our stay at Natalie’s place was absolutely wonderful. We were a family of 8 and two dogs. We really loved how dog friendly the yard and house was. This place is also family friendly with many games and books for kids. The house was clean, had everything you need to cook meals. We cooked all of our meals and Natalie’s kitchen made this so easy. We used the wrap around deck to sit and drink coffee when the snow stopped. overall the house was perfect.

We love this place. It’s a very clean and comfortable. It’s like a home away from home! The owner is exceptionally friendly and will respond to your messages very quickly. We’ve been here twice now and loved it even more the second time. Came up to Twain Harte to play in the snow and we were not disappointed! The roads in the vicinity were plowed and maintained during the snow fall. The home heating and gas stove work great to keep you warm. The TV is massive and the internet is fast. Again, we love this place and can’t wait to come back!

Beautifully preserved home with modern amenities. The EV charger is a nice bonus! Walkable to shops and restaurants downtown. Ed provided great recommendations. Would definitely stay here again.

Had an excellent stay! The house was fully equipped. We got there tired from visiting big trees, made a wonderful dinner and got to relax and have family time. It was perfect. Definitely would stay again.

My Family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Batteate Cabin managed by Twain Harte Rentals, and I can't recommend them highly enough! The location is perfect, just a stone's throw away from Twain Harte Lake and within easy driving distance to Leland Snowplay, Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort, and other beautiful areas. The Batteate Cabin itself was fully furnished and felt incredibly cozy—exactly what you want for a mountain getaway. The amenities were fantastic, featuring three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, an additional half bathroom, a hot tub, and a playroom area, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The kitchen was fully equipped, and all the appliances worked perfectly. The management team at Twain Harte Rentals was exceptional; they were available 24/7 and responded promptly to any questions we had. If you're looking for a vacation rental in the scenic Sierra mountains, Batteate Cabin is definitely the way to go. We recommend checking them out if you're planning.

Great place in private area. Clean and spacious with lots of games to enjoy. Quiet and peaceful place to relax and enjoy the weekend.

We had a great time staying at the cabin. It’s rustic and charming. We were happy not to have any snow, but we were able to easily travel up to Bear Valley for skiing and sledding. There are lots of nearby amenities and just a short drive to the grocery store and restaurants. The cabin was very warm and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed watching the DVDs and playing with the games. The beds are also super comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Twain Harte is a. beautiful area, quiet but still close to casinos, great dining(El Jardin is our favorite), close to Dodge Ridge ski resort, train history, gold country, caverns... just a perfect balance of quite escape and fun. Rachel was great with the instructions and having everything that we needed at the ready. Thanks!

Excellent place and perfect location!

Had a lovely stay for a quick yosemite trip. Beautiful little neighborhood inside the park made the drive down to the valley quick and easy. Apartment had everything we needed to cook simple meals. Hosts responded within 30 minutes to all questions. Would absolutely recommend!

Easily the best Airbnb experience by far. Great location with access to the park, and stunning views right from the unit. Alexey and Nila are super responsive and patient with all of my questions. The unit has all the amenities and feels right at home, cozy and comfortable, especially after a long day of hike. Also it’s very quiet, perfect for relax, unwind and a good rest before another hike or trip.

We forget to bring food. Our host gives us pizza and drinks. Super kind host. We really Appreaciate!

We loved our stay here. Yosemite is wonderful and this place is the perfect place to explore it from. You are about 20-40 minutes away from Yosemite Valley (depending on which bit you’re heading to) and yet you have all the amenities and space to feel like you’re at home. The apartment is really well equipped and extremely spacious (bigger than we expected). It’s comfortable and cosy. The only downside was the noise – if there are guests staying in the Airbnb above (which there were on three of our seven nights) you will hear them walking around when they’re home. It’s just the footsteps on the wooden floor above, we didn’t hear anything else. It wasn’t awful at all. Overall we’d absolutely visit this place again and recommend it to others.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sherry and Alan’s studio. It is exactly what they described and had everything we needed. A very sweet getaway, allowing us to explore several areas nearby with awesome recommendations from Alan’s Guidebook! Sherry’s communication is superb! We did not need to reach out a whole lot, however, the times we did Sherry was lighting quick with a response. The studio also has a traveler journal provided by Sherry that is meant for all the folks who stay. I thought this was an awesome touch to the place as I also referred to the journal for more recommendations to checkout during our stay. 5 out of 5 location, studio, and experience. We had a wonderful time staying in what felt like the heart of Yosemite. Holly was incredibly helpful and went out of the way to answer our questions about the weather and terrain. We were so grateful. The place itself is amazing and it has all the amenities you could possibly want incl. a bbq. We ate out at local restaurants but would have happily cooked if we were there longer. The area is very quiet and peaceful and you can watch nature right outside the window. Hikes are a short drive and we explored north and south because trails were within an hour’s drive. We recommend Tenaya lodge at fish camp for lunch. Would 100% stay again. Thank you.

We love this place, 2nd time spending NYE here and we love it. Beautiful scenery, clean home with plenty of room and things for the kids to do. The beds are comfy and lots room for siting and lounging around. The kids love the playground, board games and extra TV for movie watching. The Christmas tree was a great touch to end the holiday season.

One of the best Airbnb’s for the price and proximity to the Bay Area for a large group. Host was super responsive and accommodating. House is in a private complex and is large, is perched on a small incline, has sleeping rooms slightly elevated or below the living-dining-kitchen area giving privacy and quiet while kids run around. Overall, layout is good for large groups. Has a pool table and a ping pong table which was a plus.

We had a great stay; the amenities were incredible and the hosts were very clear and kind. Would recommend!
