One of our favorite stays! The view was impeccable and it felt right at home. Jani is an excellent communicator and was able to help us quickly to find things around the house and called a taxi for us. We are definitely staying here next time we’re in Tromsø

Merci de nous avoir accueillis, merci pour votre gentillesse, merci pour ce que vous faites dans le programme d'aide aux enfants, merci de nous avoir aidés avec le sauna et de nous avoir encouragés à nous baigner en sortant : une expérience très bénéfique pour notre calme intérieur. Les animaux sont vraiment un plus ! Merci à Tinka pour sa gentillesse, sa douceur et sa joie avec les enfants ! Merci au chef pour les dîners et petits déjeuners d'une qualité exceptionnelle ! au passage votre histoire commune est si belle ! et merci de s'appliquer à utiliser des produits frais et réellement locaux (viandes de la ferme ou de chasse alentours, poisson pêché dans le fjord, baies sauvages et tout le reste cultivé sur place, pain maison excellent).... Bref ! à bientôt !

La maison est spacieuse, très bien chauffée (chauffage au sol dans l'entrée et les salles de bain très agréable), avec une magnifique vue depuis le balcon (d'où l'on peut voir les aurores par temps clair!). Tout était très propre et cosy. Nous voyagions avec toute la famille avec deux bébés (9 mois et 2 ans et demi), il y avait des lits et des chaises hautes pour les deux. La cuisine est très bien équipée, mieux qu'espéré! La rampe d'accès pour les voitures est légèrement en pente, ce qui peut être un peu glissant en hiver mais les voitures de location sur place (4 roues motrices) sont tout à fait adaptées. Il y a une supérette accessible à pied (3min) et une borne de recharge pour voiture à 5min. Tom est très réactif pour toutes nos questions.

Hands down the nicest Airbnb we’ve stayed in! A beautiful, cosy and well-equipped home in a stunning location. A great base for exploring the sights of Tromsø and beyond. We were a large group of 8 people and the house accommodated us perfectly, with a second sitting room upstairs for the kids to chill out in and 5 comfortable bedrooms. We saw the northern lights from the terrace on our first evening and then in even more spectacular fashion on the big bus tour to Grunnfjord. We used the #28 bus to travel into the city centre- service was regular and comfortable and the stop is directly in front of the house. Download the Svipper app for the times and to buy tickets. We enjoyed cooking in the fabulous kitchen and watching the sunset over the mountains. The beds were so comfortable we slept like babies. The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly and responsive. We really appreciated the welcome basket ❤️ We’d love to return. Thank you Thomas and Siren for a wonderful stay.

Such a beautiful place in a secluded breathtaking town. The extra half bath in the basement was a bonus. All bedrooms are upstairs and main bathroom is downstairs. If we ever visit Senja again, this is the house hands down.

The apartment is big and very luxurious. The location is also perfect and has grocery shop and restaurants nearby. We really felt like home, it provided us warmth and comfort. Wenche is really helpful and very responsive. Wenche always helped us with whatever we wanted. We also saw northern lights from this apartment which was magical!! If you are travelling to tromso, then you must definitely stay at Wenche’s apartment, you will never regret it trust me!

We are a family of 4 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Host was very responsive and even let us know when the northern lights were active. The house was warm and comfortable and has a great view of the city and the water. It is a very short walk to the bus - which was a quick ride into town and was very easy, plus is a short walk to a local supermarket. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had an amazing time and were incredibly fortunate to witness the northern lights — truly a dream come true. Choosing Viktor and Trude as our hosts was the best decision. Their glowing reviews were spot on! The house was beautiful, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay, always being readily available for any questions. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

An absolutely beautiful place to stay

Roger's home is fabulous! The location is in a quiet neighborhood that is a very easy walk to the grocery store and a nice stroll to downtown. Our group of 3 couples spent our downtime around the large kitchen table enjoying the sea views and watching boats and ships cruise by. We appreciated Roger's recommendations for restaurants. We had dinner at Skarven Kro. It was wonderful. Despite the chilly weater we used both the jacuzzi and sauna.

Lisbeth est une hôte discrète et très prévenante. Le logement proposé est extrêmement confortable et parfaitement propre. Il est accessible à pied depuis le centre ville (environ 20 minutes) et situé à 3 minutes d'un arrêt de bus (bus n°26 qui dessert le centre-ville et l'aéroport) et d'un supermarché. Nous avons passé un incroyable séjour et recommandons chaleureusement le logement de Lisbeth.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The host was amazing—super helpful and full of great tips. The location couldn’t be better, and the view from the apartment was simply stunning and magical. The apartment itself was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable for the five of us. The bathroom was huge, and the shower was incredible! The terrace was beautiful and the perfect spot to watch the auroras. Highly recommend this place!

