We stayed for five weeks with our three children. The house is beautiful and very good for a larger family to stay. The place was great for our kids as they could play in the garde, on the private beach or the public one close by. Supermarkets etc are close by and it only takes around 20 minutes to drive into central Stockholm Malin and Fredrik where great hosts and always quick and responsive for any questions we might have. I would highly recommend anyone to rent their place.

I booked Johanna and Erik's house for a new year expedition to Stockholm with a group of friends, and we couldn't have chosen better. The centre of the city is less than an hour away, and the place itself was a perfect home from home: tastefully decorated, moodily lit, and filled with things to keep you busy - from a chess set to a foot massager - along with a great sauna. Johanna and Erik were communicative and gracious, and even left us a bottle of champagne for New Years' Eve. Fully recommended.

das haus ist wirklich wunderschön und sehr groß. wir hatten eine wunderschöne zeit in diesem sehr schmackvoll eingerichteten haus. sehr schöne terrassen, platz zum grillen und eine top ausgestattete küche!! sehr freundlicher und schneller kontakt mit mathias. haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Mycket fräscht, inbjudande och barnvänligt hus. Härlig trädgård, nära till bad och bra förbindelser in till centrala Stockholm. Jag och min familj är supernöjda och skulle absolut kunna tänka oss att återvända!

Hans und Lena sind super nette Gastgeber. Sehr hilfsbereit und jederzeit ansprechbar. Das Haus ist ein Traum, nahezu aus jedem Fenster ein traumhafter Blick auf den Strömmakanal. Die Abende am Steg bei einem Glas Wein waren sehr schön, aber auch auf der Terrasse, die zum Ferienhaus gehört und die man ganz für sich hat, ist es gemütlich mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht. Zur Dämmerung kamen die Rehe. Leider haben wir vergeblich auf Elche ewartet. Die Anbindung in die Stadt ist sehr einfach. Der Bus 433 oder 434 fährt direkt nach Slussen in die Stadt oder in die andere Richtung nach Stavsnäs von wo aus die Fähren auf die nahegelegenen Inseln wie z.B. Sandhamn fahren. In der Nähe kann man schöne Wanderungen machen. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und größer als wir erwartet hattet. Sehr schönes Badezimmer mit vielen Ablagemöglichkeiten. Die Küche hat alles, was man braucht inkl. Toaster. Einzig der Weg zum Supermarkt ist etwas weiter. Wir würden wieder kommen und können es nur empfehlen.

We felt completely at ease. Gösta was always available and very helpful. From our point of view it is even more beautiful than in the photos. Very quiet, a great location, beautiful grounds. The main house has everything that makes an old house - we really liked this special charm. All in all, a perfect holiday for us in a perfect location with a perfect host.

A beautiful place and super kind host - just as described. Idyllic location with tastefully decorated and well furnished cabin right on the waterfront. We loved exploring with the kayaks and SUPs just at the end of the garden. There is a tiny quiet beach a 2 minute paddle or 5 minute walk, and a fun diving board off the rocks across the bay. Equally perfect for families wanting to enjoy nature (with other nice touches for kids eg. games, trampoline, lifejackets) and for anyone any age wanting to escape and relax.

So peaceful! Amazing place to get away from the city. Great access to forest hikes and to Tyresta National Park. Mi-Si was so helpful and proactive; she made us feel very welcome and even offered use of her canoe! We liked it so much that we decided to stay a few extra days. Takes about 15-20 min to walk to Handen/Haninge shops or station through the forest and it's a beautiful stroll! Thanks Mi-Si, we'd love to come back some time! :)

We had a fantastic four-night stay at this beautiful cottage in Vaxholm! From the seamless check-in to the breathtaking sunsets, everything about this location is designed for relaxation. The hosts were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to address any issues quickly, making us feel well taken care of. The views are even more impressive than in the photos, and the private dock adds a special touch to the serene atmosphere. Although we encountered a few maintenance issues, such as the dishwasher breaking down, the hosts were proactive in making repairs. A wonderful getaway in the heart of the Stockholm archipelago!

Peter and Malin were wonderful hosts that were always very responsive to our texts and last minute requests! Their place was spotless, cozy and has a very well equipped kitchen. The highlight of our stay was the hot tub that overlooked the sunset and the sea. It was the perfect 2-night getaway destination!

