what can I say? it was heaven. the cabin was beautiful, even nicer than the pics if that's possible. it was warm, clean, cosy and had all the amentities you could want. the views were incredible. the hosts came back really quickly to any questions, I really can't rate it enough. we're not even home 24 hours and already planning our next trip!

This cabin is a really jewel in the heart of Lyngen. The surrounding Is simply amazing, the Sea in front of and the Alps behind. One afternoon we started with our skies from the house to go up to the woods and after the descent we chilled up in the jacuzzi and sauna under a soft snowstorm. Unbeliveble. The first day were thoughs times due to and artic storm, infact we were stocked in Tromsoe, but the communication with the host was perfect and they really help us to arrive at home. Thank you for everything! Absolutely reccomended.

Am struggling to write a review without sounding over the top or insincere - Finn and Marianne were the perfect hosts in every way. The cabin and surroundings are even more spacious and beautiful than the photos. Finn was the most responsive host, he gave us tips to see the Northern lights and even messaged when they were the most active! They gave advice on a car borrowing site when we had to amend our dates last minute (Getaround) when there were no other hire car options during the busy period in Norway. They legitimately saved our trip (and us alot of money in the process, as this option was also far cheaper than traditional car rental agencies). They and the cabin both exceeded every expectation, would recommend hugely! Was the perfect, peaceful stay.

Die Lange ist hervorragend und der Ausblick auf das Panorama traumhaft.🤩 Wir konnten direkt vom Haus aus die Polarlichter beobachten. Die Unterkunft hat alles, was man braucht und ist sehr gemütlich. (Nur ein kleiner Hinweis: es gibt kein Gefrierschrank) Wir wären am liebsten gar nicht abgereist.

Dear Anne, thank you very much for having us! We have stayed at Anne’s house for almost two weeks and with two different companies: first with friends and then with my husband’s parents. We had amazing time both times. The best things about the house: 1. The view is incredible. Having your first cup of coffee with this view is priceless 2. The house is right on the ski slopes. We could ski in/ski out, making it easy to go ski even for a short period of time 3. The jacuzzi is amazing. We used it sometimes during the sunset time and sometimes late at night for Aurora watching 4. You can see Auroras right from the living room and the jacuzzi is really the best for watching them since you don’t get cold 5. This is the best stocked house I have ever stayed at - it had everything. We could really feel that it’s Anne’s second home, not just a rental house Anne is great as a host as well: friendly, responsive and helpful. We felt welcome and had the best time!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem schönen Airbnb direkt am See. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – umgeben von unberührter Natur, ideal zum Entspannen und Erholen. Ein besonderes Highlight war das Beobachten der Nordlichter, das Eisbaden und das Langlaufen direkt auf dem zugefrorenen See – ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Auch für E-Autos ist die Unterkunft ideal, da eine Ladestation direkt vor Ort vorhanden ist. Die Kommunikation mit Joakim war äußerst angenehm – er antwortet schnell und unkompliziert, sodass alles reibungslos verlief. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

Alles war super. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und flexibel. Die Küchenausstattung ist natürlich sehr beschränkt, weil es klein ist. Schliesslich ist es auch auf einem Camping. Duschen und WC sind ausserhalb, aber nicht weit weg. die Hütte hat kein fliessendes Wasser, keine eigene Dusche und kein WC. Dafür ist ein grosser Wasserbehälter vorhanden. Unbedingt eigenes Badetuch mitnehmen. Es war sehr ruhig und schön und ich hatte in der Nacht (es ist Ende Februar) sogar das Glück, Nordlichter zu sehen. Die Hauptstrasse (E6) liegt zwar unmittelbar neben dem Platz, ist in der Nacht aber kaum gefahren. Ich habe wunderbar schlafen können.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich dort wo sich Fuchs und Hase gute Nacht sagen. Hase haben wir immerhin einmal gesehen, wie auch ein flinker Wiesel und schon fast zutrauliche Rentiere. Es ist ruhig und bietet eine Sensationelle Aussicht auf das Meer und in der Nacht auf Nordlichter. Beim Welcom hat uns Ann-Karin ein Brot und ein Konfi übergeben, vielen Dank, durften wir hier einige Ferientage verbringen

Très bel endroit. Proche de la nature. Nous avons eu la chance d'observer un aigle pêcheur depuis la cabane le matin et des aurores boréales le soir. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter si l'occasion se présente. Un grand merci à toi May-Tordis pour nous avoir hébergé dans ta cabane.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Melissa ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin, sie hat immer schnell geantwortet und war jederzeit erreichbar. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wohl und kann den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genießen. Besonders schön war der tolle Blick. Eine klare Empfehlung.

