Wow! The photos were gorgeous but when you step inside, this place is spectacular. It was hard to decide where to relax…..in front of the huge statement fireplace in the coziest of chairs……in the loft with games and tv……around the fire pit outside with cool lighting and blooming plants all around…..or maybe if you love to mess around in a kitchen, you opt for the amazing cooking space equipped with everything you could want. We managed to enjoy it all. You will too! We used this fabulous home as a base camp for exploring Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens. Next time we will bring bikes and take advantage of the great bike trail system located a stone’s throw from the front door. Finally, thanks to Chris and Ben for welcoming dogs with a self-filling water bowl! We loved it here.

Beautiful wooded property, quiet, creek running through. It’s like a bunny sanctuary, which we thought was great. The cabin was cozy and nice, very clean. TV worked fine but WiFi signal was very weak. Just makes you get off your phone and enjoy nature! Also, as others reviews say, this campground has a lot of rules that are strictly enforced. However they are clearly communicated in advance. Just follow the rules and don’t expect any exceptions and you’ll have a great stay. I would stay here again.

What a peaceful and clean home. The entire process was easy and good communication. The home is close(walking distance) to Mayfeild Lake boat ramp and park however, there is no sidewalk. The main road did not seem too busy(only one car passed us) so it was not a big deal but, I don’t think I would have chanced it with toddlers. We did come home the first night to a herd of deers, they were surrounding the house. It was pretty cool! The windows throughout the house have no screens. It did not bother us at all but, it could be interesting during those “buggy” months. The bathroom was fully stocked, even included cotton pads(much appreciated). Kitchen was fully stocked even had a waffle maker and a Pac-Man arcade machine. So fun!! We would easily book this again for a nice little peaceful getaway.

This cottage was clean, safe, and just as pictured. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc and there was also a vacuum and mop for any spills. It was such a relief to be in a pet friendly space where my dog had the option to go out in a fenced yard (small, but still great). The neighborhood was calm and quiet and only ~20 mins from Olympia and ~50 mins from Tacoma. Thank you for a great stay, Shannon!

John’s place is one of our favorite AirBNB’s that we’ve stayed in. It was very well laid out for the small space. Perfect for 2 people and just what we were looking for during our quick getaway. The hot tub and sauna were both very clean and made for such a relaxing experience. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We had a chance to meet John and his dog who were both very friendly and John gave us some great food cart recommendations. 10/10 would definitely recommend

Another wonderful stay! We love the peaceful atmosphere and enjoyed laughs by the campfire. We successfully made homemade pizza in the outdoor pizza oven - such a fun and delicious experience!

David was a great host, and his home is amazing! Very peaceful and close to a lot of great outdoor activities.

This is a beautiful place! The area is peaceful and well maintained. It was cozy and nicely furnished. The beds are very comfortable. Nicole did a wonderful job stocking the basics ++. Loved the restaurant recommendations. Ate breakfast in Mossy Rock and had a family dinner at The Great China Wall. Excellent 4 night stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay with a beautiful view of Mt. Rainier, strolls down a farm road where we enjoyed the dogs, cats, horses, and llamas and cows in the forest setting. The wood stove was great for ambience. The hosts on the farm gave us the privacy we needed while also inviting us to tour the horse barn and walk to the lake. Very friendly and relaxed. Will definitely return!
