Absolutely stunning place! From outside - the beautiful, natural surroundings to the inside, stunning high end and luxurious decor. Nicola has thought of absolutely everything! We had everything we needed and more. Nicola was really responsive, friendly, and recommended local walks. Even gave us some extra supplies after a muddy day out! Would definitely stay again! We had an amazing day in Tracy’s AirBnB, the location was perfect at the top of bowness and it’s easy to walk or get the bus into Windermere! The overall house was so tidy & clean when we arrived - I’d seen comments about excessive lists to do on checkout and this is lies, all that is asked is that the beds are stripped and the rubbish in the bins which is not by any means too much to ask for! We absolutely loved the house it came with everything that was needed, the kitchen was brilliant & the areas to sit and chill out were also fab!! Everything was so easy to find & the handy blue file helped with all the instructions, one question I couldn’t answer and Tracy replied within minutes! We would 110% stay here again if we go back to bowness as it was perfect!!!

Great cottage for our family stay in Windermere, we couldn’t have asked for a better property and location. The property was really nice and clean, well resourced and set up with everything you could have needed during the stay. We made use of the complimentary leisure facilities for all the family. Great location with lots of bars, restaurants, choice of supermarkets and easy bus and train routes. We would love to return and carry on exploring the area using the cottage as our base.

Really enjoyed staying here, the apartment was amazing and we really didnt want to leave. The hosts were really friendly and responsive to messages and absolutely loved the features in the room. We will definitely return! Thanks again :)

Just back from a couple of nights at The Great Escape and feel as thoughtful gh we've been away for a week. Very relaxing space , friendly little pub on site. Amusements was just enough to keep the kids entertained without being over the top and taking away from the feel of the place . Cracking dark skies for star viewing in the hottub. Would definitely return.

When checking in it was nice and simple, Steven came to help us and show us around, there were a few bits to play like a chess board, Scrabble, monopoly. The area was lovely and only a 20 minute drive from Lake Windermere, would recommend for sure!

Lovely, clean, spacious lodge in a lovely setting with a perfectly placed hot tub. The lodge meet all our requirements. Plenty of storage space, extra bedding provided and all the essentials. Highly recommended.
