great place to go down back roads way out in the boonies. very quiet. Hot tube was nice but wasn't hot enough. it was more like Luke warm bath water.

This house was absolutely perfect for our stay with our two dogs! We could immediately tell that a lot of love and detail went into curating this home from the dog toys, bowls, and poop stations outside to the cozy atmosphere inside. Definitely recommend staying here with your pups!

Rick and Bernadette were great hosts. They were very responsive and quickly answered any questions. Bernadette gave instructions on local grocery stores and laundry (we had a lot of laundry to do after days of no electric). Rick gave us great info regarding the water around the property. we had children and wanted to venture in and around the water on the kayak and flat bottom we rented. we had a great time and my family recommends to those looking for a safe and fun place to hang out by the lake. we took our dog with us who is 3 and sticks close to us. he was able to enjoy the lake and outdoors along with everyone else. they had a bonfire rolling a few nights due to all the wood that accumulated during the storm. we saw a family of ducks on the water. it was peaceful and the sunset was so pretty. there were plenty of linenes and towels for our group. we rented cabin 4 and had ample space. I'm recommending to a client of mines and discovered you can book direct also.

Decided to book a short little trip with my family to get out of Houston for the weekend. We had a great time and found the cabin quite relaxing. Exactly what we were looking for :) Btw, the view of the sunset from their shoreline is absolutely stunning. Highly recommend for anyone from Houston wanting to get out of town for a few days.

Wonderful stay! Dogs loved it and we loved getting to experience a trip with them.

This cabin is amazing! It was me and my family’s safe haven after going 3 days without power due to Hurricane Beryl. We were so happy to find somewhere so cozy and cool to finally rest at with our doggies. We will definitely be back to enjoy the lake view and camp fire soon! Andrea was also super responsive, attentive and most importantly kind. We can’t thank her enough for accommodating us as quickly as possible during such a difficult time!

Terry's place is such a nice little getaway if you want somewhere friendly , peaceful , where kids can explore outside, fish, make smore and just be kids. Terry reminded me of like an adoptive grandfather. At first it was odd to be offered dinner because Noone does that anymore but he truly does have a good soul with unmatched kindness. He supplied things for my kids to fish in the little pond out back and was very patient with my oldest curiosities. Definitely a very warm inviting place. The pictures don't do the cabin justice. Inside is kept very clean. We will definitely be back

This was the easiest check in I've ever experienced, and the most beautifully decorated house we've stayed at. It was decorated with fall items, plenty of pillows and blankets to accommodate our guests, shampoo/conditioner/body wash/towels all provided just like a hotel. My group was raving about the peacefulness and beauty of the property. Perfect for our work trip and enjoyed the fire after a long day at our event. Everything was clean and easily accessible, from wine glasses to cooking supplies, this place has it all. Zero complaints, only great memories.
