This place is a gem (but don't tell anyone). I couldn't be happier with the accommodations, including the friendly and flexible manner our host displayed by going out of their way to take care of our "special needs". The actual home was laid out nicely, spacious and in a breathtaking wooded location with a partial view overlooking the splendor of Suttons Bay. So many great restaurants within a short drive and no shortage of outdoor recreational activities to take advantage of in this magnificent part of Michigan. Definitely coming back.

We stayed at Brandon and Katharina's for our spring break with friends and had a great time. There was plenty of space for our group (5 kids, ages ranging 11-16, and 4 adults) could be together in the large kitchen area or family room/game room or split up in separate areas. Our weather wasn't great so we made good use of the sauna, hot tub, and variety of games available to us. Communication with Brandon and Katharina was fantastic from the time we booked until we lest. We would definitely go back!

If you are looking for a getaway from the city, this is the perfect place for it. Katy's place feels like a cabin but with the modern amenities of a house. The living room is super cozy, they have a record player! So fun to listen to some oldies in there while cooking and a good fire. The deck it’s huge, we weren’t able to use it because it was pretty cold this time of the year but I bet in the summer is amazing! We loved the surroundings, looks like you’re in the middle of the forest but very close to some restaurants and wineries. We did a lot of hiking in the Sleeping Bear dunes and this was the perfect place to spend the night. The house looks exactly like the pictures, so we got what we expected. 100% recommended, I’m sure we’ll go back some time in the future :)

5 stars! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described —clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Dan & Christy were responsive, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our stay. We flew in from CA & GA and it truly felt like a home away from home. We definitely will stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Our family has been coming to Crystal Mountain for over 40 years. This was our first time staying in this house, and we have all agreed that this is where we will want to go for many years to come! The house is incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated, clean, and well organized. The amenities were perfect. The hot tub was clean and worked well. We had easy access to a quality washer and dryer, which made our stay even easier, and a gigantic pantry, which easily held all of the food and cooking materials we brought. All of the appliances were like new and worked great. The beds were comfortable, the linens clean, and there was just so much space for our family to spread out but yet still be together. I would not hesitate to recommend the space to anyone- especially if you have a larger group! They even had a pack ‘n play and a little highchair that attached to a chair for our youngest traveler! We also had plenty of room to store our suitcases without them being on our way.

absolutely LOVED Dorene and John’s getaway cabin! it’s very clean, and has a homey feel. they have anything you would absolutely need including, a bunch of dishes, towels, lots of extra pillows and blankets, and stocked on paper towel and toilet paper. their cabin is peaceful, we didn’t really see any neighbors but the group we did see were very friendly! this place was absolutely gorgeous, i definitely recommend!!

We loved staying at Navid and Julie’s place! It was a beautiful condo and setting! Very clean, peaceful and beautiful. We did have an issue with the driveway not being plowed when we arrived but Navid was diligent about getting that done. It was done later that night. We would love to stay again at this beautiful condo!

This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. The house is in a quiet area with easy parking and views and an easy walk to the bay. Check-in was simple, with Kate providing great instructions for the keypad to let ourselves in. The house was cozy with all amenities as described, and we felt right at home. All the Traverse City attractions were easy to get to, and Kate provided great recommendations. We had an awesome time and would definitely stay here again.

My family and I enjoyed this place. Super cute and cozy. Not too far from Boyne Mountain (we had a blast there!) My daughter enjoyed the hot tub. The view of the stars from the hot tub was AMAZING!!! Only con is the projector sound was too low. Having a sound system would make it better. Ultimately, i would stay there again. Super responsive host too.

Awesome stay at the Thompsonville Lodge! JT was a great host. Everything was in good order! Got a detailed guide in advance from JT with great local suggestions like Rosie’s Country Cafe. That’s another 5 star recommendation! A must go for an amazing breakfast! The whole place, including the Hot Tub, was immaculate! Kids loved the bunk bed in the loft area, and the arcade game that had a a ton of different playable titles. Great place all around, and would definitely stay again!

John & Kelly are not your typical hosts, they go above and beyond! By far the most magnificent hosts in my experience with AirBnB! Their communication is excellent and the home was completely clean and pristine. They also had a very detailed binder with not only everything you need to know about the house, but everything you should know about the location as well! They poured in their time to find great recommendations and ideas so that their guests can have the best possible experience! The quality of everything inside their home is definitely worth the price of the stay. John & Kelly and their home check all the boxes in what one is looking for in a great experience!

My partner and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. Clint was such a great host especially through this year’s historic ice storm. Great views and such a beautiful home. We will definitely be back again!
