Casa Baba de Nopal has warmth, character & is tastefully furnished. We were delighted when we walked in - looked like the photos. Great location and a house with amenities. The terrace was lovely for coffee in the morning and to wind down, hang out & watch the sunset in the evening. Aurora was always responsive, proactive and helped us secure a driver for a day trip and airport drop. The upstairs AC unit needed a battery change for the remote and Aurora came to replace them within a couple of hours. She accommodated a slightly earlier check-in which worked out perfectly for our schedule.

el lugar es tranquilo y cómodo realmente a 20 min del centro de Oaxaca, solo son 100 metros de terracería antes de llegar pero un sedan pasa sin problema la casa es muy grande y alberca privada.

Our stay at this location was phenomenal - I wanted a comfortable place where me and my family can escape the hustle of everyday life and it did not disappoint. The rooms being separated gave us the privacy we needed on our trip while still being able to enjoy the common spaces together. I was traveling with family - and they were completely blown away from the details & artwork of the house. The hosts are very thoughtful and had everything in the house for your stay. As others already mentioned, they had drinks/food available but they also had umbrellas & hats that I presume could have been burrowed when visiting Oaxaca and the surrounding areas. There also was lotion, toothpaste, and other everyday necessities. My family enjoyed watching movies on the projector. They enjoyed the restaurant that just opened that served delicious pizza and pasta. I also did a photo shoot around the house and captured some of the best photos of my trip. You will NOT regret booking this place!!!

We had a great experience staying at Alejandro's house. The home was comfortable and had everything that we needed. The home nicely kept cool during the day. The patio was more beautiful than we expected, and it was a nice place to enjoy. We slept very well. The first night a house alarm went off in the residential neighborhood and the dogs started barking and woke us up. But otherwise, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We liked the location that was very residential, but still allowed us to walk into the Oaxaca City Center easily every day. We like to walk - it's about a 30 minute walk - to get to the center. The Didi taxi was easy and inexpensive to get into town also. Alejandro gave us a great breakfast restaurant recommendation - Grano de Mostaza - that was wonderful and had a full menu of American and Mexican food. Thank you for letting us stay at your place Alejandro.

This place is incredible! Jose was super flexible and was an amazing host. The place is exactly like the photos! I would absolutely book again. I went with my 3 kids and my husband and it was perfect!

Very charming property on the edge of the Centro- about a 15 minute walk to the Zocalo. The property is several townhouses around a very large and pretty landscaped courtyard. I didn't end up staying in this particular unit, but another unit on the property. The overall property was clean and tidy, very nicely appointed, in a wonderful and quiet residential area near a major grocery store. Hosts were so hospitable, and I felt very safe and looked after during my stay! Highly recommend!

We were really impressed with the apartment, especially the views. We loved the location and spent Christmas as a family enjoying superb Oaxacan vistas and walking into and the city every day. It’s a steep uphill walk back, but well worth it. Our family loves to self-cater and cook when we’re in Airbnbs, and while the apartment didn’t have everything we needed, Emily was very responsive and helpful in trying to source kitchen items. The apartment is spacious and the view is truly stunning.

Este alojamiento fue una experiencia agradable para mí y mi familia: el lugar es tal cual en las fotos, lleno de detalles que te hacen sentir como en casa; además, Margarita la anfitriona es muy amable y atenta, lo cual le da un plus. El lugar está lo suficientemente lejano del bullicio, pero con muy buena ubicación para llegar al centro de Oaxaca caminando y disfrutar de sus calles coloridas en el recorrido. Recomiendo este alojamiento ya que sin duda me volvería a hospedar aquí.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Victors place was even better than the photos. It was very clean and the layout was perfect and had a lot of natural light. The rooftop patio has really lovely views of the city as well. There is also drinking water on site which is a great touch. The space is very well cared for and we loved the built in cabinets. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you may need for your stay, although we didn't use it much as there are so many amazing restaurants and coffee shops near by. The area is very safe and not noisy. Victor was great to communicate with, very responsive, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Gracias Victor!

