This is a beautiful Log cabin style home. It's not right on the water but you can see the water from the home. The water access for swimming is at a park you'll pass about 1/3 mile away. At night it is very, very dark in the dining/ living area- we had to bring the lamps from most of the other rooms so that we could see to play cards and games in the evening. we missed the driveway a couple times but watch for the red arrow on a tree. The neighbor has vehicles parked at the ingress up the driveway so it was a little tricky getting thru with our full size pickup but completely do-able. the 3 full bathrooms were very nice and the full size washer and dryer was great too. The kitchen very well stocked! We spent a lot of time on the beautiful front porch. There were some dead scrub trees on the land that would be nice to remove to open up the water view even more but it was very private and nice. Very peaceful. The game room was nice. 2 cozy wood stoves too although we didn't use them.

This little mountain chalet was perfect! We had 5 friends on a ski trip and we had such a great experience! We loved every moment spent here and had plenty of space. Loved the hot tub for relaxing after snowboarding.

Our group from the East Coast stayed 3 nights in Kaarin’s beautiful home to attend a family wedding overlooking the Pend D’Oreille river. We loved the fully stocked kitchen, spacious bedrooms and living room space of this mountain top home. The hot tub and the covered back deck overlooking the stunning scenery was the icing on the cake. I imagine her home is extra cozy as cooler weather sets in. Kaarin was always responsive leading up to and during the rental. If we find ourselves in this part of Washington again, we’d certainly look forward to staying here a second (and hopefully longer) time.

I wish we could have stayed longer!!! I knew this place was going to be a Haven from the photos… but it exceeded expectations in every way. I’m going to have to hunt down more weekends away in Spokane just to get to stay here!! Perfect couples get away. Very private and peaceful. It has all the amenities to rest and relax. I was surprised how close it was to a local grocery, downtown dining, and state park trails! You feel nicely secluded out there, but need to run for eggs and butter… it’s just down the street! Thank you Dolly!!!! So welcoming!

Stayed here for a couple nights after my birthday, had a wonderful stay, just far enough away from everything but close enough to be an easy drive. Played some pool and enjoyed the hot tub. Very nice place, will definitely be back!

Jamie and Chris were incredibly responsive and so helpful. We were given options on activities in the area, advised to enjoy the surroundings and the house amenities - and provided flexible check in and out. A lovely and creatively designed place. Wonderful little touches and super comfortable. Will be back for sure!

We were looking for a short getaway to just "do nothing" and relax. Communication during the process was great. The location is right on the river and very peaceful. It is a "tiny house" as advertised, but the setup is really cool. We cooked our meals on the Blackstone flattop griddle. Internet TV was great for evening relaxing. Gas fire pit was great in the evenings as was the hot tub. Plenty of wildlife to watch. White tail deer, wild turkeys, rabbits. Moose came through the first morning we were there but we missed them. We met Rick the second night and he was really nice. Gave us a rundown of all the amenities and a little history on the area. Rick made us feel like he was there for anything we should need if something arose. All in all we have nothing to say but great things about the location and our stay. One thing to note, it is said that the loft is not a high ceiling. If you're a tall man (or woman), you will have to crouch, however, I'm 6'2" and this was never an issue.

This is an amazing little place of solitude. The creek is beautiful and I could sit on the deck for hours. The house was very clean and they provided everything we could have wanted. My family was very comfortable. The bed situation is a bit different being Murphy beds but they were very comfortable mattresses.

The place was perfect high-end utensils, and supplies in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. The decor was amazing. I would definitely recommend recommended. Stay there again.

Kerry was very helpful in communictation. We got this booking for our son and his wife. They enjoyed their stay. They said it was a cozy little place with a beautiful lake view. Very tidy and a nice walk-in shower.

What a special retreat! This A frame cabin is peaceful, relaxing, and well appointed! A weekend of reading, sitting by the fire with family, kayaking, and family meals. Dani was a kind and wonderful host! We recommend for families. Plenty of space for everyone. We even had our dog who loved the dock and running around on the little beach. Everyone had a ball!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this location. Both times have been wonderful! The house is large and comfortable for me and my friends. The location is conveniently close to town, yet feels very private. The house is clean and very well stocked. I would love to stay here again!

Martha was amazing!! The place was just as she stated! It was BEAUTIFUL, very private, super clean, very comfortable, and everything you needed and more.... Martha was very resonsive, super friendly and accommodating. The cabin inside and outside is just what you want it to be beautiful wood throuout full of comfy throws a full kitchen, with everything you need to cook with, Wifi, movies, outside is the perfect deck with gorgeous views. Its just super cozy. Everything you could possibly need is there for you. Its like I stumbled upon the best kept secret ;) Thank you Martha!! We are so excited to come back soon. Trish and Mike

This was our second stay at one of Nicks cabins. We absolutely love how unique, cozy, fun, and beautiful his places are. If you’re looking for something special - look no further. This is the perfect little staycation for our family of three. Spent the day enjoying the lake and hanging by the fire at night. Nick is also an incredible host. Just an all-round great person to hang with. Checks in throughout your stay and seems to think of everything in these cabins. Thanks Nick for another memorable weekend! We will be back next summer!

Allison and Dan absolutely earned every 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating I gave them. As I am Not one to hand out 5 Star ratings unless the rating is earned. My opinion is that good, great, nice, and no complaints deserve 4 Star ratings. But 5 Star ratings now that is different. There has to be a “Wow” in there somewhere, Something that leaves a lasting impression, above and beyond. I gave Allison and Daniel and their Artist Cabin 5 Stars on every category on every level because, well, there were “Wow’s” on every level, above and beyond on every level, and a lasting impression on every level. Simply put, they earned those 5 Stars. Thanks Allison, Thanks Dan. Oh, and I found a nice little place to settle for a year or so about 31 miles North of you guys. So perhaps I will see you around sometime.

Beautiful Cabin but close to town! Great get away!

This place is a gem! The cabin was cozy, quaint, and unique. Serene location with a comfortable private feel. Beautiful surroundings with the lake and mushroom trail. Check out Lakeshore Bar & Grill, great food for breakfast or dinner and wonderful staff. Catherine is a wonderful host and is helpful along the way.

Fantastic place to stay if you are visiting CDA. It felt like we were only 5 minutes away from everything. The house was super cozy and made our trip. Would definitely go back and would highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay while visiting Coeur D’Alene.

Our stay was wonderful. The A frame cabin was very comfy and cozy and exactly what we were looking for. Groundskeeper Johnny was very communicative, laidback, and friendly. Can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Craftsmanship and aesthetics is excellent! You can tell that they put alot of thought and consideration with designing and decorating this place. We really enjoyed out stay. Responsive and helpful with any questions and asks.

Jim and Sarah were fantastic hosts. We truly enjoyed the beautiful location and charming cabin! We were greeted with the sweetest note, as well as farm fresh eggs in the fridge and mouth-watering brownies. You would never guess the cabin is off-grid, and the thoughtfully placed lights were helpful. We would love to stay at Jim & Sarah's cabin again in the future.
