Ken was amazing!! Super easy to talk to and was very accommodating! We were there for my grandfather’s funeral and he knew that and was more than happy to make sure we felt at home and were taken care of! I have stayed at several Air BNB over the years and he wa sone of the best Host I have seen. The kids enjoyed the place as well!

This is the second time I have stayed at one of Laura’s cabins and I personally think that they are the best for a visit to the Big Thicket. Similar to what I experienced previously, this cabin was clean, well stocked, and quiet. I appreciated that I could walk to the edge of the property and access the Turkey Creek trail. This cabin is adjacent to the road and a neighborhood but there was no traffic and it was very peaceful. Laura was also very responsive to my questions. If you’re a nature lover but don’t want to camp, Laura’s cabins (this one included) are perfect!

The home was clean and comfortable. The river access was perfect, free of rocks and debris so the kids could play. Throw blankets were great for the living room (inevitably someone is always cold). Other air bnbs only have the blankets on the bed. Shon was incredibly helpful and responds nearly immediately. We had a wonderful, successful family trip.

Great little cabin in a remote location. Was a nice little get-away while I was in town working for a week. Would definitely book again.

My husband & son fished the Big Bass Splash at Sam Rayburn. This cabin was so convenient & excellent accommodations. Had to add an extra day at last minute & Natasha was super responsive & made it happen quickly for us. My husband said that cabin was perfect! Thanks for the stay!

We always stay at Laura’s place and it’s perfect for us when we travel to Texas. Super clean and private. We 10/10 recommend.

Excellent stay everything was great. Two recommendations: get better wifi and add a TV to each bedroom. If you do that you'll have an absolutely perfect place.

We had a wonderful experience at the cottage. It was private and secluded. The firepit was great and even though it was a little bit of a trek to get there, it was worth it. We enjoyed the peace and serenity of the property. Thank you for hosting us!

We had a wonderful stay at the rustic cabin, it was so great for the kids that we are expecting on coming back for summer, the location was perfect to explore the nature, and we really liked that a lake was not too far, the water was so clear that we saw some fishes. My husband loved the kitchen at the guest house, and our host was so kind to share with him some fishing poles because we forgot them at home. Thanks a lot! :)
