I just returned from my stay at the Hummingbird Cottage, and it was fantastic. Our host, Nancy, was welcoming and provided thoughtful touches like local snacks. The cottage was clean and well-decorated, with comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. It’s a great balance between being close to attractions and offering a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a getaway!!

Joyce was a great host! Her home was as described, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. She was very kind and responsive. She even came back to drop off cookies, we felt at home! My husband and I would definitely come back!

We had an amazing staying at this house. The host thought about everything one needs. Since we entered the house there was a fresh clean smell. The master bedroom is separated from the rest of the bedrooms, which gave us a sense of privacy. The king bed was so comfortable. The master bathroom was well stocked with cotton balls, cotton swabs, floss, toilet paper, clean towels, air freshener, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, including condiments, spices, some snacks, coffee, etc. You’ll find board games and puzzles in the living room. Laundry room with detergent. The back yard has the jacuzzi, grill, dining set, a fire pit and even the wood for it. The house is well taken care of and has beautiful decor. Great WiFi. Neighborhood was peaceful; many stores and restaurants 6 minutes away. We feel glad to find the Brookes House on our little getaway! 100% recommended

Our stay at Katrina’s home was a wonderful experience! The home felt very cozy and is situated in the woods, so if you’re trying to escape the city, this is the perfect place to be. Peace and quiet is guaranteed! We also took our puppy who absolutely loved running around freely and exploring the property! Katrina is a very kind responsive host, who answered all our questions. Thank you for having us!!

Michael and Christine at Clean Getaways are top notch hosts and are super easy to deal with. They are quick to answer questions and are very thoughtful about the guest's satisfaction. The River Kern Rock House is definitely one the places I will search for on future return trips to Kern Ville.