Io ed il mio compagno abbiamo trascorso quattro giorni meravigliosi a Tromsø, soggiornando a casa di Silja. L’appartamento era spazioso, ordinato e accogliente, situato in una zona tranquilla ma strategica: a soli 5 minuti dalla fermata dell’autobus che porta in centro e a 10 minuti da quella per l’aeroporto. Inoltre, a pochi minuti a piedi si trova un bellissimo lago da cui è possibile ammirare l’aurora boreale in tutta la sua magnificenza. E, cosa ancora più incredibile, abbiamo avuto la fortuna di vederla anche direttamente dal balcone di casa! Un enorme grazie va a Silja, una padrona di casa eccezionale, sempre disponibile e pronta a darci consigli preziosi su come goderci al meglio il nostro soggiorno. È stata un’esperienza indimenticabile, un viaggio che ci ha regalato emozioni uniche. Una vacanza da sogno che consigliamo a chiunque voglia scoprire la magia di Tromsø!

Excellent experience, I would definitely come back! The house was super clean, warm, and well-equipped. It's located right by the sea, super quiet zone, you can't hear any cars, and you're surrounded by mountains. There's a supermarket near the house that has everything. But if you arrive very late, I recommend bringing food because it will be closed. I highly recommend this Airbnb. Grete and her husband were very kind and helpful at all times. Deuxième séjour dans cet appartement idéalement situé face à la mer. La vue est toujours aussi époustouflante. L’aménagement a été amélioré depuis l’an dernier, avec un lit double plus large dans la chambre: super! Tout l’équipement nécessaire pour passer un séjour agréable est présent. Le centre-ville est facilement accessible en 15 minutes en bus. Un seul petit bémol pour la propreté, qui pourrait être un peu améliorée (mais rien de bien grave non plus). Nous serions ravis d’y séjourner à nouveau dans le futur.

We were a party of 4 adults and have just returned from a 4 night stay in Markus’s apartment. Markus was an excellent host and was quick to communicate. We had our flight times changed on the way out and he kindly let us leave our luggage at the apartment when we arrived (way before check in time). The apartment was well equipped and spacious for 4 adults. There was a large supermarket less than 5 mins walk from the apartment which made it easy for eating in. Plenty of taxis at airport for transfers. For the remainder of the stay we used the buses. The number 28 takes you into the centre of Tromso in about 15 mins and the buses run regularly. The bus stop is a 2 min walk from apartment. A week’s travel card costs around £20 so good value for money. Hi lights of the week were; seeing the Northern lights, sledging with huskies, snow shoe walk, feeding reindeers and a fjord cruise. Would recommend staying in Markus’s apartment - views are fantastic!

Wir waren 6 Nächte in Ibens Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr gemütlich und sauber mit einem atemberaubenden Blick über Tromsø. Nur wenige Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt. Sehr bequeme Betten und im Bad Fußbodenheizung. Check in und Check out problemlos über Schlüsselbox. Zur Begrüßung gab es ein leckeres Bier. Iben und Eirik sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Auf Fragen bekamen wir zügig eine Antwort. Wir können die Wohnung und die Gastgeber uneingeschränkt empfehlen und hoffen nächstes Jahr wiederkommen zu können.

Espen was nice enough to grant us an earlier check-in than normal due to our very early flight to Tromsø, which was great. The appartement was nice and tidy when we arrived and exactly what we expected. We could easily walk to the town from the appartement within 20 minutes, enjoying the sights on our way down and up. Overall, it was a great stay and we would recommend this if you want a place to stay just outside of the center of Tromsø.

Ci siamo trovati bene nell'appartamento di Casper. La posizione è ottima per visitare tutte le cose importanti della città a piedi. La comunicazione è ottima e in caso di necessità Casper risponde immediatamente. Consiglio vivamente questo alloggio per passare una buona vacanza a Tromso.

The location is peaceful and perfect for a quiet retreat, yet conveniently accessible. The cable car Fjellheisen, bus stop, and grocery store are all nearby. Jarl and Frøydis are excellent hosts, and the place fully lives up to its glowing reviews. They provide all essential amenities, with the added bonus of micro-spikes for winter, which were incredibly useful. Jarl also shared some great local tips that we really appreciated. Highly recommended!

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, auf der anderen Seite der Stadt. Die Bushaltestelle ist tatsächlich direkt vor der Tür, so dass du in 10 Minuten mitten im Zentrum bist. Die Aussicht aus dem Apartment ist fantastisch und das Apartment ist sehr schön eingerichtet, es hat eine persönliche schönr Note. Sissel ist eine sehr gute Gastgeberin und hat uns gleich mit einigen Lebensmitteln versorgt. Der nächste Einkausmarkt ist 4Busminuten entfernt oder 15min zu Fuß . Alles ist sehr sauber sauber und wohnlich. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und im Badezimmer ist alles, was man braucht. Wir können das Apartment sehr empfehlen . Wer es lieber etwas ruhiger mag, und eine tolle Aussicht liebt, ist dir genau richtig. Der Weg ins Zentrum ist mit Buslinie 42 unkompliziert und schnell. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder

the apartment was very clean, tidy and had a very homely feel about it. no noise at all from neighbouring properties. The location of the property is excellent, being in the centre of Tromso and easy access to the many tour collection points which means you don't need to get taxis and buses at all ( except for the airport which is around 15mins away by taxi). The host Johanne was very friendly, flexible and replied to any queries very quickly. Overall, a very good break in a lovely apartment with great support from Johanne.
