Tohmajärvi : locations de vacances adaptées aux familles

A few friends and I wanted to get away for the weekend, and Harri’s spot in Savonranta looked amazing. Remote, quite, and full of amenities, this place was a bang for my buck. Remember to bring your bedsheets if you book this place. Only small negative is that this place is nearby Savonranta and not Savonlinna, so if you’re trying to check that city out, keep in mind that the cottage is over 50 km away. Other than that, would highly recommend this stay.

If you're out for modern pampering, this is not for you.But if you want ti be alone by the lake, without a shower and regular toilet, but wit a row boat, wood fired sauna and hot tub, compost toilets (but also electricity, full kitchen, cellular coverage and tv) and most if all the amazing beauty around (incl. mosquitoes) memorable, then definitely go fir it. we had a wonderful time.

The room was better than I expected, quite large, we had our own entrance and could park the car in front of it. Toilet was clean but a bit dated. The room had a bunk bed which wasn’t shown in the picture or listed in text. It was fine for us but could be a problem for people with limited mobility. Breakfast was quite basic but nice. I would appreciate if fresh fruit were added though. The place was almost empty which is probably bad for business but was awesome for us. We had a whole empty spa for ourselves :) Checking in and out was seamless and pleasant. We got to keep our room for couple of hours over check out time without any fee.

Okolité prostredie bolo veľmi pekné a pokojné. Voda čistá, priehľadná. Na rybárčenie je miestna voda špecifiká a náročná. Pláž pred chatou s plytkou vodou aj s kamenným mólom, ponúkala pekný výhľad na okolitú vodu. Hostiteľ nám dal k dispozícii aj dve lodky. Pred plážou sa nachádza sauna vykurovaná drevom. Bola síce kúsok staršia ale funkčná. Ďalšia menšia sauna sa nachádza vo vnútri zrubu spolu aj so sprchou. V chate nám chýbalo lepšie svetlo. Vo večerných hodinách tam bolo na náš vkus až moc veľké prítmie. Ináč sme s vybavením chaty spokojní a výlet sme si užili.

We loved this place! It’s a family run site with a few holiday cabins, all very privately located by the lake, with lots of green around. The water is shallow going into the lake, which makes it perfect for kids. It’s clear that they have been running this for a long time and know exactly what you need for a nice nature holiday by the lake: lots of fire wood, a rowing boat, life vests, a sauna and a simple but complete small kitchen. To us it felt very remote, we were there almost on our own, giving us the feeling we had the lake to ourselves, but that’s probably because the Finnish summer holiday had just ended. We found chanterelles and many blueberries, and couldn’t get enough of the view over the lake. Recommended!

Rauhallista maalaistalon tunnelmaa etsivälle erinomainen kohde. Monipuolinen varustelu, rantasauna, luonto, kalaisa puhdasvetinen lampi ja marjaisa metsä... Isäntä oli lomalla, mutta viestintä ja ohjeistus oli esimerkillistä. Vahva suositus myös kissaltamme :-)

The villa and the surroundings are very beautiful. We much enjoyed our stay in the villa and the peacefulness and beauty of the whole area. If you have a chance to stay in this place, don’t hesitate. The hosts were very helpful and friendly.

Ein Traumort. Ich kam mir eine Woche lang vor wie auf einer eigenen Insel. Vesa und sein Vater waren mega hilfsbereit und gleichzeitig zurück haltend. Ich werde definitiv gerne wieder kommen. Danke für Alles Hannes

Hyvä moderni mökki rauhallisella sijainnilla, sopivan matkan päässä Savonlinnasta ja muista lähialueen nähtävyyksistä. Viihdyimme kohteessa mukavasti kaksi yötä. Mökin löytämisessä oli haasteita, kuten aiemmin kommenteissa mainittiin. Majoittajalta saa kuitenkin mökkinumeron ja alueen respan lähellä on mökkikartta, josta sijainnin voi katsoa. Viestintä omistajan kanssa onnistuu hyvin.

