We had a magical time at the Bloom Apartment! Truly the most thoughtful airBNB booking we have ever had. The attention to detail, stunning views, and charming location made the stay our best yet - it lives up to the hype! We did not regret renting a car; we resisted it until the last moment but got one at the airport, and though we were afraid to drive in Italy we had no issues. We DO recommend getting a small car as ours felt a bit too big to park comfortably in the garage (it was a mini Countryman) but an expert driver would have no problem. The treats left around the house were a delight, the local pizzeria had great views and food, and the medieval village was so fun to explore. We took the ferry from Argegno to bellaggio and varenna, and drove to Menaggio, so it was easy to go to the touristy spots, but nice to be staying in a place that felt more authentic. Mattia and his family were very responsive, and couldn’t be more gracious. We hope to be back!

Beautiful area, and beautiful property. We enjoyed so much of our 4 nights stay here, the only thing to consider is if you carry lots of luggage, it can be very quite troublesome because the carpark is far from the property.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt als fünfköpfige Familie mit Hund in Gavirate sehr genossen. Unsere Kleinkinder konnten sicher im Garten spielen und wir haben tolle Ausflüge gemacht (Lago di Varese, Lago Maggiore, in den nahegelegenen Wald). Matteo war ein guter Gastgeber, freundlich in der Kommunikation und immer erreichbar. Gerne wieder.

We had a lovely time at the cottage, enjoying three days of peace and quiet. It‘s amazing to destress and the hosts have been super friendly and lovely ☺️ The apartment has a fully stacked kitchen, which we loved and a big TV perfect for a movie night. We also really loved the games and coloring stuff, such a nice touch!

We had a family vacation at Davide house, there were five of us. The house is very conveniently located, quiet, cozy house, all the amenities. A luxurious garage, since we were by car, it was even a priority. Convenient entry into the underground parking. The house is very nice, two bedrooms and a living room. Very neat and beautiful territory around, a large table in the garden, we enjoyed having breakfast every morning. You could see the lake and enjoy the fresh air in silence. We liked everything very much, we felt at home. I am very grateful to Davide for his house and hospitality.

Excellent private place to stay. Designed with functionality and style in mind. Perfect way to end our busy European travel :)

We spent NYE at Nathalie's place, and it was simply magical. The apartment is wonderful, and that view breathtaking, especially at sunrises. Natahlie has been an amazing host, we did not have a car, and she came picking us up at Arona and drove us to the apartment. Superb experience, highly recommended!

Es ist ein sehr gemütliches Landhaus mitten in den Bergen auf einem kleinen Weingut. Wir haben uns sofort verliebt in diese Location. Der Blick auf die Berge, den hinter Palmen und Pampasgras versteckten Lago Maggiore und den Verzasca Staudamm ist sensationell. Es war sauber und alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Ein bisschen schwierig zu finden, doch Dank Albertos telefonischer Erreichbarkeit ging es dann sehr gut. Eine Parkmöglichkeit gibt es auch. Man hat tolle Wandermöglichkeiten, die uns Alberto als Empfehlung geschickt hat. Im nahen Gordola findet man auch alles was man braucht. Wir planen sehr gerne wieder zu kommen. Wenn man zur Porta Rossa läuft ist es als würde man in eine kleine Märchenwelt gehen. Resiga ist klein und heimelig, mit vielen Gassen, Pflanzen, und egal wo man hinschaut, man entdeckt an jeder Ecke etwas Neues. Die Unterkunft ist in einem sehr alten Haus gelegen und liebevoll eingerichtet, ein Highlight ist der romantische Innenhof. Parkplätze gibt es ausreichend entweder direkt am See oder etwas den Berg hinauf (jeweils ca. 3min Fußweg inkl. Treppen). Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, die Ausstattung vollkommen ausreichend und das Bett sehr bequem. Es gab sogar heizbaren in den Betten für die kalten Herbstnächte. Man erreicht mit dem Auto schnell die Region um Intra von wo aus viele Fährverbindungen abfahren, eine Pizzeria ist fussläufig zu erreichen. Birgit war jederzeit zuvorkommend und gut zu erreichen. Es hat uns sehr gefreut in die märchenhafte Welt von Resiga einzutauchen und können es nur jedem herzlichst empfehlen! :)
