Sarah and Dayle were incredibly warm, friendly, welcoming hosts who really went above and beyond to make the stay special for us, truly lovely people. Sarah was responsive to messages, welcomed us in person, and even went the extra mile to help me celebrate my birthday which was so unexpected and kind, it made me day. Dayle popped over on our second evening to help with the wood-fired hot tub, and even helps us out with logs when my bag of logs ran out. The Old Bullpen was beautiful and clean, the perfect place for a family break, and we also loved outdoor area with fire pit, sun loungers and BBQ so we could relax outdoors as a family with a BBQ and toast some marshmallows. A really great experience in a tranquil setting. Thank you so much to Sarah and Dayle

Absolutely stunning place a lovely place to get away from the stresses of life for a few days

We have just had a fantastic holiday at the eco lodge. It is clean, well equipped and comfortable, a great space for two families of four. Fun to have a piano. The garden is beautiful, so much birdsong and we loved relaxing outside and enjoying the pond. The hot tub was such a treat. The kids loved playing in the drive on the scooters and tandem bike. Ian is a kind and truly welcoming host, he was flexible when we had to change a date and gave us some good local info. He definitely bakes the best scones in Devon! We would love to visit again, a very special place.

A blissful retreat, with absolutely stunning views. The Bothy is cozy and well kitted out, and the hosts are incredibly thoughtful.

Possibly the best Airbnb I have stayed in. Such a unique, beautiful spot. The bedrooms are super spacious with super comfortable beds and it was great to have the two toilets. The property has everything you need and has been thoughtfully designed. Everywhere was spotless! The log burner was lovely to use at night and the hot tub with the stunning views and surroundings is just perfect! We saw so many different types of birds whilst there! We would love to return and will recommend to others.

Fantastic place to stay! Wonderful house for a family to recharge their batteries. We stayed in the spring which was lovely seeing the new lambs but would recommend it for all year round. Would stay again in a heart beat. Thank you Mark and Amelia

My Family and I had a lovely weekend. House is as described and we all slept really well. The house and grounds are lovely and worked perfect for my birthday weekend. Jeanette is lovely and extremely helpful and informative. I would definitely recommend to anyone and I would certainly return!

We could not have enjoyed our stay more. The location, house and setting were breathtaking. Lyndon himself was a true gentleman who fully understood our needs and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. A truly nice, genuine person who cared about his property and our stay in it being the best it could be. Going as far as organising and setting up kegs of beer on tap to be enjoyed in the amazing home bar that was offered. Check in and out could not have been easier and was very nice for us to actually meet the host and to meet such a good guy. The cleanliness was exceptional! The recommendation for and booking of a local restaurant, where we had one of the best meals we’ve had in years was greatly appreciated. I cannot recommend Lyndon’s property more and will be telling anyone I know who wants to stay in Tavistock area that’s the place for them. Truly the English language fails in articulating how happy we are with our stay at Lyndon’s property! Fantastic!!!!!

We had a great stay here. A lovely place and peaceful setting. There were clear instructions for everything making our stay stress free. Great location for visiting Dartmoor national park. We also visited Blackpool sands beach which was amazing. The 1.30hr drive was worth it for us although there are closer beaches. Nice sitting at the meadow and having our morning coffee with the chickens who paid us a visit. Thank you Ilona for a great couple of days away

Josie’s place is situated in a beautiful and peaceful location within Dartmoor National Park. It was the perfect one-night stop for us on our way to St Ives. There are some charming pubs within walking distance from the property. Josie was very friendly and responsive throughout our communication.

Just had another great stay with Alison. The apartment was spotless as always. It is well equipped and Alison is such a great host. She is friendly and helpful. What more could you ask.

Gorgeous setting, well appointed Airbnb. Comfortable beds, large space, wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy. We would book her time and again!

We’re a couple with a young baby - and we had a great one night stay! Sue and Martin’s place was exactly as described. It was warm, cosy and very clean. The bathroom was particularly spacious. They provided a high chair for our baby and even let us park our rather large van on their driveway. If the weather is dry, definitely walk up to the garden and summerhouse - it has an amazing view towards the sea! Would highly recommend.

Myself and my family had a wonderful time. They absolutely loved the location, and found the house very cosy and clean!

My two friends and I had an amazing relaxing weekend at Susan’s place. The space was immaculate when we arrived with all amenities we needed to cook all of our meals. The view from the garden is beautiful and it’s been so peaceful to wake up with a view of the sea. The beds are really comfortable as is the sofa bed. Susan was really helpful in her instructions and very prompt to respond if we needed clarification. All in all, a 5* experience, we hope to be back soon!

Just WOW! a beautiful lodge, with a perfect view. Lovely, friendly, well maintained site. Emily has given such thought to small details within the Lodge, from umbrellas, to a fan. could not recommend enough. I particularly loved the binoculars, as I'd forgotten mine! on a clear day we would could see through the binoculars and make out Barry island. The decor in the Lodge is stunning, main bedroom bed and bedding was a dream, the dog loved being able to be out on the deck, and grass, and we had great peace of mind with it being secure. For our first ever Air b&b stay, the bar has been set very high! Thank you, a trip we will always remember.

Wow. We had an absolutely sensational stay at Hillcrest Hideaway. The facilities were incredible, the views were amazing and the special touches left by Byron and Georgie were so thoughtful. Would 100% come back!

Absolutely beautiful stay at the cabin this Easter weekend. It was so peaceful and had everything we needed. We really appreciated the local eggs for our breakfast and all the little easter touches! Carole popped in to say hi after we had arrived and to check we had everything we needed. We spent some time in the spring sun sat next to the fire and admiring the view. On the Sunday we made the most of the many local walks and ended at the local pub - an epic carvery! The cabin had many ways to keep us cosy if we needed it - including a wood fire, cosy blankets on the sofa and an electric blanket on the bed. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a short stay away from home. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed the dark skies and view of the stars from the hot tub ❤️ Thank you very much x

Myself and my partner really enjoyed our stay and were really impressed with the grounds , everything was clean and beautiful . All the little touches were excellent and appreciated so much , there were a beautiful bouquet of roses , items in the cupboard and fridge which were a nice touch as there’s always something we forget ! , We were given the opportunity to use the pool table and darts board on our last evening as the lodge was empty that night , which I thought was a lovely touch , and also gave me the opportunity to beat my other half at a game of pool. The hot tub was a great feature ! And the communication from the hosts was excellent and very informative and although we didn’t have any problems , I knew if there was , they’d be on it . We will definitely be back again . Thank you .

We had a lovely,pleasant and relaxing stay at the cabin, the cabin was well equipped with everything we needed,and we had a lovely helpful host. The cabin is in an ideal location close to Bude, and other nice places.

We stayed 5 nights at the cabin with our two pups and what a stay it was! The cabin is everything and more than the advert and you will not be disappointed. It is truly beautiful. Claire is the perfect host too and her communication and the little touches and details makes the cabin even more amazing. Claire provides dog long leads, bowls, beds, towels and even two new toys for the pups. (which they loved) we have never experienced this kind of attention to detail from a dog friendly host before and it makes all the difference. Peaceful and private what more could you want. Where on earth do I start, Vix the host had been absolutely incredible, this weekend was my partner and I's Engagement and I asked him to Marry me at the lodge, it could not have gone more beautifully! A beautiful location, an incredible venue and am amazing host 🥰
