We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment! The views are amazing and it was very relaxing watching the snow fall and see the lights from the city. We made good use of the kitchen and appreciated being able to eat many meals in rather than relying on restaurants. The apartment was very comfortable and we loved the heated floors in the entry way and bathrooms. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here if we make it back to Tromsø someday.

La casa di Bettina e Urs è un gioiellino, pulita e ben organizzata. Ci sono molte caratteristiche uniche come l'altalena in casa, l'amaca, la sala yoga, la sauna, un sacco di giochi. È posizionata in una zona tranquilla, silenziosa e con una bellissima vista sul fiordo ( e anche abbastanza buia per vedere l'aurora). Le fermate dell'autobus sono molto vicine, ma visto il ghiaccio e la pendenza delle strade, noi abbiamo preferito la macchina. Bettina e Urs sono estremamente gentili e disponibili, ci sarebbe piaciuto conoscerli di persona.

Great choice for a stay in Tromso. The hosts are nice and their place is quite good. They even gave us lift to the bus stop. The facility has most of the comforts that a traveler looks for. Everything was clean and tastefully decorated. The cottage was by the sea and provided scenic views. We got a perfect kitchen with all the essentials like oil already available.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour. La maison est vraiment accueillante et confortable. Les hôtes vivaient dans l’appartement du dessous mais sont restés très discret. La vue depuis le salon et les chambres est vraiment belle du matin jusqu’aux petites lumières du soir. La maison est très bien équipé comme si nous étions chez nous.

Logement superbe. On y trouve tout ce dont on a besoin. La literie est de qualité. La vue sur Tromsø est splendide. L'hôte est disponible et réactif. Le logement est bien situé, on peut se rendre en centre-ville en quelques minutes en bus ou en voiture. Et en bonus, nous avons eu la chance d'observer des aurores boréales depuis le balcon. On recommande ce logement sans hésitation !

Oddmas Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Siedlung, ziemlich am Ende von Tromsdalen. Ist aber sehr gut erreichbar, ca. 1,3 km von der Eismeerkathedale entfernt. Auf dem Weg auch ein Eurospar. Die Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet, man betritt sie per PIN-Schloss. Bereits mollig warm bei der Ankunft, herrlicher Blick auf die Berge. Parkplatz direkt am Haus, sehr gutes WLAN. Oddmar persönlich haben wir nicht treffen können, aber er war stets schnell via AirBnB App erreichbar. Die Betten sind weich und etwas schmal, die Decken warm und kuschelig. Für uns als Nichtraucher sehr positiv, dass es eine strikte Nichtraucherwohnung ist, auch auf dem Balkon und vor dem Haus herrscht Rauchverbot. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und werden gern einmal wiederkommen.

Nice, spacious, cozy and warm house with great views. Traditional wooden building but with modern kitchen and bathroom, fully equipped and lots of space around. It’s a great choice if you want to be in a peaceful setting while still close to Tromsø, shops and tourist attractions (by car). Jan-Ola is very responsive and always there to help with suggestions etc. We had a great stay.

Hands down the nicest Airbnb we’ve stayed in! A beautiful, cosy and well-equipped home in a stunning location. A great base for exploring the sights of Tromsø and beyond. We were a large group of 8 people and the house accommodated us perfectly, with a second sitting room upstairs for the kids to chill out in and 5 comfortable bedrooms. We saw the northern lights from the terrace on our first evening and then in even more spectacular fashion on the big bus tour to Grunnfjord. We used the #28 bus to travel into the city centre- service was regular and comfortable and the stop is directly in front of the house. Download the Svipper app for the times and to buy tickets. We enjoyed cooking in the fabulous kitchen and watching the sunset over the mountains. The beds were so comfortable we slept like babies. The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly and responsive. We really appreciated the welcome basket ❤️ We’d love to return. Thank you Thomas and Siren for a wonderful stay.

Roger's home is fabulous! The location is in a quiet neighborhood that is a very easy walk to the grocery store and a nice stroll to downtown. Our group of 3 couples spent our downtime around the large kitchen table enjoying the sea views and watching boats and ships cruise by. We appreciated Roger's recommendations for restaurants. We had dinner at Skarven Kro. It was wonderful. Despite the chilly weater we used both the jacuzzi and sauna.

The geographical location is very good. It is convenient to go anywhere by subway and bus. The landlord is very enthusiastic, the message is replied in seconds, and the problem can be solved at any time. The room is clean and comfortable, and the decoration is very warm. It is like living at home. The only problem is that don't turn on too many electrical appliances at the same time (such as kettle+ washing machine), which are easy to trip, and there are no other problems. Overall, I am very satisfied. I recommend it!

