I knew the house would be rustic, so I brought my camping gear. I did not need them. The kitchen was well equipt. I could cook anything I needed to make on the hot plate or in the microwave/toaster. There was also a smoker and like 5 BBQs. Do not be worried about cooking. The location is awesome. It is so close to so many things.. or you can just hang out on the property. We spent a day on the property and a day exploring. We spent every night in the hot tub. It was glorious. The bed is very comfortable!

I really love this city and so happy to have found a cute little place to come back to. Everything was perfect. It was a great stay and I would come back!

The spacious, open-concept living area is perfect for relaxing, with a cozy fireplace that makes movie nights on the couch feel extra special. The kitchen is generously sized and well equipped with what you need to prepare meals, all while enjoying a beautiful view of the forest just outside the window. Merick is incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive—he truly goes above and beyond to ensure every stay is comfortable and enjoyable. We’ve become regular visitors and plan to keep coming back as long as Merick is hosting. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

It was our third annual trip! We love coming back to Mary's place. We are already looking forward to our next year! Our little girl loves it. So much to do for kids and adults. Highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at Lori’s Airbnb! She was very helpful and provided accurate details that made everything smooth from the start. The house was spotless and cozy — it truly felt like home. The kitchen was neat and well-stocked with all the essentials, plus some handy utensils and ingredients that saved us from having to buy small quantities ourselves. It was a thoughtful touch we really appreciated. There was plenty of space for our kids to play, both in the backyard and front yard. They especially loved enjoying the snow from a recent snowfall! The location was perfect — within walking distance to restaurants and local attractions. The neighborhood was peaceful with no disturbances from neighbors. Overall, we felt completely at home and made sure to return the house in the same great condition, even though Lori didn’t require any extra cleaning. We'd definitely love to stay here again!

I had an incredible month + stay at Christy’s cottage. From the moment I arrived, Christy was exceptionally welcoming, flexible, and a fantastic communicator. She goes above and beyond to ensure a smooth and comfortable stay. The cottage itself was immaculate—the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever checked into! It was well-equipped with everything I needed, making it feel like a true home away from home. Although it's attached to her house, there is no shared entry and Christy is very respectful of privacy. The location is perfect—close to skiing (and the lake for summer!), grocery stores, restaurants, and the Stateline casinos, with easy and convenient parking. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Honestly, I’ve stayed at Airbnbs since 2014 and Kelsey’s place was one of the best experiences I have ever had to date. Every little detail was so thoughtful and special from the surprise fresh breakfast to the fresh cookies and snacks. It was beautiful too. I love this place and definitely Riley will recommend it to others and will be back!

Sam was very communicative and it was very easy to find with their instructions. Plenty of parking on the street in March. This room was exactly what was advertised - it's a very simple room and we appreciated the way it was priced in order to enjoy Nevada City without breaking the bank. There is a kitchenette that also helped with breakfasts and dinners in the room. Expect the basic amenities to make a meal. It is a fine place to end of the day after adventures. Easy to get to downtown Nevada City and to Grass Valley. My Mom is in her 70's and just know that the stairs and walk are a little steep , just something to note if you have older folks with knee or hip issues in the party. And as noted the ceilings are low. The wall heater keeps everything toasty and Sam gives instructions ahead of time on how to use it. Just keep it started at .5 and then go up to 1, then 2, etc. Overall, we had a great time without breaking the bank and it was easy to stay and to get around town.

Second time we stayed here and we enjoyed it just as the first time. Lovely view from inside the living room and outside on the swing in the crisp air, watching the sunset. Spacious. Lots of linens, towels, pillows. Useful kitchen, dining table, living room for watching TV. Great parking spot on the property near the entrance. Quiet neighborhood that's close to everything. Very comfortable stay.

I stayed at Andreas suite over the weekend together with my girlfriend for a short summer vacation close to lake Tahoe. Andrea is a very friendly, helpful and responsive host. The check-in process was very easy and everything in the apartment was as described in the listing, very tidy and clean and well maintained. We met Andrea after checking-in as we asked for her recommendations. She gave us some amazing tips for things to do in and around the area along with travel brochures and interesting information about the history of Soda Springs. She even provided us with coffee and additional bathing towels. We felt very welcome and Andrea proactively really cared about our well-being. The apartment is ideal for a summer trip to Lake Tahoe and also for skiing vacation at the local ski resort. We had a great time and would definitely come again and recommend Andreas Airbnb!!

Dirk’s place was lovely. It was quiet, clean and a nice place to stay while my mom had her kitchen remodeled. Dirk was super responsive and very easy to work with. Very happy with my stay and would recommend for anyone looking for a little, cozy, clean and quiet place to stay!

A great place with a wonderful host. The green belt space out the back door was perfect for a nice nature walk. Wild turkeys ran around the yard every day. I would stay here again.

A wonderful place to stay in the foothills. Close to adventure and relaxation. Christy's place has an "at home" feel and definitely comfortable place to stay. I enjoyed it and will stay here again! Thank you, Christy!

Lances place is very clean and has everything you need to feel right at home. Price point is very good as well. This is my second time staying at this location and will use this space again if dates and times work for my visit. I would recommend Lances space to others for a clean place with all the necessry ammenities.

My husband and I stayed at Nanette’s with our 3 month old daughter and two small dogs and had a wonderful stay! There were so many activities to do at the house and on the property. The neighborhood was very nice and friendly during our afternoon walks. The bed is a little squeaky when you move, but the studio was very spacious. The kitchen actually had an instapot, hot plate and a griddle that was not included in the description, but it was a wonderful surprise! We will definitely be staying again in the future!

The space was beautiful & cozy and we felt safe and comfortable. The hosts were gracious and provided extra touches to make us feel welcome. Hands down our favorite place in all the years we have been traveling to Reno and Sparks.

This space was absolutely magical. A private little home away from home with beautiful views, a cozy home space, gorgeous farm animals, and sunsets every night. This was exactly what I needed, and I'm so grateful.

The area is beautiful and and the apartment was very clean. It snowed the day we arrived but the road was plowed. Most importantly, there was a comfortable mattress! Cris is super helpful and friendly. It was a pleasure getting to chat with him for a bit but our only regret is that we didn’t get to meet Lynda. They are really neat people.
