We have family in Coventry and this was close to them and right at the lake. We were only there a couple days so didn't get to enjoy the lake very much since we were at a wedding and stuff but it was a nice view and quiet. The house was very clean and the teens had fun playing games and enjoyed the little chipmunk family out back. We'll definitely stay again if it's available when we visit.

Our stay at Vanessa's house was tranquil and picturesque. The washing machine broke down a few days before our arrival, but Vanessa remained on top of it, and made sure it was in working order before we checked in, which we appreciated tremendously. We couldn't beat the view of the water and only wish it had been a bit warmer so that we could have appreciated the gorgeous back porch area. Thank you, Vanessa!

I came here in the dead of winter for a writer's retreat with a fellow writer- AND I WOULD DO IT AGAIN! It was a beautiful and inspiring place to write. Perched on Andover Lake, it was too cold to frolic outside but that was actually liberating. There was a rocking chair-ottoman combo in the master bedroom looking out on the lake and watching it freeze while I worked on some writing was so peaceful and perfect. When I needed to switch it up, there was a writer's desk with the same view and I can not overstate how nice and productive it was to work from it. I am sure in the summer it's a really fun stay (there were kayaks and a dock for swimming) but I actually loved being isolated in such an idyllic place. It's near a few other homes but the road was low traffic enough for a cold weather run around half the lake. Marcie was super helpful with suggestions for places to eat. We didn't actually use the recs - but that only speaks to how nice the house was and how hard it was to leave!

The Nest is a lovely place with a cozy feel and nice views of the lake.

Marian’s property was extremely well-appointed, comfortable, peaceful, and exactly what I was looking for in a winter getaway . The space kept us entertained and allowed us to create great holiday memories. The kitchen, bathroom, and every space in this home was absolutely spotless. The home was well-appointed with high-quality cooking utensils, pots, and pans. There were plenty of towels, bathroom essentials, and the toys for the kids were an absolute plus. Finally, the view and the tranquility associated with the lake was great. Fire pit outside and fireplace inside allowed for the family to congregate comfortably and create wonderful memories. We can’t wait to stay here again!

I appreciated all the snacks and drinks that were included. Bathroom was stocked with everything you'd need and there was detergent for the washer too

My adult children stayed in Thomas's cottage and it worked out great for us. It was close to our main house and there was plenty of room for them. Unfortunately our stay was in the winter so we couldn't take advantage of the lake area, which is a beautiful area. The house had everything that we needed and we would definitely come back again. Thank you Thomas.

I highly recommend this property. It was perfect for our Christmas visit with family. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay in East Hampton. We will be back!

We had a great stay! This home is clean and well equipped. We felt right at home. The lake view was beautiful and we especially loved waking up and looking right out at the serene and peaceful setting. We barely knew anyone was above us with the exception of very occasionally hearing quiet footsteps. Kevin is a wonderful host! Thank you for our stay and we hope to stay again!

This was our 2nd stay at Andrea’s place. Very peaceful and convenient location for our visits to Connecticut. We come to visit family but the small river towns like Deep River offer much to do and excellent restaurants to boot. We highly recommend Andreas property!

Margie’s place is an amazing hidden gem. The inside is very clean and comfortable. The outside is an experience of its own. The lake will drop your blood pressure immediately. Gorgeous surroundings. The dogs are friendly and lovable. We will be back! 👍🏼

We stayed here for 2 nights with our dog so we could attend the UConn WBB final home game at Gampel. It was the perfect location for what we had planned and what we needed for a weekend. Check in was a breeze, the Airbnb was super clean. Communication was great and we would definitely stay here again for future UConn games.

We had a grate time at Denys lots of room for us all we. Had a large group we love. All the wood work on the main floor just lovely thank for allowing us to have extended stay that was soooooo convenient for us. Not many Airbnb offers it.😌 again thanks and much blessings 🙏

My stay was AMAZING! You can really see and feel how the host took time to make the home cozy and beautifully detailed. It was mind blowing to see how every part of the home was utilized without feeling cramped or cluttered. Definitely a great place for friends to come together. I was shocked to see how well the entire home was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The host provided superb comfort and convenience. Pictures do no justice for this zen home, you have to experience it in person. If you’re looking for a tranquil and beautiful place to visit; LOOK NO FURTHER!

The house was comfy. Great places to eat within walking distance. The view, absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for a place to get away and relax, this is the place.

We have one of our best Airbnb experiences at MJ & Paul's lake house. It's perfect for a family of four like us and worth staying here for a week or longer in the summertime. Our eight-year-old twins never get bored because they can play kayak, canoe, river tube, sup, water guns, swim, and chase minnows daily. MJ and Paul are super friendly and easy to communicate with; they provide everything we need in the house, including the plenty sizes of the life jackets. The grill, two kayaks, a canoe, river tubes, and a standing board are a huge plus. The sunrise is stunning if you can wake up early. The house is less than 2.5 hour drive from New York City. We visited the Hidden Springs Farm in CT during our stay; it's worth checking. We also spent 2 hours driving to Rhode Island to enjoy lobsters and rail biking since it's not far away.

The house was perfect. I felt right at home. Beautiful views. 5 min from town and my family. A view of East Hampton I have never seen. Host was easy to get a hold of. It was a home away from home. I plan to stay again if available when i need it.

The cottage is very cute, the inside is clean and comfortable, just watch your steps because there are few different levels in within the living room and also in the kitchen. The cottage has a beautiful deck that faces a beautiful lake with a dock we’re you can try to fish, is really fun and relaxing at the same time. One night we even saw spectacular fireworks . Also you have the opportunity to stay fit because there are 40 steps of a winding stare case that brings you down to the cottage . They provide fire pit and grill, just ask your host if the propane tank is full, but if not the kitchen is fully stocked with pot and pans We have really great time!!

The cottage though easy to drive by on the windy road was beautiful. High quality linens. The sauna was amazing. Very comfortable bed and lots of blankets. Great host responsiveness and when we had one issue Kyle was quick to correct it and was very generous. We cannot wait to come back again.

This is a super cute cottage that is well decorated and has a fully stocked kitchen. Everything felt new. It was a cozy place to watch movies on cold nights with a gas fireplace. About a 12 min (pretty) drive to UConn. Julie was a wonderful hostess—so responsive. I highly recommend this place!

We were visiting family nearby, it was great to have our own space to come back to at night. The robe and slippers gave a spa feeling to the place. The kitchen had all that we needed and more. Things were well set up and they even had thought of dog towels for when we walked our dog and she came back soaking wet in the rain. So helpful!

Amos’s place was wonderful. All the beds were extremely comfortable, there was plenty of bedding for our group, it was all very clean. We especially enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and all the games. Beautiful location right by the lake, in a quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend!

This place was very cozy and peaceful. It had all the amenities needed to enjoy a nice relaxing weekend in the woods. No issues with check in or check out and Paul was very responsive and polite when I had questions. I would definitely recommend staying here.
