We had a wonderful stay at Bridesmere over New Year and it was just what we needed. Peaceful, beautiful area, lovely comfortable home from home. We appreciated the enclosed garden for our spaniel, the beautiful and spacious bedrooms and the living area which was large enough for all 7 of us, two families. WiFi was strong upstairs so no issue with all of us connected and the tv had all apps we needed to watch films with no buffering. There is a beautiful walk through the forest along the river just minutes from the house which leads to a very nice pub serving good food. As other reviews mention, the kids room smells a little musty/damp but this was not a huge issue and we opened the bathroom window after showering which helped. Kitchen well stocked but knives are a little blunt! Children loved the games barn and not having to bring bikes with us was really helpful and appreciated. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay and we would definitely return. Thank you for having us.

I stayed at Danny's place with friends and we loved the space! the hot tub was an amazing addition! The house had a cosy feel to it and we would love to stay here again in the future. Danny was very responsive to any questions we had.

The Stone House is ideal for large family gatherings and special events. The Cabin and children's rooms made it easier to cater for the full spectrum of family members and generations. comfortable and relaxed that felt like a home away from home. A well equipped kitchen and warm rooms.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. It certainly ticked all our boxes and actually exceeded expectations. A beautiful property in a wonderful location - perfect for a relaxing break.

Possibly the best Airbnb I have stayed in. Such a unique, beautiful spot. The bedrooms are super spacious with super comfortable beds and it was great to have the two toilets. The property has everything you need and has been thoughtfully designed. Everywhere was spotless! The log burner was lovely to use at night and the hot tub with the stunning views and surroundings is just perfect! We saw so many different types of birds whilst there! We would love to return and will recommend to others.

Would highly recommend. Such a lovely house. Very modern, spotless, and had everything you can think of that you may need! Lots of lovely touches like the coffee machine, games, popcorn machine & hot tub! The kids absolutely loved it, lots of space & the rooms were so lovely. Really comfortable beds & lovely clean bedding, we all slept so well. Really nice area, good location. Will definitely be booking again! Susie was so helpful throughout, and we can’t thank her enough. We all absolutely loved our weekend away.

Our family had a good stay, there was plenty of space for 9 adults and 3 infants. The garden was really spacious and we enjoyed use of the fire pit, BBQ, trampoline and hot tub. The only downside was the kitchen was a bit small for us, as we cooked the majority of meals at home and ordered a big food shop for a week, which we had to split between the two kitchens (upstairs and downstairs). Walkable to Princetown where there are local facilities and amenities, plus driving to many nice places on the moors, but roads are narrow and can take some time to get places, being in the heart of Dartmoor.

very nice, clean, bright, and spacious area! dog friendly, which was great for us. Our dog was able to roam around freely and relax in different rooms without strangers as there were so many rooms to spend time I'm away from your bedroom. Anthony was very friendly, very responsive over app, and great with our dog who can be nervous around men. hottub was a great addition. no issues here! depending on the guests who stay with you depends on how loud or quiet the communal area is at night, we had a family playing muical doors at 10pm each night, but was very quiet and peaceful once everyone settled. Good location to travel around Devon! would definitely recommend it!

Antony was amazing host ,very respectful and understanding , I will definitely recommend who is looking for quite and relaxing place to stay . Place is very looked after and can be more than 5 star rated hotels ,as long you ok to comunicate with some pll who is sharing it perfect it can get a bit uncofortable for those who is looking proper isolation . Wow! What a place! It sounds a cliche but we will definitely be visiting again! Next time for more than one evening. We’re already looking through the diary for the next available weekend. It was everything we expected and more. We stayed as it was as close to an event we were attending that evening. Upon arrival we were worried about getting a taxi to an event as uber didn’t work well in the area. Jill (the host) kindly asked what time we needed to be there and what time we needed to be collected and she organised it all. She really went above and beyond what was expected and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for more

We had a great stay, 4 adults & 3 dogs. The chalet was roomy, clean and homely. The hot tub on the balcony was amazing with wonderful views. There were countryside walks around the site as well as activities. We will definitely recommend it to friends and family and hopefully return in the near future.

We had a lovely long weekend at Valley view! Great accommodation, very peaceful and private. The hot tub was a real bonus and we took advantage of the garden and outside spaces as we were blessed with the weather! Lovely part of Devon and plenty of attractions within a short driving distance! Highly recommend and would definitely return!

We had the best time, I am not a camper so was a little worried but intrigued and it was not a disappointment. This is luxurious with the little camping parts added in. The outdoor baths were a dream even in Oct/Nov. The accommodation spotless and Kylie the host so friendly and helpful. Such a beautiful place and we can’t wait to visit again.

Lovely place to stay for the weekend. The cabin is cozy and clean with beautiful views. Would really recommend for a quiet get away, and the hot tub is great.

Would highly recommend. The host was very responsive and always on hand if needed. The area is lovely and quiet and the lodge itself was very clean, well equipped and warm/comfortable. You also get access to the ponds, zip line and swing for kids. Hot tub was also a great bonus. I’d say the photos don’t do it justice, the lodge itself is nicer and larger than it looks on the pictures. Also a lovely local pub 20mins walk away (1mile max walk) and coast is only 30mins drive. Would consider returning.

Jess is highly communicative, making the check-in process smooth and easy. The cabin is just a 3-minute walk from the parking area. It was lovely and clean, with all the necessary amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with plenty of pillows to choose from. The peaceful surroundings ensured a great night's sleep. There are several pubs within a 5-minute drive, and Exeter Quay is only 10-15 minutes away by car. I would definitely recommend Jess's cabin!
