This place was absolutely beautiful. The ladies that came and cooked for us were amazing. Food was amazing and so worth hiring them to cook for us. There really isnt anywhere to get food from around the area. Josue went and purchased the groceries for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I cant wait to book this place again.

Somehow the pictures don’t do justice to this place!! It is way more beautiful! I felt like I own the world, with that view of the lake and the volcanos. The stuff were very helpful, very kind, schedule a massage for me and were there to answer any questions. Two things you need to know though, they were tooo many stairs to arrive to the house from the lake, and they don’t have a comfortable living space ( basically no living room!! Or they do have a small space, but the chairs are not comfortable!!!)

Beautiful house and plenty of room to spread out. There were 6 of us and we loved having our own rooms and bathrooms. Private and secure. The hot tub was a nice touch.

This is a gorgeous air bnb. The host has thought of everything and was very responsive to questions. The caretakers are kind and helpful. Our kids loved the hot tub and all the outdoor spaces. Beautiful landscaping and the lake is breathtaking. I loved the open-air feel. We stayed three nights and wished we could stay longer, it was so comfortable and relaxing. Thank you so much, Ana! Dr. Cesar was a great host and his house a hidden gem. Truly peaceful and quiet, perfect to unwind and relax. The view from the master bedroom balcony at sunrise and sunset is something you can’t miss. My family and felt right at home here.

Always magical here. Second time staying, and our group loved it. Eric helps with everything, his cooks are the best, and his transport is the nicest to get to the lake. Highly recommend!

Miguel always there to care about our stay and each day he prepared the bath with clean hot volcanic water. This bath was awesome and made the difference in this stay. The place was the neighborh of the main street with artisans wich is nice. However for people who want peace, just to let you know that it was sometimes really noisy. The temescal was accessible with a cost. Internet was good to work and the place was rustic but clean and comfortable. Santa Catarina is a nice little town with friendly people. This place exceeded our expectations, it was even more beautiful than the photos! The living space is spacious and breathtaking, with a stunning yard that offers an unobstructed view of the volcano. The kitchen was fantastic, and we loved spending our evenings cooking dinner and grilling on the barbecue. Every night, we used the temazcal (like a sauna), which made our stay even more special. Lesley and the groundskeeper were incredibly responsive, kind, and made us feel right at home. Lesley also shared local recommendations and kept us informed about daily events in San Marcos. An unforgettable stay, we wish we could have stayed longer!

Joshua’s home was a paradise getaway. The views of Lake Atitlan from almost every angle were captivating. The architecture of the villa was an art of its own. The house manager & his son were incredibly helpful, gracious, & much appreciated in every way! & what a lovely experience it was to be boat taxied into town and back. Beds were comfortable, home was clean, and kitchen came equipped with anything you could need. We hope to return at some point, a definite recommend.

We absolutely loved the Jade casita at Balam! Valentín was there to welcome us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. Balam is a little oasis, about 5-10 minute tuk tuk from Pana. You can also walk or take a Tuk Tuk to Santa Catarina which id also recommend if you have time! Definitely recommend having them cook you breakfast in the morning so you don’t have to run to town or cook yourself.

We stayed here from April 9 - 11. The location was perfect as it was very quiet and relaxing. Our view was the best I have seen in any other air bnb I have stayed in Pana. You could see the volcanoes from any room in the house. The villa was very clean and I loved the boho decor and feel. I highly recommend this villa and we will definitely be back. Thanks Maria!

Tolle Unterkunft mit einer herrlichen Aussicht auf den See. Die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich und man muss sich bewusst sein, dass man zwar ruhig wohnt aber dafür weit weg von den Orten wohnt. Der whirlpool funktioniert, wenn man den über längere Zeit vorheizt. Einen Kamin haben wir nicht entdeckt, auch eine Heizung oder funktionierende Klimaanlage. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft ein Traum und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Beautiful and tranquil spot near San Pedro. The views of the lake were stunning, and the atmosphere was peaceful—great for relaxing. A bit removed from the bustle, but still easy to get into town. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway.

This place was absolutely amazing! You can feel the love they put into it! Everyone was so humble, welcoming, and kind! We even had a tour of the farm with Mateo one morning which was the cutest thing ever(must do). The rental was very clean and ready to go. If we needed anything, a text or private message and they got back to us right away! Food was amazing, waitress was amazing. We didn’t even need to leave for anything the couple days we were there! So much to do, so much to see! Jetski ride out to the lake, also a must do! Thanks guys!! * It is definitely worth the trip *

Lugar excelente para salir del ruido de la ciudad y al mismo tiempo aprovechar los parques del IRTRA. El lugar es amplio y fresco, todo limpio, la cocina tiene todos los esenciales y se encuentra dentro de una colonia tranquila y bonita, llena de naturaleza, en donde no se escucha el sonido de la carretera. El anfitrión ha sido el más amable de todas mis estadías con airbnb, con excelentes recomendaciones y atención rápida y eficaz. Mi estadía en Retalhuleu fue definitivamente mejor gracias a haber escogido este lugar para quedarnos, espero volver pronto.

Muy hermoso lugar. Hay demasiada calma, bastante bosque y el clima bastante fresco. Es demasiado relajante y un lugar bonito para ir en pareja.
