Martha’s place is very nice a cozy. Local to the town as well as out of the way so you feel some seclusion. The apartment was clean and tidy with clear instructions with a handy welcome booklet. Handy free parking space which helped massively. Martha was very friendly and responsive and was a delightful stay. Finding the apartment was not very easy. I struggled with the instructions but found it eventually. It could do with some lighting outside to help navigate the steps but my phone torch worked just as well. I really enjoyed my stay as did my dog was really nice with plenty to do within walking distance and short driving distance lots of dog friendly beaches, restaurants, cafes and shops.

Comfortable flat with all Amenities required . Perfect location right in the center , shops , restaurants , port and beaches and yet in a quiet location . With a bonus of allocated parking space minutes away at the train station which is a real advantage in St Ives . Thank you .

Fabulous location.!!!!!! Short walking distance to all that the centre of St Ives has to offer The view from the window is unbeatable and as you are so near to the seas edge we slept with the window slightly open so as to listen to the restful waves when going to sleep at night Had all the amenities we looked for during our stay and would not hesitate to recommend or return to in the future Just a couple of minor issues to be aware of : Parking at the nearby Island is difficult. It seemed to be full most of the time and for most of the time people were waiting for a space to park The Wi-Fi isn’t great- only really useable in the lounge (and then not all the time) But don’t let this put you off ….you won’t regret booking a stay here and there are some great restaurants practically on your doorstep !

Stayed for 4 days for my wife's 40th birthday, the apartment was easy to find with parking permit available, front door is however on a main road but we were aware of this due to knowing the area. Kitchen was well equipped for our stay, our bed and the our sons beds were very comfy. Big telly with netflix and NowTV and warming log burner. Location was close to transport links (bus and trains), 10 minutes walk to Gilbert's beach bar and salt bar, local pub across the road and numerous takeaways (including a Chinese and domino's) within walking distance. Asda supermarket and Lidl 5 minute drive away

Absolutely loved this stay - cannot recommend enough! SO close to the beach, very homely, within walking distance to the town centre. The place was bright & airy, plenty of space for the 3 of us & our four-legged-baby. Julia was extremely accommodating & super responsive. Will definitely be checking to see if this place is available for our next stay, down in Newquay. Thank you so much for having us! :)

We had a fabulous week at Goose Rock. The apartment is simply stunning with everything you could want for a comfortable stay. The view out the living room, over Crantock beach, is amazing. Location is great, very peaceful with great walking and a choice of several beaches on the doorstep, and two places to eat just around the corner. I honestly couldn’t fault Valérie’s apartment, and hope to visit again later in the year.

The harbour front flat was perfectly clean and comfortable. We looked right out onto the harbour which was such a joy to watch the boats, the sea and the resident seal. We had such a lovely holiday, everything was as described, the added surprise of a welcome pack was appreciated. We will be back as we enjoyed it so much. I booked Emily and Matt’s place for my fiancés birthday and we couldn’t have been happier. The views from the living area and the bedroom are amazing. (As a keen golfer it was difficult watching the golfers play in the sun without wanting to join in) The place was spotless and we had everything we needed. We were welcomed with a nice bottle of bubbly which was a nice touch. Any questions we had were answered very quickly so communication was spot on. We ate and drank at the places they recommended and they were all amazing. I think Rosa was our favourite for tea and box and barber was our favourite for breakfast. Perfect location for beach walks, coastal walks and 5 mins from the local town. We would definitely recommend and would 100% stay here again when we return to Newquay

Excellent stay. Beautiful location, walking distance to the sandy beaches and so many cafes and pubs to stop in. Host was great, proactive and friendly. The apartment is as advertised and perfect for the two of us. Thank you for a great stay!

Paulina has thought of everything to make the stay a comfortable and stress free. easy access to the department, clear and war, communications and a very well equipped and very clean apartment. Unusually, the kitchen and bathrooms were very well equipped, kitchen towel, dishwasher tablets, cleaning materials just everything. In addition, Paulina, dropped round some fresh milk. Definitely a super host! There was space, as it happened to park on the road just nearby. The apartment is a few minutes walk, through a park, to the museum and art gallery and in easy of the town centre, sea front and also Newlyn. Highly recommended.

We wanted a peaceful and comfortable place to stay close to town and I must say this was an absolutely perfect location! The room is lovely with everything you need from kitchen to bathroom. they even supplied us with towels! All in all I found no fault with the property or location and Jenny is a fantastic host who is also very helpful! We would definitely stay here again!!

We had a fantastic time at the Lizard, and walking the coast path. Rachel's place was perfect as a centre for walking and as somewhere to come home to. Excellent. Thank you Rachel

Lovely apartment, felt straight at home with everything I needed. Clean, warm, cozy and comfortable. The view was outstanding (yes i sat outside shivering as the sun went down to appreciate every second) Great to have the private parking and a beautiful walk down to the harbour. Thank you!

The apartment was even better than hoped for and thoughtfully presented with high quality, contemporary furnishings and spotlessly clean. We felt immediately comfortable and relaxed. The walk to Newlyn Art school was 10mins and a good way to start the day. We didn’t need to use the car because Penzance and Mousehole were both walkable which felt like a bonus. We hope to return.

Unfortunately I had to cancel my first day. Wish I didn’t have to, it was so relaxing, everything in the annex that you need. Shower was lovely and hot. Lovely even this time of year to sit outside for morning coffee. Perfect for my Dog and I for a few days get away.

great location. quiet flat. short walk to a great beach and to a pool and tennis court on site. the flat had everything you need. the main bedroom was particularly nice.

We stayed at Neil's place in Newquay, Cornwall, and it was absolutely fantastic! Initially, we spoke to Neil, but Steve, the manager, took over and made the process seamless. We booked this last-minute stay on New Year’s Eve for the same night, and they were incredibly accommodating to make it happen for us. The apartment was pristine, luxurious, and in an amazing location with stunning views. Watching the NYE fireworks over the harbour from our balcony was such a special treat. It truly felt like a home away from home. We usually stay in Perranporth, but this place has now become our new favourite. It completely trumps our previous go-to! We can’t wait to come back again and highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks so much, Neil and Steve, for making this New Year’s our best in a long time! Craig

A fantastic place to stay beautiful property, spotlessly clean and brilliant amenities. Everyone was super friendly and helpful with any queries. Location is perfect for the beautiful beach and village. Our family had the most amazing holiday and highly recommend a stay at Bassets Acre.

If you’re looking for a peaceful comfortable retreat by the sea, Nicola’s flat is the place for you Beautifully decorated, with a well equipped kitchen, super comfortable bed, a lovely view of the bay and quiet peaceful surroundings, I cannot recommend it highly enough Add to that the little touches like motion sensor night lights, binoculars for guests use , plenty of handy plugs for working and a thoughtful 2 litre bottle of milk in the fridge on arrival . Free to use ( with arrangement - the pool and gym in the hotel next door , and great communication from Nicola . Would definitely stay again .

We enjoyed a short 3 day break in Porth, which is the most beautiful location. The accommodation was perfect, brilliantly furnished and equipped with everything we needed… and the bonus was the incredible views of the beach and sunsets. We would love to return!

We had a brilliant family holiday here in Oct half term. Brilliant location so close to the beach and the costal paths, very convenient for Falmouth. The pool, sauna and hot tub are great and the kids had the best time. The apartment is compact but had everything we needed. Melanie gave lots of useful info before we arrived. We will be coming back.
