We stayed as an extended family for a funeral. It happened to be a busy weekend in Lawrence and wound up being the perfect place.

Great place to stay! Convenient to Kansas City and Lawrence.

We had a great stay. This place was in a great location for us with nice, fun amenities. We had a small issue upon arrival that the host corrected immediately and to our satisfaction. Very friendly and responsive host. The home looked like the pictures and was nice.

My wife and I went to KU and now we have children that go there. We travel to Lawrence quite a bit for family weekends and games. I have typically booked local hotels, but have gotten tired of the price gouging that takes place on these weekends, so we have started staying at Airbnb properties. I can easily say that none have been better than this one. A totally unique home, great proximity to campus, and amazing hosts. Everything was as described and communication was seamless. You can't go wrong with this place. Our experience was perfect.

Joni's home is absolutely beautiful & cozy! It was clean & spacious! 6 of us stayed for a family event & there was plenty of us to spread out & be comfortable. The kids enjoyed the play room & my husband enjoyed the small patio area to enjoy a cigar. We actually live about 30 minutes from Lawrence & are considering just coming to stay in Joni's beautiful, comfy home!

Very cozy house with plenty of space for guests and for hanging out. The location feels private and secluded despite being near a large intersection. Would definitely stay there again.

Awesome secluded house, host was very responsive and helpful if anything was needed during our stay, highly recommended. Our group had come from tennessee to waterfowl hunt awesome place to stay felt like we were way out in the country but it's actually very close to restaurants and other accommodations.

Cozy house in an easy to find location. Close drive or uber to downtown. Perfect for an overnight stay.

Penny's Place has to be one of Topeka's finest Airbnb locations! This was the perfect home away from home for a long-term stay. The house has a convenient office nook, with a spacious desk and large monitor, perfect for remote work. The bathrooms were large and clean, and the beds were soo luxurious (I took a picture of the mattress brand--they were that good!). The kitchen was spacious and stocked with every pan and utensil needed for home cooking. I appreciated how bright and sunny the house was; such an uplifting space to spend time in. The neighborhood is quiet and out of the way, so there is lots of privacy, and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. The house is conveniently located near Dillons and the highway, so while the house is a bit off the beaten path, we were never too far away from any one thing. Connor is a super responsive host, too, checking in when the power went out during a storm and later to make sure the house had enough supplies. We would 100% book again!

This space was awesome for us while we packed up our home and was nice to have a home away from the home that was being packed up. It was comfortable and quiet. Would stay again. Had everything we needed and more.

This is a great location, close but not too close to downtown or campus. Very convenient yet very peaceful, even during recess at the school next door. The house has plenty of space, a useful kitchen, and charm of an old Lawrence home. This is my hometown and I'd gladly rent this place again.

The house was absolutely stunning,very nice space and very comfortable.The house being up on top of the hill gives for an amazing view and gives a good private setting.Estée was an amazing host and had very quick response time. Would absolutely stay here again given the chance!

Good value in Lawrence! Perfect size for a small family to visit. Comfortable and on a quiet road. I recommend this place! The hosts were communicative.

Kim’s home was really comfortable with 3 BD and 2 BA. It was conveniently located walking distance to Mass Avenue. Kim was easy to reach if needed.

Think all of the coziness of grandmas house, minus the clutter and dust. This place is warm and welcoming, but SPOTLESS. 3 bed/2ba, comfortable beds, linens and towels that felt great, and every imaginable thing you would need. I love airbnb's like this where ALL the necessities are available and all you need is clothes, a toothbrush and toothpaste, and the food you're cooking. (Oil, seasoning, coffee, and creamer, were all available, along with every kitchen gadget ever produced.) And the banana bread in the other reviews met up to all the hype. Delicious.) This place is a true respite, and Karen was one of the most accomodating hosts I've had, and we airbnb A LOT. Excellent stay.

I stayed with a group of friends and the house was very cute and comfortable. It's not too far of a walk from Mass St with lots of restaurant options. I would definitely stay here again!

This was our first experience renting an Airbnb. We had 4 families meeting after traveling from every direction. The size and amenities were a good fit for our family. We enjoyed the high-end kitchen appliances and equipment. The free-standing commercial ice maker was amazing. The huge table had seating and elbow room for all of us and was used for meals, meaningful conversations and games. The laundry room had premium appliances. The new outdoor sport court offered something for every age. Doug treated us very fairly when a child stained her bedding, ruining it. We had a great time and this home exceeded our expectations.
