A lovely home overlooking Lake Superior with all the amenities you could want! Our family enjoyed the proximity to some trails, beaches and Castle Danger. Definitely would come back!

This comfy cottage will now be our “go to” for any adventure travel to the Ironwood area. We have never stayed in an Airbnb as well appointed or cleaner! Sue has thought of everything one could possibly need. She is a warm and friendly hostess who is extremely responsive to any question or request. The homemade bread and farm fresh eggs were an “over-the-top” addition. She also brought us “warm from the oven” chocolate chip cookies. We could not have enjoyed our stay more!

An absolutely amazing place to stay! We were after somewhere to relax and this was perfect. The property had plenty of space for all of us to spread out, was very comfortable and the view was stunning! We wish we'd had longer to explore some of the recommended local attractions and will definitely return if in the area again.

Eric was very easy to work with and accommodated an earlier check-in and the later checkout. The house was very clean. It was perfect for myself, my daughter and our dog. Easy access to freeway and downtown Duluth. Would have loved to use the fireplace, but the weather did not cooperate. Everything you need is there. We enjoyed our stay!! Thank you!

This is the third time we have stayed at this house and we will continue to stay here once or twice a year. Amanda is a great host.

Had a weekend getaway with my girlfriend and we have no complaints! Very cozy and fun place to be. She mentioned we should go again.

Place was fantastic. We stayed 3 nights (March, 2025) with four young kids, two adults. Everything is very well communicated/clear (access, entry, garage, rules, etc) everything is known up front (kitchen items, fireplace, etc) Place is big and quiet too. Very clean, updated, cozy, and well lit (also with blackout curtains in all bedrooms) Kitchen is nice with everything you need to cook, including a grill (already had tea, keurig coffee and cups, oil, seasonings, including paper towels, zip locks, detergent, soap, etc) There is everything you need for the beach (chairs, toys, towels). Tons of games, puzzles, and books. But the best of all..... private beach, sauna, tons of firewood, garage, AND a washer/dryer. Fantastic North Shore Location (near Split Rock Lighthouse, Gooseberry Falls, Two Harbors, Tettegouche, etc). It's quiet, it's big, it's got everything you need, it's a great set up and we would proudly recommend this place to any of our family and friends!

We had a lovely time - the cabin was tranquil and much more like a home than a cabin, the kitchen was excellent as was the master bath and hot tub. The Brule River is just steps away.

This is either our 2nd or third time staying at Greg's place and it is perfect for us. Located in a very peaceful area and near much of what Duluth has to offer us. Greg was always quick to respond to any questions we had and a super host. We would definitely book there again!!

Debbie is a great, responsive host! Her place was perfect for my family of four. It was great being so close to Duluth without paying Duluth prices! There were some nice amenities at the house to help us relax during our down time. My 3 year old loved the toys, and we all took advantage of the streaming services (e.g. Disney+, Prime) and the coffee/tea/cocoa/snack station. We did occasionally hear footsteps from the upstairs unit (it's an old, creaky building), but that didn't really bother us.

Great place to stay! Everything is exactly how it looked in the pictures. Everything you’ll want to get to is within a 20 minute drive! Very helpful hosts!!

The Outer Island Apartment was lovely as always. We enjoy coming up here annually for our anniversary and we are delighted each time we stay at Molly's place with a large covered porch, windows that show us the beauty of the great waters of Lake Superior, ease of parking, super comfortable king bed, a walk in shower, super comfy towels and robes, and a sweet kitchen space that allows us to prepare and reheat food, brew coffee, and chill our cold drinks in the frig. The Windseeker group is from our understanding, a woman owned management group and they certainly tend to their role with diligence, quick responses, extra touches, bright smiles, and a kindness that is a joy to experience. We will return, and hope they put us in the weekend for 2025 for us to celebrate our anniversary once again, in a peaceful and restful place. Gratefully, Kathleen & Brian

It was such a lovely stay. Wonderful and private place. Close to the hikes we wanted to go on and such a comfortable, homey environment.

This is a very nice apartment and we enjoyed our stay here. Accurately described, but I still was pleasantly surprised when seeing it in person. Charming older home on a huge lot and large parking area. Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, silverware, appliances, etc. We had our young dog with and I appreciated the solid swinging door between the kitchen and living area, allowing me to confine my dog in the kitchen with me while others slept. There was also a large yard for dog walking. But in winter, the snow's pretty deep and the road is pretty busy. So I needed to drive out somewhere to give my dog a mile or 2 walk. Although the upstairs tenants were very quiet and respectful, you could still hear footsteps above. Not a problem if you keep "normal" hours. Hope our pup's yipping some didn't disturb them!

It's in the basement. But still a great place for the nature lovers. Saw the duck family at the creek and a couple of deers on the other side of the creek. Comfortable furniture. Well equipped kitchen. Wish the windows were a little bit lower to enjoy the view.

We had a fantastic stay. Todd & Tessa were incredibly responsive and took care of every little detail to make sure we felt at home in their cabin. The property itself was beautiful, with stunning views all around. It was the perfect getaway for our family, and I would highly recommend it!

My boyfriend and I went for a weekend to celebrate our 4 year anniversary and it was perfect!! Beautiful and peaceful cabin that looked just like the photos with all the amenities you could need and more. So many amazing hiking trails less than ten minutes away. It was a great cabin and an amazing trip that was a great price!! Thank you Laura:)

This is a wonderful off grid get away. We did a winter trip and pulled sleds with skis. Brought in water, coffee, and food. Made fires in the stoves for heat, and had a couple great saunas with cold plunges in the lake. Everything required work which is what my group was looking for. Wood to split, fires to feed, and lanterns to see at night. Close enough to ski back to the car and head to Ely anytime we wanted. Would recommend for unplugging from the busy world. Still had cell service if needed, but we stayed on airplane mode for the most part.

The cabin is very clean and the interior is very spacious. The deck and screened in porch add substantial usable space. A few things: -Not a lot of grassy/yard space given the forest/cliffs/brush. There is a bonfire pit with space for chairs around it. -Check for burn restrictions. Arrived on October 17th to a total ban on burning since the 11th. We were notified the day of check-in but it changed our plans of hanging around a fire. -As far as I could tell, the propane heater only goes on and off without a thermostat. On all night is too hot for the lofts. Off all night is too cold for the futon (depending on outside temp). -Porta Potty was very clean but smelly. -Sliding door lock consists of I-bolts with a padlock on the exterior. Someone could play a joke and lock you inside with a different lock. In all, this well-stocked cabin is a great way to experience the beauty of lake superior without breaking the bank. Would certainly recommend and come back again.

Took the wife and kids out for an weekend get away to this remarkable cabin. Great place to make some popcorn, snuggle up and get a movie going during a winter storm.

The cabin is very cute and cozy. The location is excellent, with easy access to Ely and direct water access to the Boundary Waters. Perfect location for day tripping to Kawishiwi River. The hosts' relatives who were taking care of the property were very friendly.
