We had a lovely stay at Karen’s place. It was in a perfect position for our family get together close to our relatives. Clackmannan is quite small but has a good coop which is only 5 minutes walk from the house. We also used a local Indian takeaway, they delivered and it was very good. The property itself is very well equipped .. particularly the kitchen which was important for us as we wanted to cook at home. Lots of nice walks around the area and also close to Stirling, Edinburgh and Glasgow if you want to explore. I only contacted Karen a couple of times but she got back to me right away both times which is always good as a host. We would definitely use the property again for family catch ups.

Brian was a fantastic host with an absolutely stunning property! The surrounding area is scenic and the property well stocked with everything you could need. We had an issue with extreme weather during our trip, but Brian was incredibly responsive and accommodating, helping to sort everything out quickly. We would definitely return!

Just to say that we all slept really well here- and enjoyed the wood burner a lot. The heating was really efficient also and that was much appreciated with having our kids with us. We had to edit our booking dates last minute and Ross was gracious around our changes; financially and in his communication. We’ll be back x

The perfect house for our family get together. Lots of space, well equipped kitchen, the games room was a hit, as was the hot tub! The house was warm with loads of hot water. Thank you!

A sweet place to stay. Clean with comfortable beds. Lovely quiet neighbourhood. Close to anything one could want by car or cab. Very scenic area as one walks around. Walking distance to a large picturesque public garden where one can stroll around, with a cafe on site. We enjoyed being there.

Lovely house in a peaceful location. Great place to break our journey to the ferry (Cairnryan is a 90 minutes drive away). Comfortable beds and a really well equipped kitchen. Great communication from our hosts. Would definitely stay there again.

A perfect base for 4 adults and 4 kids to explore Arran. House had everything we needed, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge, fabulous garden area. The beds were really comfortable and it was so peaceful. Duncan was a great host, very responsive and helpful and was even able to accommodate an early check in which was appreciated. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The cottage was beautifully furnished and decorated. It was cosy and comfortable with fresh flowers and a bottle of Prosecco to welcome us. We’d definitely recommend Martyn as a host and this cottage as a memorable stay.

I had a fantastic stay at Morag's cottage. The location took my breath away, just stunning, right on the Loch with beautiful views all round. Peaceful in nature, lovely flat to come home to after long days exploring the local area and the gorgeous bays. Fabulous spa near by for a bit of luxury, lovely local produce, great ferry rides, starlit nights , seals, deer, a pinemartin and so many birds. The cottage is so comfortable and well appointed and lovely natural colours as well as the wood burner which was so great in the evenings. Village shop right next door and lovely cafes and bistro too. A great stay in a great place!

Very spacious apartment with incredible views. Good location and easy to walk into town centre. Comfortable, clean and well equipped. The host Mary is responsive and instructions are clear and correct. I would recommend this apartment.

Staying at France's place was an absolute dream. It was exactly what my friends and I wanted. Frances was so helpful and had clear instructions for everything we needed such as: Wi-Fi, heating etc. When we arrived there was milk butter and fresh eggs from Frances' own hens. It was such a relaxing time that my friends and I have already booked in for another stay in July. Great price for a great place. I would highly recommend. A1

We loved our stay in this very comfy, clean flat. It had everything we needed. Kenny and partner were great hosts and showed us around, gave us instructions on how things worked and also gave us some very excellent recommendations for places to go, places to eat etc which was very much appreciated. The flat is in a good area, a short walk from the centre. The furnishings are excellent, very quirky and made the flat feel warm, cosy and very relaxing. We looked forward to coming back to flat after a busy day of sightseeing. The kitchen is compact but again had everything we needed. The beds were comfy, there was plenty of drawers, hanging spaces and the bathrooms were very clean and tidy. We loved the hidden bookcase. We were sad to leave our little holiday flat and would highly recommend it to anyone. we would definitely book again when we return to Glasgow.

Lisa’s flat is beautiful with all the amenities needed for a long or short stay. The flat is very close to the train station, which is very convenient if you are getting here by train from Glasgow. If you are driving here, you can park on the street but if no space, try the station car park which is to the right of the apartment block - where parking is free! The noise was very minimal at night (whether cars or trains) and there was such a peaceful ambience throughout the whole building. We loved how Lisa had decorated the flat and the thoughtful touches in the kitchen - eggs, bread, milk etc and farmhouse style kitchen. Lisa was a great host, always responsive and gave us good recommendations. I would love to stay here again. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend this lovely stay! Margaret was an AMAZING host providing little welcome treats and communication was very timely. Location is perfect to be just outside Glasgow and very safe area. The flat is so cute and cozy. We will be back for sure!

We stayed here whilst visiting family over Christmas. very convenient for us and just next to the Spa shop for supplies. Spacious apartment, and good central heating needed at this time of year.

A gorgeous stay, beautiful scenery with options for walks and swims and a lovely environment. Equipped with everything you would want and a responsive host. We always have a lovely time when we stay here and will be back again!

We stayed as a group of 8 and could not rate our stay high enough! The area was stunning and private, the villa was spacious and comfortable and our host was attentive for the entire duration of the stay. We cannot wait to book our next stay and hope to make it an annual trip! 12 out of 10!

I would be hard pressed to remember a better equipped house. the hosts had literally thought of everything-from crabbing buckets to pizza cutters. on top of this of this to house was absolutely pristine and everything was very new and extremely well laid out and decorated. this is a fantastic base for up to two families to explore the local area. two minutes from the beach and from the local hotel. can't recommend it highly enough!

We were blown away with the beauty and character of this gorgeous home!! It’s totally unique and an amazing space to spend time with everyone. The indoor and outdoor space was wonderful, we wished it had been summer weather to enjoy the outside area! Has everything you need and more, a very smooth check-in process and great communication from the hosts. Would recommend to everyone, would love to visit again! Thanks so much.

Brilliant stay highly recommended, we are staying between house moves and this place has been amazing for us

The Old Nunnery was easy to find. Entry was supposed to be a key code lock but this was broken. We could enter but not lock the door. One phone call and Tom who was looking after the property immediately attended and arranged for a locksmith. A new lock was fitted within a couple of hours which was brilliant. The house is large and provided great accommodation for the family. We were comprised of adults and older teens giving them space to socialise and play games but also space for everyone to watch a film together. Huge kitchen and dining room perfect as we took all our meals together creating a very special Christmas. We were 15 in total and it did not feel crowded.the kitchen has lots of crockery and cutlery and a fantastic bar area. Hot tub steam room and sauna which was greatly enjoyed. There are sone artworks as mentioned in previous reviews which might not be suitable for younger children. The views are stunning and many a morning spent watching the seals. Short drive to shops

Another great stay! Will definitely use Angus and Anne's accommodation again
