Stayed here on a Sunday-Wednesday to canoe and hike in the Big Thicket. Very private and peaceful. Beautiful view of the lake, it was nice to have a fire and sit out in the evening and watch the sunset and listen to the frog chorus. Very close to the hidden gem - Watson Rare Plant Preserve.

The house was very comfortable and clean. We would stay there again.

Tina was an excellent host and the cabin we stayed in was exactly as advertised. We plan to stay here every time we come fishing at Sam Rayburn.

We really enjoyed our stay. Jill was very responsive and accommodating.

Justin’s place was a home away from home in a quiet relaxing environment on the riverside. Great for outdoor activities or just sitting outside enjoying nature. S’mores was a hit for our family. Weather was perfect. Everything in the home was as described on the listing. Kid friendly loft was a plus for us. Highly recommend if you need a peaceful get-away.

Debra not only pays attention to all the little details inside and outside the cabin but also understands and assists with early arrival and late departure requests. My visit was specially intended to be a quiet time of reflection following the passing of my mother and it’s exactly what I got.

We had a wedding this weekend and I was able to fit all of my family in one location and have the children enjoy s’mores and nature. Highly recommend for large group. We needed some paper and it was delivered very quickly. Excellent response!

We had a great time. It was too windy and cool to fish so there were puzzles and games to keep us entertained along with tv. Love this place

A delightful cottage in the woods! The house is well maintained and was squeaky clean. The beds were soft and comfortable and had plenty of blankets and pillows. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking and baking necessities as well as extra amenities for hot beverages. A lovely place and we look forward to returning!
