Tim's place is beautiful and great for a family or a small group of friends. the views are breathtaking and aside from 1 neighbour(who was not there the whole time) it is a very private location. the place was spotless clean when we arrived!! we had some issues with sleeping arrangements as we got extremely unlucky with the weather while we stayed and were hit with cold fronts and rain. Was way too cold to sleep in the bunkie and unfortunatley there is no heating in there. I would say 6 people max to reach max comfortability in this cottage. We will definitely be back here with a smaller group and no baby!

Great stay! Im obsessed with this cottage, amazing location and the hot tub was such a treat! Our only issue was that it was a little hard to get up the hill in our truck because the cottage is down a hill, but that’s not the hosts fault at all since it is the middle of the winter and a recent storm! Ha Ha! Overall fantastic stay would recommend for any season winter or summer

Our family and dog had a great Christmas time at Blake’s place. Right on the lake and within walking distance to the town of Westport. Cottage was fully stocked and comfortable for the family of 4. Kids enjoyed ice fishing and star gazing. Blake and Lizzie were wonderful hosts and very responsive.

Great townhouse beside the ski hill, it was only a 5 minute drive to Calabogie Peaks, We really enjoyed the fireplace. The host was very quick to respond.

We kayaked and canoed around the lake several times, enjoying the wildlife—turtles, herons, ducks, loons, and frogs. The fire pit was perfectly placed for sunset views, with plenty of kindling and wood. The BBQ worked great, and Verona offered everything we needed, including good food at Muddy Waters Restaurant and treats at a local bakery and Kawartha ice cream shop. The fall colors were stunning throughout our stay. Highly recommend this cottage for a peaceful, well-equipped getaway!"

We loved staying in this perfectly located, tastefully decorated, well-appointed home. Everything is well done from the comfortable beds and soft linens in the bedrooms to the colorful pillows and throws on the front porch.

A beautiful retreat getaway for a small family. It really feels like home, all amenities needed are available to use. We will definitely come back for summer.

Our second stay proved this is a great four season space! We walked to the cross country ski trails and the ski village and had plenty of fun in the snow. The place is perfect for us and our dog for fun and relaxation. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time at the Heron House. The enclosed sun porch was the perfect place to read and watch the snow fall. The house is beautifully decorated and appointed. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. Everything with the renovation was very well thought out and tastefully done. The kitchen was roomy and had everything we needed to make great meals. The high-end appliances were definitely a treat. I would highly recommend the Heron House, and can't wait to stay again.
