What a gem. Views are great…hot tub is amazing, perfect little house in a quiet neighborhood. We will be back anytime we’re visiting family in the area.

Wonderful hosts! The home was very neat and clean. It was a nice, relaxing home with beautiful lake views. The jacuzzi is a great addition to the home. We had a most enjoyable stay and utilized the “happy place” each night with fun games of pool, ping pong and others. I look forward to returning in the future!

Just as described- a peaceful and quiet getaway. We’re still talking about it 2 weeks later!

This house is gorgeous right on the lake in the winter was so beautiful. The home was clean and had everything you needed. Absolutely loved Catherine’s guidebook so well written and amazing communication. I would recommend this stay for anyone who loves a staycation!! Thank you for an amazing weekend! 💕

This is the second time we stayed here and it was even better than the first! They have really taken the time to make the place as welcoming and easy to navigate as possible.

The Cottage at Blackberry River Inn was beautiful and exactly what we needed for the weekend. Breakfast was included and wonderful. This place is a gem and we will be back for sure.

Was the perfect little get away for us. And it was nice to find a place that accommodated the dogs so well. We appreciated being able to get to places easily but at the same time have a peaceful place to return to.

Brian was an amazing host. The cozy cabin was exactly what my husband and our dog needed. It was a last minute weekend getaway. So happy the home was available. Extremely clean. Kitchen completely furnished with all items you could possibly use. The bathroom was so adorable and the shower pressure was amazing. Plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. We loved the stereo on the top of the fridge we had it on every time we were in the home. There was a TV but we didn’t watch it. Internet and cell service was excellent. The wood stove was a favorite. Especially the night we had the (so called) snow storm. We didn’t get much snow. Brian made sure the driveway and steps were plowed. There were nice breweries close by. Chief breakfast diner was very good. The garage was where we spent both nights playing ping pong, darts and fuzz ball. One thing we would have loved in the garage… A heater, it was chilly but still had a blast!! Our dog LOVED running around the yard. AMAZING TIME! Thank you!!!

This was the second time staying at Foxfire Hill. The property is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. One of our favorite spots and definitely will be back to visit the area again. We didn’t have to reach out to the hosts because all of the information we needed was communicated before hand. Mike and Meryl make things easy. Thanks again for a relaxing few days!!

Rio was a really friendly and helpful host and his cottage was very cute in a lovely area surrounded by trees and great walks and hikes. We made s'mores over the fire pit, enjoyed the quiet, and explored a few towns nearby. Great weekend!

This was my fifth stay in Jeanne's wonderful cottage! The cottage gets better and better each time I visit: a newly renovated bathroom, redecoration in lighter/brighter colors, etc. The home is extremely well stocked - every kitchen item you might need (including loads of glasses/plates/silverware, pots/pans, etc.), thick towels, extra blankets and throws, and lots of cleaning and paper products. There are plenty of cozy places to sit and relax, both indoors and out. The best thing of all is Jeanne herself, who is without a doubt the most generous host I've encountered on AirBnB. She is friendly, communicates proactively, and is quick to respond to any issues/questions. She truly opens her home to her guests, encouraging visitors to use the space fully and to make themselves at home. The cottage is an easy walk to the beach ane/or to town and is lovely, homey, and peaceful. I'll definitely return!

The little red schoolhouse was such a beautiful and peaceful space! Dawn and Ken were very helpful and communicative. The guidebook that they put together for the area was a huge help and very much appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed the space, the area, and our peaceful weekend with our dogs. We felt right at home. The welcome sign with our names was very sweet! Thank you Dawn and Ken!

we loved our stay at Tia's. It is nestled in the woods on a quiet back road. The apartment was very cozy and relaxing. Had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. It was spotless. Very well cared for and maintained. It was a great location for us as we traveled from there to Warwick, Patterson, and into Norwalk CT. Lots to do around there and great places to eat. Tia was very communicative. She was very proactive is contacting us to see if there was anything we would need. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed

I have stayed in this little house several times, and it always seems like the perfect place., not matter what the season. The yard and surroundings are lovely and the house itself is cozy and beautifully maintained. The host is always so responsive and helpful.

Had a staycation with my girlfriends and we felt right at home. They had all the necessary kitchen utensils to make dinner for my friends. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a home away from home.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The hosts thought of everything and made us feel right at home. We could not have been more pleased and would highly recommend this property.

Cheryl's place was adorable! I felt right at home in the cosy open concept living space. My mom crashed the weekend portion of the trip which was nice. My cat Mushu had a wonderful time and we even went outside. The beach was about a four minute walk for me, and a breathtaking view as you approach. Cheryl had everything necessary and mentioned. Next time I'll be sure to bring coffee filters and sugar. There were unexpected amenities too like paper towels and trash bags, and candles. There were also tons of spare toiletries like shaving cream and shampoo and conditioner and body wash. Thanks again!

Great place for our family to stay during the Thanksgiving holiday. Peaceful and comfortable. We had everything we needed and more! Bathroom was spa-like, beds were comfortable and warm. Big TV and comfy couch was great for a family movie night. Kitchen was very well equipped. Will definitely come again!

My sister and I were in town for a wedding in Old Saybrook. We loved this place. So comfortable and had all the conveniences needed for a theee night stay. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfy, the house felt safe and private, the water pressure was amazing and hot water was plentiful. Jaime, the host was immediately responsive and communicative. All was just great and the neighborhood felt safe for walking or sitting on the deck in the evening. Highly recommend
