Una propiedad hermosa, tranquila, con muchas actividades por hacer, impresionantes vistas, fui con hijos, nietos y mama y todos lo pasamos muy bien. Jessica, Jose, Anali, Edyberto y el jardinero hacen un excelente trabajo alli, son personas super atentas, educados y nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos con gusto. Si quieren ir a conocer pueblos si deben de rentar lancha. La casa estaba limpia y la matienen muy bien y nos cocinaron muy rico todo lo que les pediamos, Me gustaria regresar pronto 100% recomendada

Es una estadía con una ubicación muy buena, las habitaciones y sus instalaciones están muy limpias y sobre todo son muy agradables para el ambiente familiar, perfecto para una escapada ya que también tiene su muelle para poder visitar en lancha los pueblitos más hermosos de Guatemala, San Juan la Laguna y Panajachel, quiero agradecer a Jean por su amabilidad y comprensión en todo momento.

Great location close to the town and the lake. If you’re a lite sleeper bring earplugs the street noise and morning birds can be loud. Tomas is the person who checked us in was very helpful set us up with Tuk Tuk driver. Even though it can be a little noisy the location is great worth renting.

This place was absolutely beautiful. The ladies that came and cooked for us were amazing. Food was amazing and so worth hiring them to cook for us. There really isnt anywhere to get food from around the area. Josue went and purchased the groceries for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I cant wait to book this place again.

We absolutely loved our stay - the views are unreal, it was so beautiful to wake up every morning and drink coffee while overlooking the lake. Our kids had a great time exploring the property and swimming in the pool that was the perfect temperature. The hot tub had the perfect view of the volcano and was super relaxing. Great location, and Eliseo was so helpful. Can’t wait to come back someday!

We had a great time enjoying the sweeping volcano views from the balcony of Casa Wenche at Villa Eggedal. The property covers over 10 acres and is a 10 minute walk from the public dock and 15 minutes uphill to the town center of Santa Cruz. Since it was a bit of a hike to the restaurants, we ended up cooking a lot. There were so many seating areas around the property, which is meticulously gardened, and our boys also enjoyed the pool. Diego the caretaker and the cleaning ladies were also really helpful. Also the hot water and water pressure were great!

Everything was great, clean and very nice, really enjoyed staying here, and I highly recommend.

Perfect colonial stay for solo or family traveling to Xela! Great value and a very friendly and responsive host who was always ready to help.

Recomiendo bastante a todos esta vivienda! Todo estaba muy limpio, seguro la casa es una joyita! 10/10 La atención de el Host y co-host es excelente. Las camas muy cómodas y dormimos muuuuy cómodos no había ningún ruido y habían suficientes cobijas para el frío. Todo en excelencia y con gusto pienso volver a agendar para quedarnos en la casa.

Casa Xelaju is a great place to stay while in Xela, be it for a short-term or long-term stay. I stayed for three weeks. The buildings and grounds are set off away from the main streets so are pretty quiet. The garden is bright with flowers. It is near to convenience stores, a market for buying fruits and veg, and the main square (all in Zone 1). I stayed in the house which was great (and big! - just as is shown in the pictures), but do know that there are also different types of smaller apartments and studios available to rent as well - all you need to do is contact them and ask. The staff were so friendly and attentive to anything that I needed during my stay. Guests have access to a washing machine and free, filtered drinking water. Highly recommended!

Made a very last minute booking, José was very helpful . I have a 4x4 and the drive to the location is so fun! The home is bucolic and charming. I plan on staying here again when in Huehuetenango // Hice una reserva de último minuto, José era muy atendido. Tengo un 4x4 y el viaje hasta el lugar es más divertidos que he tenido. El hogar es bucólico y encantador. Planeo quedarme aquí otra vez cuando esté en Huehuetenango.

It was a good experience and it’s a nice house. The owner was very helpful and the rooms were great. There’s also free wifi and the location is great. I enjoyed my time there and would definitely go again.

La casa es amplia, muy amena, con todo lo necesario para una estancia en familia, la pasamos super bien 6 personas que la usamos. Únicamente el parqueo es reducido, pero nos solucionaron dandonos opción de parquearnos cerca a pocos metros de la casa, lo que nos pareció excelente.
