Great host! Great price, great location. Xinias location was perfect for our needs. It was a short stay but I wish I spoke more Spanish so I could get to know Xinia better. Lovely lady, and we hope to stay again!

Mais disons que je ne passerais pas des vacances a cet endroit mais cest super pour couper la route entre deux destinations. Lilliam est tres gentille et repond tres rapidement. We had an unforgettable stay at Victoria’s house at Las Nubes Atenas! If you’re reading this and looking for a relaxing, beautiful vacation - just save yourself some time and book it. Waking up to the mountain views from our room was awesome. The beautiful bed, well-stocked kitchen, and the fresh fruit straight from the farm were great touches. Everything felt so thoughtfully done. Stunning views everywhere you look. We took advantage of the many services Victoria offered: massage by Andrea, dinner by Rosa, sauna by the pool. We definitely recommend planning to stay at the Airbnb to enjoy it for a few evenings. Victoria helped us arrange a rental car and airport taxi. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, thanks to her clear instructions. Victoria and Mark were the most gracious hosts—attentive and warm. We will definitely recommend this gem to our friends and family :)

I had a nice stay at this home. We enjoyed the many places to sit and relax inside and outside the house. Swimming pool was very nice.

Definitely will be back again. Beautiful property, with a pool located out front. The Beach is directly down the street, and theres a good restaurant right across the street. The property is located on the quiet side of the downtown area (which I like) but also a 3 minute drive from the main strip.

this place is a hidden gem. it is very very close to the airport and still in the countryside. the apartment is private and safe located behind a beautiful mansion with a walled garden. orchids and other exotic flora abound on the property. it is a very nice place to simply relax away from the urban frenzy in peace and quiet even if only for one night.

The place is beautiful and well organized. Close to the Los Sueños Beach club, and Marina. Sometimes you get to see and hear the scarlet macaws near by, but the condo itself is very quiet. Host is wonderful, very helpful and responsive to our questions.

This property was beautiful and clean, I loved the back porch with the pool and ocean view. The location was easy to get to, and the property was securely gated with plenty of parking space. The inside is gorgeous with a well equipped kitchen, very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and a big living room area. A big plus was that we had access to the Crocs hotel next door, with access to all the pools and restaurants. We especially loved seeing the macaws all around the property! Would highly recommend staying here if you are going to vacation in this area.

Anna & Michael sind zwei sehr herzliche und wirklich sehr gute Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Haben auch ein Tagesausflug gemacht mit Ihnen und viele Krokodile und Vogelarten gesehen. Michael hat uns immer hammer Mahlzeiten zubereitet sowie erfrischende Getränke. Perfekt mit der ganzen Natur um uns herum. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft!

Sweet family, awesome breakfast, very good communication, helpful and assertive, cutest dog, beautiful view, quiet area. It’s perfect for one person to retreat, if you don’t need fast wifi. You get hot food and basic groceries at the village. Busses are running to Atenas. Gabriel will help you with anything you need, they all speak very good English and like to chat.

Villa Alta has the most remarkable hosts and is a very spacious, clean, and inviting home! This home is in a very quiet neighborhood, and yes there are lots of dogs at all the homes, but I never heard them when I was sleeping. There are beautiful views of the mountains and the bay, you can sometimes hear the mono congos in the nearby forest when you sit on the deck, which I did often, enjoying the cool breeze or the rain falling. I would suggest you have a vehicle as it is not easy to get to a market or the nearby towns, which have some interesting history and sometimes shows. Hope you catch the local dancing demonstrations in Esparza! I will return if just even to visit with Jose and Leda, who everyone should take time to get to know! Best examples of Pura Vida!

We stayed two nights at Beso del Viento and enjoyed every minute of it. Everything is spotlessly clean, the rooms are nicely decorated and the pool and garden area are very pretty. We saw a lot of wild life in the garden as well (a monkey, lots of iguanas, birds and aras flying over it). The house is only a few steps away from a beautiful beach which also was a lot less crowded than the surrounding beaches. The included breakfast was very good as well and Bernard and his wife made us feel welcomed. Highly recommended!

This place is so beautiful. The room was gorgeous, the whole place was clean, the pool was perfect after hiking or to simple relax by, and the hosts were very friendly. We felt very safe and the outdoor wall of the home says The Orchid Tree so it's easy to spot (you'll still need GPS or Waze to drive in Costa Rica as there are no street signs).
