We had a very chilled 4 days at Clare’s lovely pool house. Clare and her husband are great host very friendly and helpful, the village is beautiful and quiet and the sounds of the church bell ringers practising on Thursday night was lush, the pool house is warm and cozy.

Really lovely lodge, spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished and the layout is brilliant ! A few very minor things that would be useful is just perhaps a little welcome pack with some milk / coffee/ butter and maybe a mini jam/ biscuits and in the bathrooms a sachet of shampoo/ conditioner/ shower gel / soap perhaps. Just for late arrivers… as we were after a very, very, long journey. We only had one night there sadly and would definately like a longer stay in this beautiful place but it is such a long journey for us. Highly recommended though !

Absolutely perfect hosts and accommodation. This was my first stay at an air bnb and it was wonderful. Kate couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating and assisted me with additional things such as taxi numbers. The accommodation is simply stunning and the layout of the home means that even if a large group of you stay you still have your own space. The pool is welcome addition as are the hands outside, even the harder to please teenagers had a great time. We’re now home and looking at other dates we can return to the cottage. Louise's place has to be one of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed at! Absolutely gorgeous countryside house, with 5 double bedrooms , loads of hang out space and a massive kitchen! The best part of course was the covered heated pool and all the complimentary inflatables that were left for us to use. The water temperature was just perfect and we left like we were in the tropics! We were a group of 10 including toddlers and had one of the best weekend getaways ! The house is also right next to a working farm, and Louise's son was kind enough to give us a tour of the farm. Our toddlers absolutely loved seeing the cows getting milked and the week-old calves getting fed. Lastly, Louise was really easy to communicate with and super quick at responding whenever we had a query. Overall it was one of the most memorable stays for us and would highly highly recommend this place ! We hope to be back soon!

We booked Mistletoe Farm for a stag do, and it couldn’t have been better! The location is fantastic—secluded enough to enjoy ourselves without worrying about disturbing anyone, but still close enough to Chard and surrounding areas for pubs and activities. The accommodation was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed. The hosts were welcoming and gave us great recommendations for local spots. The hot tub were absolute highlights—perfect for relaxing during the day and unwinding in the evening after a big night out. If you're looking for a unique and memorable place to host a stag weekend with a mix of fun and relaxation, this is the place! Would definitely recommend and return!

Stayed for around 4 nights and had an absolutely wonderful winter holidays together with my young family. The house is stunning the interior design is lovely and and the views are heavenly. Log fire with plenty of fuel was a big hit! pool and hotub a once a day at least activity for the kids especially during bank holidays. The fully stocked playroom was perfect for our young children. Really captured some great memories together with our family in this peaceful location and setting and came away wanting more!

What a great house to stay in, the pictures don’t actually do it justice. It has everything that you could expect and more, plenty of space and stuff to keep children occupied

The house was very spacious and spotlessly clean. It was extremely well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The beautiful beach was within easy walking distance and there were lots of local pubs and takeaways.

We stayed at this wonderful Airbnb whilst waiting for our new home in Exeter. It was peaceful, private, comfortable and just what we needed. Central but not noisy. Kerry was friendly and always available and extended our stay twice when we desperately needed to, due to unexpected new house admin delays. We highly recommend’The Old surgery’.

We instantly felt at home here. The house has been done up lovely and it gives a calm and inviting feel to it. Everything was as described and we would definitely return.

We all had a fantastic holiday, it was our first time as a blended family and we all had lots of space to both interact together quiet/private time too. The facilities were fantastic for both adults and kids. Overall a great place for a family / large group and a great base for the surrounding area / south coast

We had a brilliant stay at Three Gates Farm. Beautiful location and fabulous views. We had an easy check in on Friday afternoon and literally didn’t leave until Sunday morning. It was the perfect place for a weekend with kids and grandparents. A place to cook, relax and just spend time together as a family. The cottage was comfortable, cosy (with a brilliant wood burner) and well equipped. Anything extra we needed in terms of supplies, we had been forewarned about which was super helpful. The pool is on a rota system between the cottages so, which means you can enjoy it to yourselves at set times and there is a daily shared slot each evening too. It has a great big box of pool toys to enjoy, which was just heaven for the kids and the sauna, a treat for the adults. The games room had lots of toys and a small pool table for the kids, great to hide in in the cold weather and my kids thought the outdoor play area was brilliant, right beside a big fenced duck pond. We hope to come back!

Such a lovely break away. We were there on a surprise weekend and Angela was so supportive in helping with the surprise that she even let us park our cars at her home so the birthday girl didnt suspect the entire family was inside waiting for her. Angela was very reaponsive to all questions we had prior and during our stay. Lovely house and lovely surroundings, very spacious for all of us (10 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs!). Thank you so much! X

Bens place was high on the hill with stunning views of the ocean and Shaldon . The place was spacious and had everything you needed. Great value for money for 8 people !

nice place to go with family… really really nice nd clean house…. danny is a great man called him he talk really nicely nd polite nd asked him local beaches he told me everything wat i needed… thnx mate hopefully will b back there again

We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage which is well equipped and looked after with good quality furnishings and linen. Very quiet and green surroundings, seemingly remote and yet very conveniently located for trips to Lyme Regis, various beaches, Bridport and beyond with good food at the Hive Beach Café and the Seaside Boarding House.

This place is wonderful! beautifully clean, tidy, comfy beds and furniture and some nice touches like a big bag of popcorn in the cinema room! There was so much space for the whole family and the house caters for all age groups...and the dog! We had mostly great weather and so went to Goodrington Beach for the morning which was only 10 mins away, but could have spent the whole weekend in the house no problem, as it was so well equipped. Would highly recommend for a big family get-together...we will be returning!

Our family had a fantastic time staying at David and Susan’s lovely home in Holcombe. The spacious living area and incredible garden were perfect for us. We loved the house's location and even discovered a hidden gem - a secluded beach! We would definitely stay here again.

We had such a wonderful week in Berry Pomeroy. The accommodation was a wing of a manor house, and had a completely private and secluded feel with an enormous garden. The kids were entertained the whole week with a trampoline, row boat, chess set, table tennis, games room and a lovely garden to explore. We just loved the main Kitchen/Dining/Living room which is an elegant and very comfortable space to socialise, and even with 9 of us it felt so spacious! This accommodation feels like a home from home. Antonia and Rob were so helpful and responsive and they were ideal hosts. There are plenty of different areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings outside. The property is a little tricky to find but as long as you follow the instructions carefully its fine. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to return again.