EN: We had a wonderful stay in Oaxaca at Clemencia's house which was clean, tidy, with traditional Oaxacan themes. The location is lovely, calm with straightforward walking access to the center. Even when the street location does not show correctly on Google Maps, it is quite straightforward to find the house through the instructions and photos. There is a plenty of cookware, utensils - it felt like home and lady Clemencia was in person very attentive ES: Tuvimos una estancia bonita en Oaxaca en la casa de Clemencia, que estaba limpia, ordenada y con temas tradicionales oaxaqueños. La zona es encantadora, tranquila y con un acceso sencillo al centro caminando. Incluso cuando la ubicación de la calle no se muestra correctamente en Google Maps, es bastante sencillo encontrar la casa a través de las instrucciones y fotos. Hay una gran cantidad de utensilios de cocina, nos sentimos como en casa y la señora Clemencia fue muy atenta en persona.

had a great time, the apartment is simple, quite, clean and cozy. Chayo was very informative and easy to contact with. the location is super central, I loved all the cute streets in that neighborhood. I would definitely go back.

Paulina’s place was in a great location. Walkable to restaurants and bars. The house was clean and had plenty of amenities. Paulina was a great host and referred us to a driver named Hector who was able to drive us to nearby towns for shopping. Highly recommend if you’re staying in Oaxaca.

el lugar es como se describe, bien ubicado, limpio, Edith es u muy atenta y esta pendiente de lo que necesitábamos y además nos hizo excelentes recomendaciones para conocer lugares en la Ciudad, tiene un jardín muy bonito y la estancia es un lugar acogedor, me volvería a hospedar en este lugar nuevamente!

Rene was awesome! He was super responsive when I needed help with the apt or his reference while renting a bike. The apt is smaller than how the photos show but just enough for one or two people. Enjoy Oaxaca, the magical city!

For those that only read the first line of reviews , simply put we found this home perfect. Now if you are still reading we will tell you that the attention we received from our host was top notch. Constanza and Clara communicated through the app so well . When we wanted a more personal communication they meet us face to face. . We learned so much about the culture of the city and some spots we would never of found in a guide book or google searches. The home itself was as described and the plants throughout the courtyard were beautiful and soothing. Picking this location for your trip is something you will not regret

This accommodation. is top shelf, and Eden is a super hostess. I would recommend this location to everyone. San Felipe del Agua is out of the busyness and noise of Oaxaca Centro, and it is easily accessible by car, cab or bus (bus is close by 10 pesos one way). Eden is communicative and responds immediately to questions and requests. Cafe Gos has superb coffee and sandwiches, and there are many good restaurants in the area. Panoramic view from the deck on the rooftop. Clean. Hot water for showers. Solar heating. We stayed here 13 days and thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you Eden.

We enjoyed our month stay at Andre’s…it was a peaceful & pleasant location…the place was clean & very well organized…we took cabs & buses to the historic center about 25 minute journey to the zocalo…there are many shops & restaurants in walking distance…thanks for providing a great place…we especially enjoyed winding down, enjoying the view from the upstairs terrace 😊

The good: clean, good location, responsive, great to have a small, well-equipped kitchen. The bad: as they warned-many tall stairs, stairs appearing in very unusual places, -dogs barking at night, -occasionally noisy neighbors who left outdoor lights on that shined into the bedroom. Pool was pleasant until water got so cloudy it was unusable

We absolutely loved staying at the apartment. The neighbourhood was a great mix of local flavour and feel (shops, market, neighbours, yes including the dogs) and specialty bakery, cafes and restaurants. It was an easy 20-25 min walk downhill to Santo Domingo/the north part of the historical centre, where you can get good coffee at Mundo cafe, a torta at Torta Hormiga or sit in one of the very green squares. The walk uphill can feel challenging in the heat, especially after a couple of days, but we felt the privacy, view, the apartment itself and the terrace was unparalleled. The apartment came with free filtered water, shampoo, soap, work desk and chair, fully equipped kitchen and cooking necessities (oil, salt etc), which I really appreciated. Leonila was friendly, always responsive and when she couldn’t meet us, her husband came to hand us the keys. We are super grateful & we have fond memories of our stay in Oaxaca!

La ubicación 10 de 10, todo está a menos de 20 minutos caminando. Tienes todo a la mano, ya sea farmacias, bancos, mercado, buffets, cafeterías, locales de ropa y más. Cualquier necesidad que tuvimos, la podíamos atender en la zona. El espacio fue suficiente y perfecto para nuestra estancia de 4 días. El Internet funcionó a la perfección. Me sentía en casa ya que entrábamos y salíamos a cualquier hora y no nos faltó ninguna amenidad.
