It was a great place! Beautiful stay. We had 8 people total and it was big enough for us to not feel cramped. Would return in the future.

We booked Martin's cottage for rest/relaxation during the holiday season with our growing extended family. The space was appropriate for young children, our aging parents, and our beloved furry family members. Thank you for your hospitality and warmth throughout the booking process. The stay at the dragonfly was amazing. Sherry has a wonderful home and we enjoyed our stay. She is super friendly and welcoming. She welcomed us with a smile and made us feel right at home. She also took out the time to show us her rabbits and chickens and had a chance to play with her dogs! Also, she bakes bread that’s so delicious and we also had farm fresh eggs! Lovely hospitality! Great overnight stay and a lovely home for a wonderful time away from the hustle bustle of the city!

We loved the quiet, peaceful surroundings, the spaciousness of the cottage, and the beautiful views from every window. We love music and spent a couple of evenings just sipping wine and listening to music through the sound system routed through the ceilings. The kitchen was beyond well equipped! Further, Donna delivered extra pellets for the stove before we had to ask, and Erik generously mitigated the problem with the hot tub. Truly special hosts who care about their guests and their comfort.

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

I had a wonderful long weekend here. The environment is fantastic, and my friend and I felt very comfortable staying in the house for two days. Even though we encountered a snowstorm, we were able to relax comfortably in the house. I highly recommend the hot tub; it was amazing to enjoy the snowy scenery while sipping on a warm drink. Most importantly, the host was very thoughtful and responsible. Not only did they treat us to a bottle of white wine, but they also promptly fixed the hot tub the next day when it wasn't heating up properly. I feel that booking this house was excellent value for the money!"

This home was one of the most relaxing Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. You can tell the hosts have hospitality experience because there wasn’t one thing we felt like we were missing while we were there. Example: we forgot toothpaste and found it easily right in the amenities basket in the bathroom. We highly recommend this spot for a staycation. It’s 2 hours away from Toronto and just the perfect spot for a weekend away. It’s definitely on our list to go back to!

The perfect weekend retreat! Sebastian’s place is extremely comfortable and SO clean. In walking distance to local restaurants and a grocery store. Love that he included a board of things to do nearby! All the little details and decor really added to the stay. The perfect place to relax, watch movies on a huge TV, and an enjoy a beautiful hot tub.

We had a fantastic stay with our kids while in town for our wedding! Hilary was incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during such a special time. She was friendly, prompt, and answered all our questions quickly, which made the stay stress-free. The space was perfect for our family, with thoughtful touches that made it easy and comfortable for us and our little ones (like setting up a cot and having a pack and play available to use). We’re so grateful for their hospitality and would highly recommend this place to anyone, especially families. Thank you for helping make our wedding trip unforgettable! We will absolutely be looking to stay again sometime.

Wonderful, calm, and easy stay. Aimée was local if anything was needed. It felt like my own bit of peace and yet totally safe and in good hands. The parking is the closest I have ever had which made unpacking a breeze.

This is a fantastic place. Saskia and Maarten are very nice. They sent us very clear instructions and recommandations. They also responded quickly to our questions. Everything in the airbnb is thought for you to enjoy and make your life easy. They are very helpful. They also provided an extension for us to plug our electric car. The place is very well located, close to Wellington and the Sandbanks. It is beautiful, next to the lake with a great view. They have lots of space and provide paddle boards, kayaks and canoes with direct access to the lake. It is comfortable and clean. Thank you!

LOVED our stay with Bonnie! The place was great, super clean and just like the photos. Bonnie was so helpful with local restaurant locations, anything we needed, and her freshly grounded coffee delivery in the mornings was such a sweet gesture. I would recommend Bonnie’s place to anyone staying in the area, you will not be disappointed.

Doris was a great host, she made us feel like home and so comfortable specially in thanksgiving time. She was so responsive and answered all our questions, she even let us to check out two hours after normal check out time. Overall very clean, perfect location, nice host and peaceful area, worth every dollar spent. :) would love to go back again with my family this time.

This was my second time in a year staying here. Ralph and his wife are kind and accommodating people. I will definitely be staying here again in the future when visiting the area. Thanks again for everything Ralph, we had a fantastic time!

Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

Absolutely amazing, we had great plans, but the ice storm and the cozy fireplace changed those plans. Hermann and Tracy were an absolute blast! Super chill, and super friendly, we would come back just to spend time with them! We had a cute visitor to come check up on us as well! We hope to be back, thank you hosting us Hermann and Tracy!

We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

Our retreat at the cabin was just what we needed. The walk to the waterfront was a beautiful easy hike on the path/road on the property!e found the kitchen stocked with everything we needed, s as was the bathroom. The beds were comfortable with quality linen. We loved the homey feel of this country cabin and enjoyed the atmosphere and property! My favourite part was the photo album of the restoration of this historical building. You did beautiful job respecting its history while bringing it into this century😊 Thank you so much for opening this treasure up to us.

This is such a great little place to stay! It was very peaceful and relaxing. The space is small but has everything you could need. It was really clean and tidy and comfortable and matched the description and photos. I really enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it and would stay again in the future.

Such a peaceful, beautiful location hosted by very friendly, easy-going people. We enjoyed the setting in amongst the trees with open sky views and were blessed with a clear sky on our second night to see the magical array of stars! We will definitely be back!

Spent a couple days in this fabulous cottage. It’s beautiful, well appointed, a great design, very clean & comfortable, lots of interesting details. The location is private, even though you know the neighbors are close by and everything you need is a short drive away. Jasmine is a great host, easy to communicate with and very accommodating. I highly recommend staying here and we will certainly be back soon!
