The cabin was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. Everything was clean and fresh, including the hot tub. There are many small decorative touches that made it feel cozy. The view of the landscape from the living room was amazing. There was plenty of room that we could all be together, and also have our own space if desired. We did not use the deck, but it is also large and has a great view. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, cozy getaway from it all!

Ben’s cabin was a beautiful and peaceful. Me and my coworkers work away from home 75% of the year and stay in hotels. Staying at this cabin was a home away from home. It made us enjoy our career a little more and made us all around happy. Listening to the creek was relaxing and so wasn’t the hot tub. The host was very friendly and communicative and had a great sense of humor. We would 100% stay here again if we get the opportunity to work in the area again.

Joshua was a great host and was very communicative. There was plenty of space both indoors and out. The house was spotless and felt very welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked and really lacked nothing. The outside had great amenities as well - two outdoor fire areas, a stocked fishing pond and a hot tub! It was perfectly situated for our friends weekend and close to Punxsutawney where we wanted to visit. We would definitely stay at Joshua’s place again if we were ever back in the area.

We have stayed here twice before and enjoyed all stays. Winter or summer. We will be back again. Brooke has always been responsive to our requests.

We had at a wonderful overnight stay at Jeff and Tara’s cabin. Very quiet and peaceful especially when that can be enjoyed in the hot tub!! My son told me to give them a 5 star review and additional 5 star review bc the cabin was beautiful,it had a hot tub and the upstairs bed was super comfy! Highly recommend their cabin but make sure you have a vehicle that sits up high bc the road going to the camp is rough going up(which is stated in their listing). We definitely plan to come back!

We had a great weekend at the beautiful Copper Kettle Lodge! The game sheds and the hot tub kept us entertained in the evening after we traveled through the area in the afternoon. I hope to return again during the warmer months!

We traveled five hours to the cabin in order to see the dark sky. We even brought a telescope. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans and we weren't able to see the sky. Bummer. We did however see our first elk herd traipse through the yard, what a beautiful sight. The cabin was beautiful. Super clean, and had a coffee lover's dream coffee cabinet. There were dog blankets provided for the furniture which was a great touch. We always travel with our own. It's close to lots of hiking trails which we really appreciated. Lorie was a super host. I can see why her rating is so high.

The cabin was nothing short of amazing and Dylan was very responsive and a great host. I live in a big city and needed to relax for an evening and wanted to see some Elk. This is the perfect place to say if you are in the area. Has everything you need + an amazing hot tub and a very relaxing/ cozy environment. The location is perfect- right in the middle of Weedville and Benezette- I enjoyed both towns. The best part were the Elk! I saw a ton! There are 4-5 main viewing areas in Benezette and if you get up early and drive around the spots from 7-8:30am or in the evening before dark you have a great chance at seeing them. They were moving all around the morning of my stay. Probably saw 40+ including 5 massive bulls with antlers at two different sites. Never thought I needed to see some elk and be out in this beautiful nature but it sure was therapeutic. Will be back next time I need to reset my mind and get away!

Great stay for my family of five! My husband, our two littles, and our pup wanted a last minute weekend getaway and Richard made everything so easy! From flexible check in, to prompt communication, he was great to work with. The place was quiet, felt so homey, and had EVERYTHING you could want. Richard even set up a pack and play for our daughter so we didn’t have to bring one. Close to a lot of trails but nothing directly walkable from the house, and most attractions and stores were closed off season, but would be great to come back to in the spring or summer.

The cabin was on the river and had a very nice yard that sloped right down to the water. It was November and we did fish a little but were unlucky. I would definitely rent this in the summer just to play in the water. There was fire wood and a great fire pit. The deck and furniture were excellent. The cabin was spotless and had amenities that I did not expect--dish soap, kitchen towels, washer, dryer. etc. The only possible negative comment is that the sitting area was combined with the kitchen so the TVs were located in the bedrooms. This would have been fine had it been more than my husband and I. We usually travel with family and never turn on a TV. The host, Erwin, communicated well and made sure we could contact him at any time with any questions. I would rent again from him with confidence.

My wife and I needed a quick getaway weekend, Shirley's place fit the bill. The area was very quiet and a short walk across the street was their horse barn and a nice relaxing creek. On arrival a barn cat greeted us. Shirley was very helpful with any problems we encountered which were minimal. My wife really enjoyed the fire pit. We like to hike and Shirley's place was a short drive to some nice hiking trails. We would definitely stay there again.

Beth has great communications and was involved with every aspect of the stay. The property was great for our kids. The were able to play in the creek and the woods behind the cabin. The location was exceptional and was priced accordingly. I would definitely recommend to stay at this cabin due to its rustic charm but beware of the hardwood floors as 2 kids got splinters, in their feet in the first 5 minutes there, all in all 5 stars

We had a wonderful 2 week stay in march. Such a peaceful place. The cabin was the cleanest we have been in. They met us at check in and helped us unload and get everything in. I had a total knee replacement and my Mom is 80 and we had everything but the kitchen sink to unload hahaa. It was wonderful! I give the place 5 stars for sure. We will return!!

Rhonda and Dennis were very friendly and accommodating. They plowed the roads for us after a snowfall and even laid down gravel during our stay to ensure we could get our cars out. The cabin was exactly as advertised, and we were very happy with it. The beds were soft and comfortable, making for an easy and restful sleep. My friends and I had a great time staying here!

Great cabin in the woods. Went in winter definitely need all wheel drive but not terrible. Martha was extremely helpful and responsive. Everything was clean and it was like a home with everything in the kitchen and the extras in the bathroom. Very roomy with multiple bedrooms we didn’t even use. Loved it

Even better than the photos, the perfect place for a weekend getaway! Pamela was responsive and incredibly thoughtful to leave us wine and chocolates for Valentine’s Day.

My family and I stayed to see the groundhog! The cabin was beautiful plus it was so much land and so peaceful! The lake was frozen over and snow all over which was gorgeous. Tammy was so helpful and her recommendations were very helpful. if you visit during winter be sure you have a 4 wheel drive car and be aware the driveway up to the cabin can ice over so be careful or just do what we did and park at the bottom. We had such a fun time and cant recommend this place enough!

I had the pleasure of meeting Becca’s co-host, Joan. I arrived early and she told me to go on in! We sat a chatted for a bit and it was like talking to some folks you hadn’t seen in a while, what a pleasure. Great people, great place, and great stay! I hope I find myself in the area again to enjoy the peace and quiet!

This place was great. Large space with enough room for everyone. Beautiful log cabin feel in a secluded area. Host was able to accommodate early check in as we reached out a few weeks in advance. Would book again!

Stayed at Elk Pines over the weekend. Place was close to Elk viewing and restaurants. Home was very spacious and nicely remodeled. One suggestion would be to insulate the floor. With temps dropping the heater won't keep up in the family area. Overall a nice place and Elk actually did creep up one evening.

This is a really nice place to stay. Maybe one of the better places that I have stayed in this area. Very clean. Only problem there was concerned getting the oven to work. Had to really smash down on the bake button to get it to work. Host was pretty responsive, property was clean and taken care of. It’s all bunk beds but they were surprisingly comfortable. Very large front room with large wrap around couch, 2 recliners and large dining table. Two bedrooms with 2 bunk beds each. Also a very small washing machine and dryer. It does sit in a very little community (maybe 10 to 15 other homes) so if you’re looking for solitude away from everything, then this is not the place. It’s 9 miles to Ridgway which was convenient to get supplies. It’s a short drive to everything the highlands has to offer. If you’re looking for a place to stay in the area, I’d definitely give this place consideration.
