We have stayed at many guest homes and this place was charming. Very clean-exactly what you could expect in northern Wisconsin. On a lovely lake, quiet. The home was extremely clean and very had many amenities that made it feel like a north woods experience,

Was advertised at $177 per night. We stayed two nights and it cost us over $650. Yeah, I accepted it because it was the only one in the area that had a hot tub and that is what we were looking for. Decent place but not really worth all the extra fees. There was a dog tie out that could have tripped us at night when walking to the hot tub, maybe need flip flops. There was some dog poop that was around the house that was not expected but to be fair, a dog came by as we were leaving that wanted to say hi. So maybe not the previous tenants fault. All in all, a good place to stay even in the winter.

Casey was so helpful and responsive over the course of our stay! My partner and I along with our black lab enjoyed every second of our stay here. It was quiet and peaceful at night in the hot tub. We will be coming back in the warmer months!

Charming house, private location but still very close to town. All the amenities that are needed were there and clearly labeled, so easy to find. The automatic door lock scared our dog, but was a nice security feature for us humans. The fenced in area of the yard was nice, but even better was the ability to walk down the long driveway and around the pond with our dog- she loved that. There were a lot of dead asian beetles upstairs, but I understand those can be out of the owners control. We loved the property on a rainy and foggy December weekend- I imagine it would be amazing if we came back during the summer when we could sit outside and enjoy a fire and the night sky. Thanks Alexandria for being a great host for our Christmas getaway.

I stayed this past weekend for a funeral. And I’d come back! Granted, I’m from Kingsford so I know the area. But this place is a little jewel. They even had a fire pit, with pre cut wood. What a thoughtful amenity! The host was responsive/ property clean. Everything an Airbnb should be. Kudos! 🙌🏻👍🏻 All said, a couple of minor small observations. -Dust the dining room chairs, especially the rails. (I inspected hotel rooms for 20+ yrs.). ☺️🤷‍♂️ -That sliding door didn’t instill confidence. -An electronic lock with a code would be awesome. -T-mobile internet. ($55 per mth). Kathy’s place is perfect for a north woods getaway. We snowmobiled, and even though there is no trail at the end of the driveway, there is a public boat launch that provides access to the chain of lakes just a couple of houses over and easy to get to. The place has everything you need and just the right amount of tucked away but still close to town. Kathy is nearby and willing to help with anything that comes up. 10/10

What a fantastic weekend! Brett was a great communicator and check in was a breeze! The cabin was so cozy! Super clean, comfortable and had everything we needed! We visited some area bar and grills, and spent a lot of time walking the property with our dogs. It was exactly the quiet weekend we were looking for! The view was fantastic and we can’t wait to come back and enjoy it in warmer weather!

Fantastic hosts with fantastic little cabin. Absolutely loved my stay. Super cozy and warm during the coldest snap of the year! Would be even better in the summer with the beautiful location, outdoor amenities, and classic cabin on the lake!

Another year in the books at Kim’s place in Conover! Always a great stay.

A great place to get away from all the hustle and bustle. Tyler was very timely with responses to all my questions no matter the time of day. The cabin was basic but had everything we needed for our stay. The only thing disappointing about the trip was the fishing. Unfortunately, Tyler had no control over the fish and weather.

We stayed at Reese’s place for a long weekend getaway. This place is hands down the best place to stay at. It’s a really nice cottage, clean comfortable, and well equipped. We also brought our boat up for the weekend to go fishing, which this cottage had a dock to easily access your boat. We had a fantastic weekend up north and will definitely be coming back in the future!

This place was amazing!!! My kids loved it and asked to book it already for next year. Amazing view and house. Best we have stayed at yet. Dawn was amazing and very informative.

We loved our stay in this little cabin. We enjoyed the private space and the pretty views snow and all! We definitely will be back in the warmer months to enjoy the other amenities. This cozy cabin felt so homey the minute we stepped in the door. We loved our stay!

Located in a beautiful, quiet area and a great place to stay! Decorated very nicely with attention to small details like ice and frosted glasses ready in the freezer and good coffee. The game room was a hit and there is a fire pit in the back along with a shed full of yard games and kayaks to use. Danielle was always prompt with replies to any questions and very kind and gracious. We thanked her for sharing her home with our family and would stay again.

This was a perfect little trip close to home but far enough away to feel like a vacation. It was a great location and a great deal. Will definitely stay again in the future!
