Ken and Luisa are wonderful hosts. You are made to feel like family from the moment you walk through the door. The place is exactly as pictured. Everything is exceptionally clean and you have everything that you need in the casita. The terrace and pools as well as the entire place is just beautiful. The beach is all but deserted so it is like you have the whole beach to yourself. It is a wonderful place for rest and relaxation and I will certainly return again. Thank you Ken and Luisa for taking such good care of me. Julia

Hermosa casa!, la ubicación excelente, está en playa madera, que es la principal de Zihuatanejo, tienes todo cerca, el mercado, restaurantes, bares etc. Aún así la casa en muy privada, súper amplia y con una vista hermosa. El anfitrión Gaby y Leo muy atentos siempre ante cualquier situación. La super recomiendo y regresaría ☺️

Claudia (and Claudia) were great hosts. As described, the home is up the hill from playa la ropa so it’s probably smart to have a car. There are taxis available but it’s a hot, sweaty walk up the hill even if you’re fit. The three things that really stand out are the pool, the view, and especially Claudia the housekeeper/cook. She was kind and responsive to our needs. She made a wonderful Mexican breakfast every morning and kept the place clean and tidy. We had a great stay!

13 of us stayed at Casa Cielo for a family reunion for two heavenly weeks. This place was amazing. Both the beauty of the location and the luxury and comfort of the casa were outstanding. But what really made Casa Cielo special for us was the kindness, expertise and flexibility of the staff. Christina, Rosa, Sergio and Narcy were friendly, gracious, and funny. They prepared our beautiful breakfast every day and kept the place spotless. They accomdated our schedule and our two picky eaters. For a reasonable extra fee they prepared traditional Mexican dishes for both our 10:00am breakfast and our 3:30pm lunch. I had a cold, and without my even asking they prepared a traditional cough remedy for me every day. We hated saying goodbye after two relaxing weeks of massages, yoga, swimming and snorkeling at the beach, fishing, walking to town, and watching the beautiful sunsets from the outside common areas of Casa Cielo. Definitely worth the money.

Absolutely spectacular! Our group of nine traveled to celebrate a 30th birthday, and the experience was beyond our dreams. Peter and Dexter went above and beyond, offering fantastic recommendations, coordinating with the staff, and ensuring we had everything we needed. The property itself is even more beautiful than the photos…stunning views, completely private, the soothing sound of waves all night long, and the stars are truly magical. The beach is incredibly peaceful, perfect for quiet morning walks and relaxing sundown swims. Armando was always there to help, whether we were booking massages at home, needed a taxi, or a grocery run. Loriebeth’s cooking was a highlight—breakfast each morning was a treat, and the three dinners she prepared for us, especially the tacos, were so delicious. We kept pinching ourselves and came home with memories to last a lifetime. This place is a true slice of heaven. We can’t wait to return!

The place is great: beautiful view, great swimming pool, easy access to downtown Ixtapa. The place is quiet, with only the sound of the waves all day and night. If you're looking for a quiet place, this is it! Ixtapa downtown is about a 20 minute walk, but using Sharky is about 10 minutes. Zihuatanejo, a more lively place, is only about 20 minute ride.

OK, I think it’s worthwhile to explain what this place actually is… It is a massive beautiful house that really comfortably sleeps 10 people no problem that is inside a compound that is shared with a hotel on a hillside and the hotel is consisting of multiple little units on the hillside and this is one of three or four houses inside the compound and it has The perch on the very top of the hill. You are totally safe inside this compound. There is a gondola that takes you down to the beach and it is the southernmost tip of the main Estapa beach. This portion of the beach on the most southern side is also part of this hotel complex and has a restaurant with beach umbrellas, and all that and a lifeguard and a roped off swimming area and the swimming in the ocean is very mellow. The place comes with an incredible chef and his wife and one other lady does the cleaning and they are all super sweet. They live somewhere on the property but totally stay out of your way completely.

This was our second visit to Sydney's gorgeous Troncones home. It truely is a special place. We had a group of 10 and it never felt crowded. All of the rooms are lovely with air conditioning. The pool is huge and looks out to the ocean. All the grounds are gorgeous with lots of flowers. The best part of our stay was Anjelica and Mel. Every morning Anjelica would cook us a fabulous breakfest and Mel would get ice for our cooler of beers. They even bought me a birthday cake for my birthday! Every day our rooms were cleaned and we never even saw them do it. They are really sweet people. Location is great and easy to bike or walk to restaurants. We had a great biking day to Mauhua for shrimp and lobsters on the beach. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting.
