we absolutely loved our stay at shannon’s! the outdoor space is so serene and you can smell the lavender from the street. we loved lounging in the hammock and the comfy living room, plus very easy access to downtown ojai. would absolutely stay here again!

The openness of the living area, the different outdoor areas to gather together or just relax alone quietly, and the dedicated office area made our stay the perfect place to reconnect and visit with family we hadn't seen in awhile. The house was very clean, the beds were really comfortable, the kitchen has a great coffee maker and the ocean view from the dining room was beautiful. We especially loved the surfboard table in that area. We can highly recommend a stay here!

Loved this home !! It’s in such a great location. Completely walkable to downtown and beautiful cozy environment. Amy was so wonderful in providing recommendations while also creating a private space for us to enjoy. Would definitely recommend this place for a stay in Santa Barbra.

We had a great time staying here. The hot tub was a huge benefit and we liked having two individual units. Everything was very clean and Kristy was super responsive and helpful

This is a charming and cozy home that has everything you need for a quiet place to nestle that is close enough to walk to the beautiful Butterfly Beach and the great shopping and restaurants on Coast Village Road. The gate provides privacy. The landscape in the front is very serene. The backyard with its fire pit and comfy sectional are relaxing. We ate dinner outside quite often because it's just so peaceful and lovely, especially at night. Definitely a place we'll come back to!

Great spot to be a home base for the area. Driveway was not nearly as difficult as to get into as we thought too. place is comfortable and clean, which is all you really could ask for.

Great value and home base for visit to Santa Barbara. Efficient use of space. Very clean and nicely decorated. Very safe and gated. Convenient location. Right next to freeway and near train tracks, although you wouldn't know it once inside the complex. Close to amazing produce grocery store, Tri-County Produce. Easy to walk to East Beach, Stearns Wharf, State St. No frills, other than two TVs, so bring own spices, cooking oil, games, etc. Immediate neighbors are low-end commercial/industrial complexes, but the host and his team made this gated complex feel very safe, comfortable, and tasteful.

Spacious, clean lodgings on the first floor of an older home with very quiet renters upstairs. It worked great for our two-week stay in Ventura.

Great place to stay for visiting Santa Barbara. This place is nicer than staying in most of the hotels in Santa Barbara that are older buildings with thin walls. Very quiet location and friendly neighbors. Less than a 10 minute walk to one of the best coffee shops in SB (Handlebar). Host was extremely responsive. Very dog friendly place and neighborhood.

We’ve stayed here several times and have always had a great experience. It’s the only place we stay when we come to SB now. The location is amazing, the house is charming and comfortable. And Sandy is a great communicator. Highly recommend staying here

This was absolutely amazing!!! Planning on booking here again when I come back! It was a safe, fun, unique stay, and it was so enjoyable and cozy. Everything from start to finish was perfect. The whole process was seamless and the room was comfortable. Woke up feeling refreshed and ready to start the day!

Certainly plan to return to Papa Dux the next time we’re in town. The location was superb and the host very friendly and responsive. We took advantage of the beach bikes offered with the facility and enjoyed the less than five minute bike ride down to the beach daily. The deck off the living room is a perfect place to start and end the day in a beautiful location!

Natalie was a great host with a fantastic place. Reserving with her was super easy, she was incredibly communicative, and incredibly flexible before, during, and after the booking. Our Airbnb was easy to find, VERY clean and lovely, and VERY close to just about everything in Ventura. This is my new go-to stay whenever I’m in Ventura.

5++ stars!! This place was absolutely amazing and our family (2A, 2K- 10, 7) enjoyed staying here and would definitely book again next time we’re visiting relatives. All amenities were thoughtfully included to make our stay comfortable, right down to the beach tar wipes (which we needed!) and the delightful Wes Anderson coffee table book that we enjoyed reading. Location - Moments to the freeway, and the rest is all walkable- three blocks to the beach, short walk to the pier and On The Alley for a delicious bite and eight minutes to State and the Funk Zone. Grocery store and a pub are conveniently around the corner. House - As others have mentioned, the sound does carry from the other units, but wasn’t a huge issue for us. We found the beds to be a bit soft and a clothes drying rack would be useful, but otherwise no complaints. Property is spotlessly clean, includes a good quality beach set, extra towels/linens, full sized laundry, parking and lovely outdoor patio/bbq area.

Jane’s place was very comfortable for our 10-day stay. The light was lovely, the kitchen easily accommodated two people cooking together, and each room was larger than I expected, vs. many airbnb rentals that are smaller than you expect based on the photos. It is an easy walk to a great produce market that has everything you need, Stearns Wharf, a delightful zoo, a bird refuge and of course East Beach. I took advantage of beach yoga there. Reunion kitchen at the CaBrillo Pavillion was very convenient and the food was quite good. Great latte!

Rob is definitely a super host, and the location is so enjoyable, with walking distance to the sand, and town! My fiance and I will definitely look forward to another stay, and recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm relaxing get away.

My wife and I spent a weekend at Eileen’s and all I can say is, it was one of the best experiences I’ve had on AirBnB. Eileen was super helpful and responsive, sent clear instructions, the place was exactly what we were hoping it would be, and Carpinteria is a beautiful town, wonderful people. We cannot recommend Eileen’s place strongly enough!

We stayed there on our way back from LA to San Fran. It was an absolute surprise. Shamim is truly a super host. And the place was a gem. It was neat and clean, and everything was provided. Instructions were very clear and had a keyless entry. Dedicated parking was a great convenience. The absolute best part was the private access to the Beach. And the beach was gorgeous and expansive—a large flat swath of fine sand land all to yourself. It reminded me of the Copa Cabana beach section in front of our five-star hotel in the early morning when there was hardly anybody. The waves were gorgeous, and one young girl attempting to ride them in the distance. Shamim also recommended great restaurants in the neighborhood, which turned out to be great. Pacific Grill was great, and American Pizza, a few miles away, made our kid's day. Reasonably priced.