We had a lovely stay at the cabin. Rune and Ove really went over and above to help us have an enjoyable and stress free visit. The sauna was amazing and we were lucky enough to see the northern lights dancing over Narvik. I hope i get the chance to revisit, I couldn't recommend it enough.

This place truly feels like a family home not only is it warmly furnished, but it also has a beautiful soul. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt completely at ease and instantly at home. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered from batteries and pens to board games and a variety of candles. These may seem like small things, but when you’re staying in a home for a while, they become surprisingly essential. Their presence speaks volumes about the host’s kindness and hospitality. Everything was exactly as described.The key system, the dishwasher, the oven, the stove all easy to use and clearly explained. The house was clean, well-organized, and welcoming. After our intense trip to Svalbard, with its stunning Northern Lights and breathtaking nature, this home gave us the perfect place to rest and recharge both physically and emotionally. Thank you so much. We truly hope to return someday. With love.

Not much to add to previous reviews. Anyone looking for a remote cabin in the wild will find this place a luxury. Fully equipped with virtually anything that comes to mind (both for culinary and sporting delights), the only disadvantage is the full 5G signal. With spectacular mountain range behind your back, and the Jaegervatnet lake and a bit of fjord in front, the place is simply an amazing spot. Saw aurora every night. Good people still exist and one of them is Anton. Will come again.

It's really nice to live there! We enjoyed the sea view, snow and sunshine in two days. Luckily, we saw aurora for both nights! Highly recommend this awesome place 😃

Sehr heimeliges Häuschen, schön eingerichtet, gemütliche Atmosphäre und gut ausgerüstete Küche. Polarlichter vor der Türe. Ausflüge/Sehenswürdigkeiten sind innerhalb von 45 Minuten erreichbar. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Really beautiful house in the far countryside. A lot of snow like we were dreaming of ! The host was really nice and friendly. The house is beautiful, clean, well equipped and super-insulation for winter, all made of wood. Very traditional WiFi works perfectly. Cooking was easy. One hour far from Tromso-center Thanks a lot ! I hope we will be back for one or 2 weeks

Super verblijf gehad! Huisje was mooier in het echt dan op de foto’s. Omgeving was ook prachtig. Anders is heel vriendelijk en beantwoord al je vragen. Laatste dag van ons verblijf reden er alleen geen bussen, omdat het weekend was waardoor wij de laatste nacht wilde annuleren en dit was geen probleem. Je bent 45 minuten van de stad, maar als je rust wilt en dichterbij de natuur wilt zijn is dit een geweldige plek! Openbaar vervoer is goed te doen vanaf het huisje met de app Svipper. Al met al hebben wij genoten hier en raad het iedereen aan!

This is a beautiful AirBnB. The location is breathtaking… the veranda overlooks a huge lake and mountains. The lake was frozen and everything covered in undisturbed snow. The cabin was very warm and comfortable - an extremely efficient wood-burner. The hosts were amazing. Their son (Alex) picked us up from the airport and drove us to the cabin via a supermarket. He then escorted us to the cabin, a 30 minute walk along a track in the snow. They provided a sledge for our food and rucksacks. They also provided us each with snow shoes and poles. We spent our days hiking through the most spectacular surroundings - the silence and beauty of the location is out of this world. On our last evening, the sky was clear and we were blessed with a 6 hours display of the Aurora. Alex gave us a scenic tour on the way back to Tromso, with a stop a little farm shop for a traditional Norwegian lunch. This was one of the most spectacular experiences we’ve ever had… :)

Had an amazing 4 nights in Lisa’s cabin. It really is something special. We saw Reindeer and a Terrific northern lights show! Absolutely stunning location, very peaceful and quiet. Lisa is an amazing host, always on hand to help and answer questions. We will remember this trip for a very long time!!