Susanne is a great host, my night flight got delayed and she was awake and stay communicated with me all the way till check in. It's a relief that Sussane is kind to help me with my luggage as the entrance to airbnb was very slippery with ice. It's a value for money stay for a female solo traveller, bus stop is accessible easily during the day time. I have to walk back from the port at night around midnight, but the street is well lit, so it is ok to walk. The house is very nice and cozy, hot water shower runs well. I got to use the washer too, which is great. Thank you, Sussane. ☺️

It is fully equipped apartment with every appliance you could ask for. the apartment was very clean and nearby city center. the host is very responsive and allowed us to check in early. We enjoyed our stay

We had a lovely stay in Mathias’s home. The flat looks just like the photos, and it’s a quick and easy 10-15 minute walk to most shops, restaurants, etc in central Tromso. Conveniently located to the wonderful Vervet Bakeri nearby. Would stay here again!

A stones throw away from the centre of Tromso, Margits home was ideal for any holiday goers and travellers. The home was as described and Margit was very helpful and quick to respond with questions. A perfect spot for anyone looking to explore Tromso

Die Wohnung in der alten Villa ist stilvoll und grosszügig. Aus dem Wohnzimmer und vom kleinen Balkon hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Fjord und kann mit etwas Glück wunderbar Nordlichter beobachten. Die Fussdistanz zum Zentrum macht alles einfacher.

Deuxième séjour dans cet appartement idéalement situé face à la mer. La vue est toujours aussi époustouflante. L’aménagement a été amélioré depuis l’an dernier, avec un lit double plus large dans la chambre: super! Tout l’équipement nécessaire pour passer un séjour agréable est présent. Le centre-ville est facilement accessible en 15 minutes en bus. Un seul petit bémol pour la propreté, qui pourrait être un peu améliorée (mais rien de bien grave non plus). Nous serions ravis d’y séjourner à nouveau dans le futur.

We had an amazing time in Vengsøy! The cabin, the view, and the island were like something out of a Norwegian winter fairy tale. Maria is incredibly friendly and offered us many great tips about the area. She's very warm and welcoming. We did the hike to Hundbergtinden, and it was absolutely breathtaking – we were the only ones there! Vengsøy, the cabins, and especially Maria are highly recommended. We hope to return soon! ❄️❤️

Really beautiful house in the far countryside. A lot of snow like we were dreaming of ! The host was really nice and friendly. The house is beautiful, clean, well equipped and super-insulation for winter, all made of wood. Very traditional WiFi works perfectly. Cooking was easy. One hour far from Tromso-center Thanks a lot ! I hope we will be back for one or 2 weeks

The cabin was perfect to calm down and to watch the northern lights. It has really everthing you need (besides Wifi, but wasn‘t necessary for us) and it was so cozy. We really enjoyed our stay there and would definetely come back! Svein is a perfect host! He provided lot of information and was really helpful (we had some issues with getting a rental car in Tromsø). Couldn‘t have been better! Thank you so much for hosting us 🥰

Amazing place to stay! Easy to get to with a hire car, instructions and directions from the host were clear. Host was responsive and flexible with check-in as we asked if we were able to check-in earlier. Very clean and cosy and has everything you need. We bought our own food on the way to the cabin but there was also a lot of shelf stable things in the kitchen too, probably from the host as well as previous people staying there. There are some nearby hikes which were nice, the area is very picturesque, and we also saw the northern lights from the cabin! Overall, amazing and would recommend to anyone to stay here!

Absolutely stunning location - we didn’t want to leave!… The cabin is super cosy, warm with lots of space. Really great place to relax and unwind and appreciate the gorgeous surroundings. The cabin was spotless with traditional decor and the facilities at the cabin were great (for a couple or a family) Yngve was the perfect host - always a quick response and happy to help with anything. He sent perfect instructions. It was really easy to find the cabin (40 minutes from Tromso centre) and check-in was a breeze. Yngve also helped with great recommendations of places to visit and restaurants etc We felt very safe, warm and welcome. The absolute cherry on top was the hot tub - fabulous under the stars and trees!! We would go back in a heart beat Love this place

Its hard to overstate our enjoyment staying at Andreas’s cabin. This is a beautiful location about 25 minutes drive from Tromso. The cabin is welcoming and private. The views are spectacular. But even more, Andreas defined an excellent host. He had the Sauna on when we arrived, always attentive, friendly and proactive. We ended up driving down deep into Finland to see northern lights because of snow and clouds in Tromso. And in no small part because Andreas was so helpful in advising and guiding our choice and timing. Far and away our best Airbnb experience. We’d love to return some day.

Had an amazing 4 nights in Lisa’s cabin. It really is something special. We saw Reindeer and a Terrific northern lights show! Absolutely stunning location, very peaceful and quiet. Lisa is an amazing host, always on hand to help and answer questions. We will remember this trip for a very long time!!

Die Hütte von Morten ist super schön. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Morten hat bei allen Anfragen sofort geholfen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
