Gerrit’s place was perfect for our family gathering. It was near the lake and extremely family friendly. He was great was communication and made us feel welcome. Highly recommend!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful farmhouse! The layout was perfect for us, with the game room on the other side of the house offering a fun space to unwind. The large kitchen island and well-equipped butler's pantry made Christmas cookie baking a breeze! We loved starting our mornings by watching the sunrise and relaxing in the hot tub right out front. Evenings were made extra special with quick s'mores around the fire pit. The Christmas tree added a festive touch, making our holiday stay feel extra cozy. The peaceful and scenic surroundings were the icing on the cake. We couldn’t have asked for a more serene and beautiful location. We hope to return and celebrate more holidays here in the future. This was a great place to stay and we enjoyed it. Great view from the fire pit area. Really wide open area in the kitchen and living area. It has a hunting lodge feel for those that like that set up.

I absolutely loved how clean it was, how responsive Michelle was. It was quiet and peaceful. Very close to the water, within walking distance. Felt like home and comfortable.

If you seek peace, reflection, and beautiful views provided by a truly gracious host, then this is where you should go. Staying here reminded me of the days when Air BnB first came about; a day where the actual host communicated with you rather than a 3rd party and didn’t just give you a house, but they gave you a home. It was clean, comfortable, cozy, full of amenities for cooking, a whole lot of complimentary snacks, great communicable neighbors with sincere joyousness. If you’re questioning at all where to stay, you shouldn’t, because this is it.

The house was as described. Was furnished with anything you could need and more. Very easy to deal with and helpful with all questions. Very clean and well kept. Great place to stay

Really beautiful views and a very nice house. Walker valley boat landing is within walking distance of the house (half mile or so). That was very convenient!
