Out familybof four spent 6 days at Anna and Al's place. It was clean, tidy and well supplied with everything we needed. Good wifi and decent sized TV as well. A minor issue with how the shower worked was promptly attended to, and in person, which was appreciated. The apartment is ideally located, close enough to walk to town from, yet far enough away to be nice and quiet. For us..perfect. One observation, on foot the gradient back to the apartment from town is steep if you take the sortest route, but hey. You are in the Highlands :-). I will book this apartment again when we come back to the Highlands, to explore some of the islands. Thanks to our hosts.

Lovely clean place to stay, really comfortable and clean

John was a very helpful host and has a wonderful home in Southern Skye. His instructions were easy to follow. As soon as we got inside the house we felt right at home. The house is stocked with alp the essentials for cooking and cleaning!

Lynn is an excellent host and was very helpful throughout. Aros is a beautiful home in a great location. It has a welcoming feel as soon as you enter. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need with complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms are spacious, beds extremely comfortable, plenty of space for the family to relax. We were lucky enough to be visited by a deer in the garden the first morning. What could be better.

Had a great time staying with friends, two dogs and a 1year old. Everything was as you see in the photos. The two bathrooms were particularly generous, the apartment nice and warm and the garden perfect for the dogs to run about in.

Aeleen’s place was amazing! It had a beautiful country charm, was well maintained, and worked great for eight people! She was very easy to work with, would recommend to anyone who asked.

The perfect place with the perfect hosts! Anna and Sean went above and beyond to make our stay truly exceptional. Communication was seamless and clear from start to finish. Their home is not only beautifully maintained but also thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need—and more. The upstairs shower was a standout feature, and comfortable space to accommodate all seven of us, plus our dog. It felt like a home away from home. I recently enjoyed a weekend stay at Nicola’s caravan in Wemyss Bay with my partner, Lisa, and our dogs. Despite the rainy weather throughout our visit, we made the most of our time and had a fantastic experience. Nicola was incredibly helpful and engaging from the start, ensuring a smooth booking process and providing all necessary information. Upon arrival, we found the caravan spotless and well-maintained, offering a cozy retreat from the rain. Its excellent location provided easy access to local attractions and scenic spots, which we and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed exploring, rain or shine. I highly recommend Nicola’s caravan to anyone seeking a comfortable and welcoming getaway in Wemyss Bay. We will definitely be returning for another stay in the future. 

Beautiful house with spectacular views & great walking & hiking. The house is unpretentious, warm & comfortable offering old world charm & comfort. Our party ranged from 3-63 and everyone found a corner of the house that suited them with loads of board games, table tennis & the billiard room was a great hit with everyone. The kitchen is well equipped & has everything you need for feeding a large party of people. I would definitely recommend this property & would love to return in the future.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at no 1 Eaglecroft lodge , it’s cosy relaxed and beautiful style was a true home from home , everything was just perfect , more than we expected, and we enjoyed every single day , we would love to return in the very near future , as we know and love the area so well , and we are already planning and looking forward to coming back to the perfect cosy retreat, peaceful and simply perfection , just what we needed , thank you .

Extremely peaceful and beautiful location, 30 mins from Oban. Magic views from the living room (lake, mountains, sheep everywhere). A lot of space for 4 adults + 2 kids in the house. A lot of facilities near the house including swimming pool. Clean and comfortable beds. Moved two single beds and provided baby cot as we requested. It was a bit difficult to find the house as we arrived late at night but no big deal. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Andrew and Mary's lodge in Wemyss Bay Caravan Park over the Christmas period. The hosts were welcoming and took the time to explain all aspects of the lodge and its facilities upon our arrival, which was much appreciated. The lodge was spotless, modern, and beautifully decorated, with comfortable seating and a great table for our Christmas Dinner which made it feel like a true home away from home. It was warm and exactly as described on Airbnb. The location was perfect for a peaceful family getaway, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a cosy and well-appointed retreat!

Our stay in Wemyss Bay has been superb, right from the booking stage of our stay, Fiona has been brilliant in her communication. The cabin is of a luxury finish, and was completly spotless. The views were stunning. During our stay Fiona was quick to respond to any queries and gave us some great suggestions. This really is one of those places where the pictures match the reality. We would definatley book again

Host very helpfull with any questions. Caravan spotless, everything we needed was in the caravan. Bar/restaurant nice, staff pleasant/friendly. Had a few good walks with dog, anywhere we when was dog friendly, like bars, cafes ect. Took the ferry for a day trip, good we day out. Pub in skelmorlie friendly, had a live band on on the sunday afternoon around 5ish. All in all a good we break

Beautiful and homely cottage in a stunning setting. We saw highland cows, seals, hares and of course sheep, practically right on the doorstep. So quiet and peaceful, with amazing views at all times of day/ no matter the weather. Cally was an amazing host and always very helpful and easy to talk to. We loved meeting her dogs too!

A great cabin in a wonderfull location, surrounded by mountains. Totally peaceful with breathtaking views across to the sea in the distance. Cabin is snug and warm, really comfortable and a great place to relax after exploring the local area. Karen is an excellent host- responding quickly to any query. Thoroughly recommend this cabin.

Great accommodation in a beautiful location, perfect for dogs with enclosed garden space as well as endless walk possibilities around the site, games room was a bonus on a rainy day. I would highly recommend staying here, we certainly plan to visit again.

Well, I've driven past on this road hundreds of times on my way further North and not noticed this place. How glad I am now that I have. It is just brilliant. The cabin was super cosy, lots of attention to detail and spacious. The bed was extremely comfy and although it's not far from the road, it really felt like you were away from it all. It's such a beautiful area and I highly recommend it. I also got such a warm welcome. 10/10!!!

The Snug was a wonderful place to stay. It was very comfortable, warm and cosy, with lots of lovely touches - the electric blankets were particularly appreciated! The kitchen is good for simple meals and the bathroom was enormous. It was very peaceful and the location was beautiful, with lovely walks nearby and beautiful landscapes in every direction. Beautiful property in amazing surroundings. Anything you could wish for this property has covered. All the small details have been thought of and more. If you wanted a dream home looking upon the mountains in the UK this would be it. Highly recommended.
