins again.

The Airbnb was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped—perfect for a relaxing stay in Cairns. The host was friendly and responsive, making check-in and communication easy. However, the location wasn’t the most convenient if you’re relying on public transport or want to be in the heart of the city. If you have a car, though, it’s a great base for exploring the area. Overall, a lovely place to stay!

We had an amazing time in Cairns and loved the apartment. We hired a car to get around which was brilliant as there was parking at the apartment. The place was very clean and tidy. Kaizel was very responsive and gave us fresh towels on request, she also let us check in early which really helped us out.

Absolutely amazing! Clean, private, peaceful, but with lots of lovely restaurants and places close by to see and do. Thank you so much to Gina and Emma for your kindness and the easy checkin. Look forward to a longer stay next time.