Lots of space by the water for our family of 5 and more. We especially love the row boats that were provided for fishing and just hanging out by the water. It was practical, simple and nostalgic that we get to sleep in a school. Kids adored the retired school gym and toys. Love line drying for laundry and just roaming around. Bring a lot of mosquito repellant and your own food to cook in the super well equipped kitchen. Tatiana is a very lovely and helpful host who brought us blueberries and strawberries. This place is a rare gem 🖤

Excellent séjour chez Pasi. Hôte accueillant. Environnement magnifique. Logement excellent dans lequel nous avons passé un très bon moment.

posto tranquillo sono 3 cottages distanti qualche decina di metri uno dall altro in zona isolata con accesso al piccolo ma pescoso lago circondato da boschi. vicino al magnifico esker di punkaharju e comodo ( circa 1h di auto) da parchi come kolovesi e linnansaari. circa 1 ora da aeroporto di laappenranta. Valentin il gestore gentilissimo e disponibilissimo. consigliato.

ДОРОГА. От СПБ – 300 км, через Светогорск. От дома 12 км до гипермаркета Prisma, 16 км до крепости Олавинлинна в Савонлинне, до крупнейшей в мире деревянной церкви в Керимяки - 20 км туда и обратно (до церкви ходил пешком, минус у такого мероприятия в том, что процентов 60 пути проходит вдоль обочины трассы). ДОМ. Повезло жить в этом доме целый месяц в период введения карантинных мероприятий, в марте 2020, на территории гольф клуба в окружении бескрайних полей, хвойных деревьев и озер. Терраса дома выходит на лес и складывается впечатление, что вокруг никого нет. В моем случае это было действительно так, не встретил ни одного человека к концу марта: интересные впечатления, сотканные из уединения, звуков ветра, шума деревьев и пения птиц. Обстановка дома светлая, просторная, большие окна на первом этаже, в кухне есть все необходимое: холодильник, посудомоечная машина, плита, микроволновка, тостер, кофеварка, вся посуда и столовые приборы, вода чистая (дополнительно из фильтра), большой деревянный стол и много стульев. В гостиной диваны и телевизор, новая стиральная машина под лестницей, в спальне две небольшие кровати и дополнительные спальные места на втором этаже. В доме есть компактная сауна; вода и холодная и горячая без единого перебоя с температурой или напором. На террасе - садовая мебель и угольный гриль. Все, что касается бытовых условий, нареканий не вызывает и соответствует ожиданиям от загородного дома финского формата. ТЕРРИТОРИЯ. Метров 200 от дома до озера, на берегу которого небольшая детская площадка, волейбольная сетка, качели, лодки и беседки для гриля. Летом, вероятно, на территории многолюдно, рыбалка (по лицензии), велосипедные прогулки, шашлыки, прокат различного инвентаря и прочие радости. Если проехать минут 5 на машине или пройтись пешком, можно обнаружить ресепшн гольф-клуба и небольшой ресторан, но опыта взаимодействия с этими объектами не имею. ХОЗЯИН ДОМА. С Павлом держали связь по переписке, дом к приезду подготовила управляющая компания, было чисто и тепло. На все вопросы Павел отвечал оперативно и подробно, хотя процесс заезда и выезда организован таким образом, что не возникает никаких срочных вопросов, все понятно и просто. Это бронирование было в моем опыте первым через airbnb, до этого много лет пользовался в путешествиях исключительно букингом. Я остался доволен этим опытом, прежде всего благодаря уютному дому, а также вежливости и тактичности его хозяина. Спасибо еще раз Павлу, а всем будущим гостям дома - пожелания приятного отдыха!

I went here with 10 friends for midsommar! it was really peaceful and beautiful.

Great authentic summer cottage experience! The cottage is very comfortable and the host is very friendly and helpful. The location is great as the surrounding forest grants privacy and quietness. The sandy beaches are great for children learning to swim. The water in the lake is surprisingly clear. The deck and terrace are perfect to enjoy the lake views. One even has some sight to the lake from every window of the cottage. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

I had the most lovely few days at the White House in Parikkala. David is an extremely kind, helpful and attentive host, who ferried me to and from the station, was always on hand to help with any questions I had and even rescued me when I got stranded out on the lake in his boat! The house is spacious, very comfortable and well kept, and the area is full of exciting things to explore for anyone who loves nature! I would highly recommend a stay here.