Wir hatten wundervolle und erholsame 2 Wochen in dieser Unterkunft. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Sea Cottage, mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Lage ist traumhaft und der direkte und private Zugang zum Wasser lädt zum Schwimmen und Kayak fahren ein. Wir konnten uns hier in der Natur gut entspannen und gleichzeitig war Stockholm mit Sightseeing und Shopping bequem mit der Fähre oder dem Auto erreichbar. Man hat hier also alles, um einen schönen Urlaub zu erleben. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, entspannt und diskret. Vielen Dank für diesen perfekten Urlaub!

A great very well-equipped little house with a fantastic view of the sea. We would like to come back at any time.

We had a great time on the island. For us, a small family with two children, the small house was the perfect compromise between being in the city, but also having the possibility to be in nature. Michael was very friendly and helpful. The fact that we could use the canoe, was a very nice extra. It gave us the possibility to do something active rather than just being in the city of Stockholm. The ferry to the mainland, which is included in the public transport, was also nice for us to take. We had a very nice stay. Thanks Michael!

Wir (Familie zu dritt) hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dem einfachen, sinnvoll ausgestattetem kleinen Häuschen mit Meerblick. Bad und Küche sind im Haupthaus, waren aber jederzeit nutzbar. Die Lage ist sehr naturnah und wirklich außergewöhnlich. Perfekt um sich zu erholen und Wanderungen in der Umgebung zu machen. In weniger als einer Stunde ist man aber auch in Stockholm und kann ins Stadtleben eintauchen. Lotte und Olle waren perfekte Gastgeber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Great communication with Bijan and Hajer. They were not physically here to welcome us but left precise indications on how everything works. As we arrived in minus temperatures outside, the houses were quite cold and needed a few hours to warm up. The little chimney helped a lot and put us in a very cozy mood. Bijan even prepared the logs so we would just had to light them on for the first time. The bus stop is really close to the property (only a few minutes away - it is ideal to go to Stockholm as there are a few direct buses and many indirect ones). The kitchen has everything you need to cook and bake. We had a great time for Christmas and New Year there, we were able to enjoy the fireworks from the terrace up in the backyard with very nice views. I highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay on Stor-Krån in Ebba‘s and Carl-Magnus‘ beautiful home. You can see the love they put in to renovate and decorate the house and it offers amazing sunrises and sunsets. We could pick blueberries every morning just behind the house and went sailing from time to time or just enjoyed the sauna. We loved the area with Linanäs being easily reachable for basic groceries and Vaxholm not too far away either. They are very attentive hosts and have always responded super fast and helping when we had any questions. We will miss Stor-Krån and hope to be coming back one summer.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in einem echten roten Schwedenhaus. Ein Aufenthalt wie er im Buche steht. Wir durften das Schweden kennenlernen, wie man es sich vorstellt. Und das Haus war genau so, wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet, einfach zum Wohlfühlen, tolle ruhige abgelegene Lage (wenn man diese sucht) und direkt am Meer. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen!

Markus' Haus liegt nur wenige Gehminuten von einem schönen öffentlichen Strand entfernt. Es ist unglaublich ruhig in der Gegend. Mit dem Auto ist man aber in kurzer Zeit an vielen schönen Orten. Markus hat eine Menge guter Tipps, was man in der Gegend tun und sehen kann. Das Haus ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet und verströmt einen traditionellen Charme.

Stefan & Liselotte are fantastic hosts. Super clear and useful information ahead of our arrival about the cabin, its surroundings and everything we needed to know. Spent time with us both during check in and check out and made sure we were happy. Highly recommend Stefan, Liselotte, and their fantastic cabin and its beautiful surroundings.

This house is so beautiful and cute! It is beautifully decorated and each item has been picked especially for the house. There is a big garden, outdoor furniture, a sauna isn an separate little house, also very cosy! The jetty to swim is about 100 m from the house ( to share with guests from one other house). The house is well-equipped and has everything you need. There is a bus stop 100 m from the house and a rather big supermarket 2 bus stops away. We came by bus from Stockholm and is easily reachable with frequent buses. This is a great place to relax, swim, take walks or run. It is very quiet. The host is very friendly and answers very quickly.

Superbe emplacement au calme avec paddle et canoë pour explorer les environs. Très bien équipé: four à pizza, barbecue, bain chauffé au bois… Sur l’île nous avons pu cueillir des myrtilles et faire un clafoutis! Nous avons passé 5 jours au top!

I went to Tove's cabin with my sister and our two dogs and we had a great time! The main house is a bit bigger than in the pictures and the atmosphere was great, you can really tell that Tove loves her place and takes good care of it. The garden has lots of little vignettes that we loved and different sitting areas to enjoy the sun at different times of the day! The sauna was amazing as it is quite big and heats really well. Tove was very informative about the house and the experience we had there was unforgettable. I really hope we can go back some time!
