Wir hatten eine ganz wundervolle Zeit bei Julie und Zoltan. Die beiden haben uns herzlich willkommen geheißen und uns tolle Tips für Unternehmungen auf der Insel gegeben. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt gelegen zwei Gehminuten von Alma Beach entfernt und bietet neben einer gemütlichen Buschküche im Freien mit allem was man zum Kochen braucht auch eine zusätzliche Dusche im Grünen. Das Appartment sowie das Grundstück sind wunderschön und kreativ von den beiden Künstlern gestaltet. Eine ausdrückliche Empfehlung!

We had an incredible stay at Karen & Mark’s home. They were exceptionally hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. The location is ideal—right in the heart of everything, making it easy to explore the area. Staying in a traditional Northern Queensland home was such a unique and wonderful experience. The house is clean, and the area is full of character, and gave us a real sense of the local culture. It was well-equipped, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend this place!

I had a lovely stay at Pam and Tim’s place. It is located just a short walk to the shops and the beach and backs onto forest. I loved listening to the birds in the evening and mornings and there was often a little rock wallaby outside my window.

We loved our stay at Coastal Corner! The photos don’t do it justice just how beautiful and spacious this home is. The pool was a perfect temperature with a lovely outdoor area to sit and enjoy the warm Townsville weather. The home had everything we needed to feel right at home.

The place was perfect for what we needed! We were able to check in early on the day which was an absolute blessing for two weary travellors. Had a little bit of difficulty with the lockbox on checkout, but that might have been us. Nice location, very close to everything we needed. Very much appreciated the flexibility! We had a great time.

The space was clean, and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches throughout. The amenities were fantastic—everything from fast Wi-Fi and a separate study. The host went above and beyond by providing complimentary items such as breakfast cereals. bottled water, and snacks, which was a very nice surprise. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the fresh towels and toiletries provided. The location was also ideal, close to local attractions but tucked away in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Overall, it was a perfect stay, and I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a hassle-free getaway!

A homely stay. Welcoming, warm and interesting hosts who included us as part of the family. Great location close to two major shopping centre and about 20 mins drive to city centre and Strand. Highly recommended.

Nick was a great host. He picked us up from the ferry and gave us lots of information about the Island - where to eat, what to do etc. Nick’s place was located within walking distance to every amenity in Nelly Bay.
