The place is great, the space is wonderful, the beds are super comfortable to rest in, all the spaces are very spacious, everything we needed we could get there in the house, each and every one of the 14 people who were there were very happy and satisfied with their stay there. We would come back!!

It's hard to find Airbnbs that can accommodate several people in central CT. Luckily, Caroline's listing came to the rescue! Good location in a quiet Manchester suburb, close to Main Street. Nice Ikea dishware, spacious fridge. Parking (no garage), was ample. The upstairs area has low ceilings, but the beds were fine. The main living room area was cozy and full of CT-related board games and books, and several candles. The dining table gets the job done, though we threw some pillows on the dining chairs to maximize comfort. Also, the listing clearly states this, but keep in mind that there is only one bathroom. Caroline was a great communicator. All questions were promptly answered. She also extended a complementary extended checkout, which came in handy.

I appreciated all the snacks and drinks that were included. Bathroom was stocked with everything you'd need and there was detergent for the washer too

The house and location was perfect for all of us (6 adults). The wooded location was very private and the home was very spacious. Communication with the owner was clear and very responsive.

We had a family gathering at Emma's place (Tranquil Forest Haven). Everyone loved it. The house is architecturally unusual in a good way, with an enormous amount of common area for a 4-bedroom home. The kitchen is large enough for several cooks to be working at once and there are two large and one smaller common areas that flow together. The living/dining room has a cathedral ceiling in the sitting area and a lower, flat ceiling in the dining area. The acoustics were great. Even with multiple conversations going everyone could hear each other without shouting. So many homes and other gathering places have bad acoustics for gatherings, so this was a welcome relief from that problem, especially appreciated by the many people in our family who are older, with hearing loss. We had a nice walk around the nearby town pond, next to the school . It is wooded and tranquil, with geese. (The beach is closed due to bacteria. ) We enjoyed the fire in the wood stove.

The home exceeded our expectations! We had a long drive from (Pennsylvania to Massachusetts) and were able to find the home and make a nice dinner soon after arrival. The beds were comfortable and we slept well, making our next day so much more pleasant. The location is quiet and private, and the home itself is beautiful. I would love to stay there again when we make another journey in the future. Martin was always helpful and available.

Our stay was exactly what we needed during a difficult time. The property was just as described, and it provided all the comforts of home. It was a peaceful and welcoming space, which helped our family feel at ease while we were in town for a funeral. The amenities were perfect, and everything was well-equipped for our needs. We truly appreciated the thoughtfulness of the host and how comfortable the space made us feel during this challenging time. Highly recommend for anyone in need of a cozy and convenient place to stay.

This was our third visit to Christina’s place — it’s an absolute gem! We honestly can’t think of anything more she could do to make it cozier or more perfect! Easy to find, easy to check in and the pictures are 100% accurate. A darling little studio apartment that is completely spotless, has everything you could possibly need and best of all — has a wood burning stove just feet from the bed! We love it, and we’ll definitely be back 🙂

Donna is a warm and friendly host, and provided all the settling-in information we needed. Her apartment rental is roomy and well-equipped. It's also well-situated for exploring all that the five-colleges area has to offer, and Florence is a very walkable town. We were very comfortable in the apartment — felt at home and enjoyed ourselves greatly!

This was a gorgeous place to stay, Laura and Josh are super responsive and lovely to stay with.

My wife and I absolutely loved this cottage. It far exceeded our expectations. I felt so much at home, I almost went out and picked up the mail!There were so many supplies in the kitchen, a thoughtfully laid out living room and bedroom, a heavenly soaking tub in the bathroom, and serene surroundings. Everything was thought of from tasteful decor to plenty of firewood for the wood-burning fireplace and even an unopened toothbrush and other toiletries in the bathroom (including 2-ply!! ) It raised my standard for future rentals. We are lucky enough to travel several times a year. When we do, we almost exclusively stay at Airbnb‘s. This one was by far the most comfortable we’ve stayed at in many years. A fantastic find!! Place was exactly what I was looking for!!

We stayed during fall and were able to take advantage of the fire pit. There was plenty of kindling to gather nearby and the fire under the stars was very peaceful. It was starting to get chilly during our stay and the log space heater was a very nice touch. Guest book includes a number of helpful recommendations for restaurants and activities. A lot of small extra touches made our stay very comfortable. We would recommend for anyone wanting a more rural feel away from the other tourists while exploring mystic.

Great place to stay for my husband, son and I while he competed at a climbing competition a few minutes away. Having restaurants and Whole Foods nearby as well as easy streets to run and walk on was great. Place was cozy and we slept well. Thanks!

We had another lovely stay with Xianxiu. This is our favorite place to stay when travelling to Northampton to visit our daughter at Smith College. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay!! The lock was stuck upon check-in but the host called us (it was the middle of the night) and walked us through getting it open. She was so friendly and helpful! The place itself was perfect. Great kitchen, sleeping areas, clean and wonderfully decorated. Even with the lock issue, this was a 5 star stay and we have absolutely no complaints. We had 3 people and we felt like we had plenty of room. It’s also right down the street from the Mohegan Sun!!! So perfect place to stay if you want to visit the resort. You can’t get a better location. Also very quiet area.

Ada's place was cozy and very comfy, especially the bed! The location was perfect for a concert at Mohegan Sun casino. We highly recommend it!

Paul’s place had the style of grand old home but it didn’t feel old: everything worked as it should, the kitchen and baths were updated and gorgeous. Amazing. We visited with family over 3 days and it was a fantastic, comfortable place to be together. Paul was gracious and helpful. Furniture and beds were of high quality and comfy. The grand piano in the living room was an extraordinary instrument and very much in tune - it was played for hours. All the guests gushed about the place, several saying it felt like a classic movie set. Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed it. We very highly recommend

We got married at a venue about 15 minutes away so we stayed here with our bridal party and the size was perfect. Everyone slept comfortably, we still had plenty of space. The neighborhood is quiet and the location is still close enough for us to enjoy exploring Sturbridge. Michael was responsive and honest with any question I asked!

was a very cute place. well maintined and clean. originally i booked it for the pool, but the pool was closed. but it was so quiet and peaceful, it was still enjoyable.

Katie’s home was beautiful, immaculately kept and exactly as photographed and described. We rented the home for a family reunion and needed all 8 of the bedrooms that were available. Even though we were a very large group with many kids ages 10 and under, we never felt uncomfortable or on top of each other. The two living rooms and outdoor space made it so that we all could spread out but still spend time together. The large dining room table fit our family perfectly! Katie was responsive, thoughtful and so very kind! We are looking forward to our next stay at Katie’s beautiful home!
